US technology goes to North Korea via Israel and China

Paul J. Balles views the latest breed of chickens that may come home to roost in the USA: American military technology given to Israel courtesy of US tax dollars, sold by Israel to China, which supplies it to the North Koreans who in turn threaten to use it against the US and its allies.

North Korea As Pretext: U.S. Builds Asian Military Alliance Against China And Russia

Washington is proceeding at a breakneck – an alarming – pace with plans to politically and militarily polarize East Asia, using the crisis on the Korean Peninsula to do so. Attempts by China and Russia to defuse the conflict and resume negotiations aimed at its peaceful resolution are being spurned by headstrong and reckless U.S. government and military officials.

Russia and China share borders with North Korea. The U.S. is a continent away. A new conflagration on the peninsula would directly affect the first two nations. America can exploit a renewal of hostilities to reinstall itself in the Asia-Pacific region and use proxies – Japan as much as South Korea – to accomplish that objective.

China’s new financial instability is another measure of the deepening global economic crisis and sharpening social antagonisms in what we are told is a classless society. Beijing’s measures to control inflation and speculation could slash growth sharply leading to rising unemployment, poverty and social discontent. North Korea can trigger the feared 21st century US-China war

http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?articleId=634129&publicationSubCa...

The recent exchange of artillery fire in the Yellow Sea between the armed forces of North Korea and South Korea caused Asian stocks to tumble and heightened fears that North Korea might recklessly instigate another US-China war, similar to what happened during the 1950s Korean War.

By now, many Chair Wrecker readers have realized why we have been raising the alarm for over three years now for Filipinos to watch intently the moves that the US has been making in Mindanao and against China. Three years ago, your Chair Wrecker felt like a Biblical Prophet, alone and unheeded, crying out in the wilderness.

CHINA TELLS AMERICA: Turn Around The USS George Washington

China's Foreign Ministry said in an online posting that naval exercises risks starting a war: "We oppose any military act by any party conducted in China's exclusive economic zone without approval."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think that it is obvious that the United States has decided that the best way to get out of the debts owed to China is to murder the people the money is owed to! Of course, American self-image requires some kind of hoax to make it look like China is to blame for the US attack. Obama to call China's Hu over Korean crisis

With top U.S. officials continuing to declare that help from China will be key in calming tensions between North and South Korea, President Obama is planning to call Chinese President Hu Jintao in the next few days to discuss the critical situation, according to senior administration officials.

The phone call will come just days after Obama held a bilateral meeting with Hu on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Seoul, South Korea, where administration officials were quick to tout the fact that it was the seventh face-to-face meeting the two leaders have had since Obama took office.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF this is true ( in light of the fact that South Korean military personnel, with American "advisors" in attendance, started this whole situation), it is a positive sign.

IS THE U.S INDIRECTLY PROVOKING CHINA?

On Tuesday 23 November 2010 the South Korean military launched an artillery barrage that saw its shells fall into disputed waters close to North Korea. South Korea does not deny it fired first by firing shells into the disputed waters but says the shelling was ‘away from the north’. The North Koreans had already warned the South Koreans that they would consider such an act as a direct provocation and respond accordingly.

U.S. Calls on China to Use Influence to Restrain North Korea

Webmaster's Commentary:

This sounds a lot like the US asking HAMAS to stop the Palestinians from shooting back when Israel attacks them. Because South Korea provoked this exchange of gunfire by shooting into North Korean waters in what is a clear provocation.

Obama's agenda here is twofold. First, by shifting the focus from North Korea to China, he draws attention away from that provocation. Second, it is clear that between the G20, in which China refused to alter their currency when "ordered" to do so, and the dropping of the dollar in trade with Russia, that the war focus has shifted from Iran to China, with war with China being the convenenint excuse to erase the debts owed to China, and of course, that is easily worth the few million dead Americans such a war will cost, right President Pansy?

U.S. sends carrier to Yellow Sea for exercises near Korea

Chinese Maj. Gen. Zhu Chenghu told state-run media in July that "if the United States truly wants to take into account the overall interests of the Sino-U.S. relationship, then it must on no account send its USS Washington to the Yellow Sea." He called the area "sensitive."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Between the US debt owed to China, China's refusal to make their own people suffer to fix the US Government's self-imposed economic melt-down, and yesterday's announcement that Russia and China are dropping the dollar for bilateral trade, the US government has a strong motive to start a war with China and try to make it look like either China or China's client state North Korea's fault, in order to justify erasing those debts with bombs and the blood of young Americans. Just as the firing of shells into North Korea's waters was a provocation, the deployment of the USS George Washington into the Yellow Sea is a provocation. And I note that Popular Mechanics December magazine features a cover story about the Chinese "threat" to US aircraft carriers!

Crisis of Fiat Currencies: US Dollar Surpluses Converted into Gold

Something is going on that your government does not want you to know about. Very few journalists have written about it and little or nothing has appeared in the mainstream media. The story could be one of major stories of our time.

Western powers have tried to destroy gold as a backing for currencies for many years. Presently the major media won’t touch the story and that is understandable.

Who fed the tiger?

Missiles fired from the Chinese mainland could destroy five of the six major U.S. air bases in the Far East. So states a new report of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, adding:

"Saturation missile strikes could destroy U.S. air defenses, runways, parked aircraft, and fuel and maintenance facilities. Complicating this scenario is the future deployment of China's anti-ship ballistic missile, which could hold U.S. aircraft carriers at bay outside their normal operating range."

Opposite Taiwan, China's missile force has reached 1,600.

Beijing is also building rockets, submarines and surface fleets to extend her dominance out to the third chain of islands, enabling the People's Liberation Army to strike U.S. carriers and bases as far away as Guam.

Encircling Russia, Targeting China, NATO'S True Role in US Grand Strategy

Israel’s aggressive stance toward its regional neighbors would be a serious liability for NATO, apt to be dragged into wars of Israel’s choosing which are by no means in the interest of Europe.

However, there is one subtle strategic advantage in the Israeli connection which the United States seems to be using… against Russia.

By subscribing to the hysterical “Iranian threat” theory, the United States can continue to claim with a straight face that the planned missile shield is directed against Iran, not Russia. This cannot be expected to convince the Russians. But it can be used to make their protests sound “paranoid” – at least to the ears of the Western faithful. Dear me, what can they be complaining about when we “reset” our relations with Moscow and invite the Russian president to our “Strategic Concept” happy gathering?

US panel lashes out at China

n a much-anticipated report, the US-China Economic and Security Review commission has accused Beijing of deceptive economic practises, effectively reigniting the two countries' spat over currency and trade issues.

Presenting its findings to the US Congress, the congressional advisory panel has recommended the Obama administration to take tougher actions against what it calls China's policy of keeping its currency undervalued.

On Wednesday, the commission said that China is creating global imbalances and using "market access-limiting practises" that fall outside its World Trade Organisation commitments.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This a petulant President's revenge for not getting what he wanted out of the G20 conference.

China is not to blame for the US's financial woes: our current domestic, foreign, and banking policies have brought us to the place we are now.

China has an enviable surplus: the US government may well collapse, choking under the weight its own deficit.

Jobs have been allowed by this government to be offshored, creating a huge unemployment problem in this country.

Those people who, legitimately, qualified for a mortgage when they got it, but are now without work, cannot keep up the payments, so houses are foreclosed on, and these people are now both jobless and homeless.

You have a situation where he banks have deliberately oversold those mortgages to the point where no one really knows exactly who holds the title.

Obama has continued an endless cycle of costly wars, with the situations in Afghanistan and Iraq going horrendously badly; yet, we are also at war in Pakistan, and soon, Yemen.

The only people actually "winning" in these situations are the defense contractors, who provide mercenaries, supplies and logistics, and the drug lords.

Did the Chinese government do anything to cause any of the above to happen?!? Not at all.

The US government is desperately attempting to deflect blame from the fact that it is US governmental policies which have wreaked havoc on the lives of the American people, not the Chinese government.

China Telecom rejects US hijack claims

A leading Chinese telecommunication company has rejected the US claims implicating the firm for some temporary redirecting of sensitive Internet traffic on US websites.

China Telecom, one of the country's major telecommunications operators, rejected US claims that its servers "hijacked" highly sensitive Internet traffic for 18 minutes on April 8 on American government and military websites, AFP reported on Thursday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

More gratuitous China-bashing and rather lame since there is no reason for such sensitive US traffic to even leave the US networks let alone route through Chinese servers. Since the "great revolt" that transformed the ARPAnet into the Internet, the military has set up a parallel network of their own, which for obvious reasons is not connected to the global internet. So this story was a non-starter, to begin with

Chinese Missiles Could Close U.S. Bases in Attack, Report Says

The Chinese military’s non-nuclear missiles have “the capability to attack” and close down five of six major U.S. Air Force bases in South Korea and Japan, an unpublished government report says.

China’s improved inventory of short- and medium-range missiles provides a “dramatic increase” in its ability to “inhibit” U.S. military operations in the western Pacific, according to excerpts from the draft of the 2010 annual report by the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission scheduled for release on Nov. 17.

Webmaster's Commentary:

China is not the problem for America's financial woes.

Governmental policies which make offshoring of jobs financially attractive, is a big part of the problem.

Congress needs to incentivize corporations to keep good-paying jobs here.

The Fed needs to be disbanded, and the US government needs to create and control the money, and money supply here in the US.

All of these steps, taken together, could make a major difference in the lives of this country's citizens: bashing China for the US government's self-inflicted wounds of bad policy decisions, domestically and internationally, will do nothing to remedy the situation at all.

China's Creative Accounting: Using Debt as an Instrument of Economic Development

China’s government can direct its banks to advance credit in the national currency as needed, because it owns the banks. Ironically, the Chinese evidently got that idea from us. The correct conclusion is that the US trade deficit with China is the result of “globalism” or jobs offshoring, not Chinese currency manipulation.

An important point always overlooked is that the US is dependent on China for many manufactured products including high technology products that are no longer
produced in the US. Revaluation of the Chinese currency would raise the dollar price of these products in the US. The greater the revaluation, the greater the price rise. The impact on already declining US living standards would be dramatic.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If that one move spooked the DOW down 200 points, then our stock market is fragile indeed!
