Forget the Audit: Just Go Ahead & Abolish the Federal Reserve

America is bankrupt, and it’s growing worse by the day. The U.S. government was technically dissolved by the “Emergency Banking Act” of March 9, 1933. THAT’S A FACT.

If you have any doubt, just look around. Foreclosures and unemployment run rampant. The dollar is dropping so low it could fit under a closed door with a top hat on, yet every day the mainstream media is trying to convince us that the recession is over. Who’s kidding whom? If you take Social Security and Medicare out of our economy, it’s a full-blown depression—a total belly-up depression.

FLASHBACK - India, Israel linked to Pakistan plot

For the past 23 years, Afghanistan has served as a proxy military playing field for different countries, including the former Soviet Union, the United States and Pakistan. Now, after a year of the US-led war on terrorism, a new proxy war has begun in Afghanistan, this time aimed at Pakistan and involving the intelligence networks of India and Israel.

It has been learned from highly placed intelligence sources that India's Reasearch and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Israel's Mossad are collaborating to train several hundred militants to be used in an attempt to destabilize the administration of President General Pervez Musharraf.

Neighbor: Fort Hood suspect emptied his apartment

Cone acknowledged that it was "counterintuitive" that a single shooter could hit so many people, but he said the massacre occurred in "close quarters.

"With ricochet fire, he was able to injure that number of people," Cone said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

You know the story is starting to come apart when they start using the "magic bullet" explanation.

So, here is what I think happened.

I think that a GROUP of soldiers rebelled against further deployment. This is why we had early reports of multiple shooters, numbering up to 5.

But 5 soldiers shooting their officers signals mutiny in the ranks. It recalls the "fragging" of Vietnam days. It looks really bad to the citizenry. It could even spread to other soldiers and other bases where the military are stretched to the breaking point.

So, the DC boys look around and say, "Oh, we have this dead Muslim guy; we'll just blame it on him!" And presto-chango, five shooters pissed off with the wars becomes one conveniently dead Jordanian Palestinian Muslim with possible links to Al Qaeda.

Only turns out Major Hasan isn't dead. Which creates a whole new problem the instant he gets off that ventilator at the hospital.

Which is hardly likely to happen.

Meanwhile, the top of this article reports that Hasan was making the normal preparations for deployment. He emptied out his apartment, gave away things he didn't want to take with him, and told everyone he was deploying today. Does that sound like a man about to go postal?

What's really in that burger? E.coli and chicken feces both allowed by USDA

Current USDA regulations, for example, openly allow beef contaminated with E. coli to be repackaged, cooked and sold as ready-to-eat hamburgers.

This simple fact would shock most consumers if they knew about it. People assume that beef found to be contaminated with E. coli must be thrown out or destroyed (or even recalled), but in reality, it's often just pressed into hamburger patties, cooked, and sold to consumers. This practice is openly endorsed by the USDA.

But E. coli may not be the worst thing in your burger: USDA regulations also allow chicken feces to be used as feed for cows, meaning your hamburger beef may be made of second-hand chicken poop, recycled through the stomachs of cows.

President Hugo Chavez's government is sending 15,000 soldiers to the border with Colombia, saying the military buildup is needed to increase security, combat drug trafficking and root out paramilitary groups.

ElBaradei: Iran deal could change Mideast

"I think it's very clear if we succeed on that, it would open the way, finally, to a new era, when Iran and the US... can work together," ElBaradei said at the Council on Foreign Relations, listing Iraq and Afghanistan as two areas where Iran could play a hugely constructive role.

Americans’ income and spending drop, despite stimulus

Webmaster's Commentary:

Look at where the stimulus money went! It went to Wall Street. And what did Wall Street do with it? They wrote themselves huge bonuses with it!

It is estimated that the sum of all spending related to the bailouts has reached $27 trillion (with a 't'). That's about $180,000 per taxpayer.

Now, had the government simply handed every taxpayer $180,000, people would have paid their mortgages. No housing crash. Had the government simply handed every taxpayer $180,000, people would have paid their credit cards. No credit crash. Had the government simply handed every taxpayer $180,000, Americans would have bought new cars. No big three automotive bailout needed. Had the government simply handed every taxpayer $180,000, we would have continued to buy TV sets and other toys. No retail crisis.

But the government shifted the money in the wrong direction. They transferred the wealth from the poor and middle classes to the already-wealthy. And as a result, our economy has gone totally out of balance and commerce has ground almost to a halt. Offering to loan us more money won't fix the problem if we have no jobs with which to repay those loans. More wealth, rather than more debt, is what the people need and what will get the economy moving again.

… it’s because of the “limited availability of agency debt” to buy. In other words, the Fed is afraid it’s cornering and distorting the market … which it is!

Medvedev: Russia to use troops abroad only in "extreme emergency"

Russia may decide to use military forces abroad only in exceptional circumstances to protect its citizens, said President Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday.

Russia's State Duma, the lower house, in late October voted unanimously to pass a bill which the Kremlin said would lay the legal foundation for using troops abroad to prevent aggression by other states and to protect Russian citizens on foreign soil.

How to Audit-Proof Your Tax Return: Don't e-File

I'll take considerable heat for my opinion on this, since the IRS encourages electronic filing, as do many accountants. In fact, the IRS boasts that two out of three 2008 returns were filed electronically. Clearly, electronic filing is the thing of the future and will be required for every return someday soon.

Until then, I suggest filing the old fashioned way, particularly if you're worried about an audit. Why? Paper filing means it's more work for the IRS to access all the information in your return. Your duty as a taxpayer is to be truthful and accurate, but you don't have to make it easy for the IRS.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If only the government were required to be truthful and accurate.

CIA Buys Another Front Company

In-Q-Tel, the investment arm of the CIA and the wider intelligence community, is putting cash into Visible Technologies, a software firm that specializes in monitoring social media. It’s part of a larger movement within the spy services to get better at using “open source intelligence” – information that’s publicly available, but often hidden in the flood of TV shows, newspaper articles, blog posts, online videos and radio reports generated every day.

Webmaster's Commentary:

AP is reporting that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's internet postings were being monitored by the US Government for 6 month's before yesterday's attacks and that the posts attributed to him were a "cause for concern."

Yet the shooting still happened!

The US Government insists that We The People go along with the loss of our civil rights, the reading of our emails, the tapping of our phones, the looting of our computers, and all with warrants, because it will make us safe.

What Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan did yesterday was prove that none of this tyrannical and costly spying on the American people can accomplish the stated goal. They were watching him. They were aware of some posts that caused concern. And still Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was able to open fire on a crowd.

Just as the government climatologists blew the call on global warming, just as the government health authorities blew the call on "When Pigs Fly" flu, the government's state security apparatus totally failed in using all this data collected on Americans to prevent a mass killing.

Imam says Fort Hood suspect didn't seem radical

Imam Faizul Khan says he knew Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan for more than 10 years. They first met at the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring.

Kahn says Hasan was quiet and reserved. They mostly discussed religious matters, but Khan says Hasan never seemed controversial. They rarely discussed politics.

Intelligence officer: Did Fort Hood shooter have 'sinister' connections?

Among the "more sinister aspects" that Pheneger suggested were that Hasan is a "lone wolf" who has sympathy for Islamic militancy and "decided to go act on his own to do some damage" or that he could have "consciously been placed as a plant in the U.S. Army."

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is pure guessing by the "intelligence" source.

The Return of the Inflation Tax

All of those twentysomethings who voted for Barack Obama last year are about to experience the change they haven't been waiting for: the return of income tax bracket creep. Buried in Nancy Pelosi's health-care bill is a provision that will partially repeal tax indexing for inflation, meaning that as their earnings rise over a lifetime these youngsters can look forward to paying higher rates even if their income gains aren't real.

Top Bailout Recipients Spent $71 Million On Lobbying In Year Since Bailout

Twenty-five top recipients of government bailout funds spent more than $71 million on lobbying in the year since they were rescued, an extensive review of federal lobbying records by the Huffington Post reveals.

A year after taxpayers forked over $700 billion to help rescue the biggest names in banking, insurance and the automotive industry, those same institutions are using portions of the cash to influence legislation with a direct impact on taxpayers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Ahem). Why is this money not going back to We the People, whose taxpayer dollars bailed out these institutions which were allegedly "...too big to fail"?!?

Oh, I forgot; we're irrelevant to Congress, except for their wanting ever more of our tax dollars.

Never mind; nothing to see here.

Feds' New Insider Trading Target: Lawyers

Lawyers are paid to keep secrets. But like anyone else, the more valuable the information they're sitting on, the more likely they are to welsh on their promise of confidentiality and sell privileged information to the highest bidder.

As a case in point, two of the 14 defendants arrested in the government's latest Galleon Group-related insider trading bust are New York lawyers who allegedly accepted cash to funnel information on three 2007 corporate acquisitions to a one-time employee of the hedge fund.

Carbon traders deny sub-prime crisis brewing

The environmental charity said not only does the current system of trading permits fail to tackle climate change, it is also financially dangerous. Currently only Europe has an emissions trading scheme, where companies can buy and sell permits giving them the right to pollute the atmosphere with carbon dioxide.

Sarah-Jane Clifton, author of the report, said the growth of a secondary market in carbon trading involving “financial speculators and complex financial products, carries a risk that carbon trading will develop into a speculative commodity bubble”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The brokerage system was set up with the help of ENRON's Ken Lay. Of course carbon trading will develop into a speculative commodity bubble. It is designed to do just that.

Police Arrest Anti-health Care Bill Protestors in Washington

Webmaster's Commentary:

Notice the label "Anti Health Care". Obviously, nobody is against health care. What we are against is looting of the people disguised as health care (just as we are opposed to looting the people disguised as environmentalism).

And I have nothing against government-managed health care in general, I just don't trust THIS government with health care.

Thousands crowd Capitol Hill to protest health bill

Shouting "Kill the bill" and "You're fired!" thousands of sign-waving demonstrators thronged the grounds of the US Capitol Thursday to oppose landmark health care legislation put forward by Democrats.

Under banners deriding "Obamacare" as a step towards socialist medicine and proclaiming "Give me liberty, not debt," protesters loudly cheered leading Republican legislators who stood on the Capitol steps.

The Republicans vowed to try and shoot down the bill aimed at providing care to millions of uninsured but slammed by conservatives as fiscal recklessness.

Nine protesters arrested at Lieberman's office

According to the U.S. Capitol Police, officers arrested nine protesters in Sen. Joe Lieberman’s office just after 10 a.m. today inside the Hart Senate Office Building.

“The demonstrators insisted on disrupting office operations after they rejected repeated offers for meetings with both the senator’s chief of staff and legislative director to discuss their concerns,” Marshall Wittmann, a Lieberman spokesman, said in a statement. “After rejecting these meeting offers, refusing to heed warnings from the Capitol Hill police and continuing the disruption, some of the demonstrators were removed by the police.”

In a statement, Capitol Police said the nine were arrested without incident and there have been no other arrests today.

Video: Tea Party protest on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. features misquoted Pledge of Allegiance

In the video below Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) is asked to start the rally by providing an introduction and reciting the pledge. Rep. Akin stated that it is altogether fitting and proper to say the pledge and that it would infuriate liberals as well. Liberals seem not to mind that the pledge was recited but Think Progress has made an issue out of the fact that "indivisible" was taken out of the pledge by Rep. Akin. The removal of "indivisible" is especially concerning for some since some conservatives have actually advocated secession as the Obama agenda gets passed.

Israel's Super-Thermite Lab

By: Chris Bollyn

August 26, 2009

The thesis of my book, Solving 9-11: The Deception that Changed the World, is that a small gang of high-level Zionist extremists carried out 9-11. This group centers around the senior Israeli terrorist, Shimon Peres, who is currently president of Israel. This group includes other Israeli leaders, such as the former Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, and the current prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. It also includes the Israeli minister of defense, Ehud Barak, and other less well known members of Israel's military intelligence establishment. Former Mossad officers, especially people like Arnon Milchan, who have been involved in building Israel's nuclear weapons arsenal with Shimon Peres, are also included.

Chomsky: Obama Continues Bush Policy

Chomsky: Obama Continues Bush Policy

Political activist Noam Chomsky says that although President Obama views the Iraq invasion merely as “a mistake” or “strategic blunder,” it is, in fact, a “major crime” designed to enable America to control the Middle East oil reserves.

“It’s (“strategic blunder”) probably what the German general staff was telling Hitler after Stalingrad,” Chomsky quipped, referring to the big Nazi defeat by the Soviet army in 1943.

“There is basically no significant change in the fundamental traditional conception that if we can control Middle East energy resources, then we can control the world,” he said.

The Media As Enablers of Government Lies

Why do politicians so easily get away with telling lies? In large part, because the news media are more interested in bonding with politicians than in exposing them. Americans are encouraged to believe that the media will serve as a check and a balance on the government. Instead, the press too often volunteer as unpaid pimps, helping politicians deceive the public.

The Grand-daddy of all Fake Terror Fall Guys: Guy Fawkes

2009 marks the eighth anniversary of 9/11 – and the 404th anniversary of state-sponsored false-flag terrorism or synthetic terror in the English-speaking world: Guy Fawkes Day.

Even now, few understand that plot: Guy was no fox but a dupe ensnared by the chief minister himself in a madcap scheme to blow up King and Parliament. The real plot was royally successful: to invent a pretext for war with Spain. This fraud was the foundation of the British empire
