The Biggest Lie: The CIA and NSA Produce National Security and Need Secrecy

What we really need for 9/11 truth is to open the files of the CIA, NSA and FBI, and we need it for truth in many other realms too. The Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth have a petition that seeks a new and truly independent investigation. This is a step in the right direction. We need far more than that. We need to penetrate the secrecy of the CIA and NSA on a timely and complete basis, not 50 years after the fact and only partially. Their files have to be opened. We cannot let the government continue to hide behind “national security”.

"Extraordinary & Worrisome" - WSJ Demands To Know How FBI 'Meddled' In 2016 Elections

When Donald Trump claimed in March that he’d had his “wires tapped” prior to the election, the press and Obama officials dismissed the accusation as a fantasy. We were among the skeptics, but with former director James Comey’s politicized FBI the story is getting more complicated.

CNN reported Monday that the FBI obtained a warrant last year to eavesdrop on Paul Manafort, Mr. Trump’s campaign manager from May to August in 2016. The story claims the FBI first wiretapped Mr. Manafort in 2014 while investigating his work as a lobbyist for Ukraine’s ruling party. That warrant lapsed, but the FBI convinced the court that administers the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to issue a second order as part of its probe into Russian meddling in the election.

Guess who has lived in a condo in Trump Tower since 2006? Paul Manafort.

The story suggests the monitoring started in the summer or fall, and extended into early this year.

Webmaster's Commentary:

At this moment in its history, all that I expect from the Occupied Uhninged Surveilled States of America, is continuous, pathological lying.

That is why it is so important that the Independent Media in this country not lose heart; our day is coming.

Patients have no option to switch insurance companies or hospitals because such freestanding entities have long been abolished, and with them, any hope of free-market accountability or efficiency. Abandoning the unique principles our revolutionary nation was founded on runs the risk of betraying those very same people—the poor, weak, and sick—we seek to protect.

Driving Miss Crazy: Morgan Freeman Declares War on Russia at Rob Reiner's Behest

Social media is awash with outrage after Hollywood megastar Morgan Freeman appeared in a propaganda video issued by a newly-established anti-Russian non-profit group, in which he declares Washington is at war with Moscow.

Morgan Freeman is an almost universally beloved figure in the West, and his famed golden voice almost universally beloved across the West, so it's understandable why the newly-established Committee to Investigate Russia might choose him to front its propaganda campaign.

However, initial reactions to the clip on social media suggest the move might've been a titanic misfire, as even supporters of the #TheRussiansDidIt hypothesis criticizing the group, and slamming the video's incendiary tone.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder what a forensic accounting of the group sponsoring this video would reveal about who actually paid for this?!?

The "cozying up" between the US government/military and "Hollowood", over decades, is no big secret.

Shell corporations, posing as non-profits, are a common feature in the American business landscape these days.

Any professional respect I once had for this very capable actor, which was huge, has just been shattered into absolute oblivion.

Did he not realise, upon accepting the gig, which was allegedly fronted by Rob Reiner, that he is actually working for the military/industrial complex of the Occupied, Unhinged Surveilled States of Amerika?!?

Because the ultimate "winner" in the ratcheting up of tensions between the OUSSA and Russia, will be only that warmongering gang of thugs which manufacture weapons, in terms of more huge outlays in military spending, as the Deep State is actually planning to go to war against Russia AND China, to prevent the rise of the ruble and yuan against the petrodollar.

Washington plans to Nuke Russia and China

And how many defense companies may be in Rob Reiner's financial portfolio at this moment?!?

He is rumored to be worth 60 million in net worth at this point in his career

Did all of that come only from residuals and socially conscious investing?!? One has to wonder.

Push to unseal the draft Whitewater indictment against Hillary Clinton gets court date

A federal appeals court will hear a case brought by Judicial Watch on Friday to make public draft indictments of Hillary Clinton from the Whitewater scandal in the 1990s.

Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group that files Freedom of Information Act requests, wants copies of the documents that the National Archives and Records Administration has declined to release. It filed a FOIA request for the documents in March 2015 and in October 2015 the group sued for the 238 pages of responsive records.

According to Judicial Watch: “The National Archives argues that the documents should be kept secret, citing grand jury secrecy and Clinton’s personal privacy.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF the judge on this case is a Clinton or Obama apointee, the fix is most probably in.

But if they are not.....drip...drip...drip.....

China says North Korean situation more serious by the day

The situation on the Korean peninsula is getting more serious by the day and cannot be allowed to spin out of control, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his German counterpart, the state-run China News Service said on Thursday.

A resolution to the North Korea issue cannot only rely on sanctions and not talks, Wang said, meeting German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel on the sidelines of a United Nations meeting in New York on Wednesday, the report added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ambassador Yi is absolutely correct in his assessment.

China absolutely does NOT want to get mired in a war between the US and North Korea, and is very teed off that the confrontation has pushed tensions in the region to a knife's edge.

The US tolerates a nuclear-armed China; a nuclear-armed Israel; a nuclear-armed Russia; a nuclear-armed Pakistan; and a nuclear-armed India; why is it pathologically incapable, under President Trump's watch, of tolerating a nuclear-armed North Korea?!?

These weapons are developed as a deterrent to invasion, and would never be used in a first-strike capability by North Korea, because they understand that should they do so, the US, South Korea. and Japan would have their country reduced to molten glass in a heartbeat.

TRUMP FALLS IN LINE WITH INTERVENTIONISM

In discussing President Trump, there is always the soft prejudice of low expectations – people praise him for reading from a Teleprompter even if his words make little sense – but there is no getting around the reality that his maiden address to the United Nations General Assembly must rank as one of the most embarrassing moments in America’s relations with the global community.

Trump offered a crude patchwork of propaganda and bluster, partly delivered as a campaign speech praising his own leadership – boasting about the relatively strong U.S. economy that he mostly inherited from President Obama – and partly reflecting his continued subservience to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Trump did NOT inherit "...relatively strong U.S. economy" from President Obama; look at all the corporate bankruptcies which have happened in 2016, and 2017, to begin to comprehend the problems with the US economy, which have seen massive Federal and personal debt increase, coupled with the steady outsourcing/offshoring of jobs which used to be the mainstay of the American middle class.

But the rest of the article is absolutely correct, in pointing out President Trump's embracing everything that has failed, spectacularly, with US foreign policy under Bush's and Obama's regimes.

And it appears he is about to double down with North Korea, Iran, and perhaps even Venezuela.

IF, in fact, the US government goes to war against both North Korea and Iran, and choses to fire the first shot, we may well see China defending North Korea, and Russia defending Iran, militarily.

I wish someone who has the President's ear, other than the official triumverate of Mc Master, Kelly, and Mattis, would politely inform President Trump that the US military does not have the money; the manufacturing; the weaponry; or the troop strength to positively militarily engage either country at this point.

After a show of force in Syria, Russia has other countries clamoring for their weapons, because they work as advertised; most American weapons, unfortunately, do not.

Need I remind you of the utter fluster cluck and debacle which is the Lockheed Martin's F-35, which has cost taxpayers billions, but still cannot perform to speck, and may take billions more to ever fix?!?

I rest my case.

DHS PAYS POLICE MILLIONS TO TICKET AND PROSECUTE MOTORISTS

It used to be the DOJ, COPS, NHTSA and the USDOT were responsible for paying police to ticket motorists.

In the past few years, things have taken a turn for the worse. It now appears that DHS has become the largest cash provider for police departments.

What does that mean for motorists?

It means more tickets.

A recent article in the Knoxville News Sentinel, reveals that the Blount County Sheriff's Office received $91,488 from DHS to create 'specialized enforcement' on The Dragon, a section of U.S. Highway 129 near the North Carolina state line.

Another article in the Tennessean revealed how DHS is giving prosecutors millions to target motorists.

"State Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner David Purkey was joined by Vic Donoho, director of the Tennessee Highway Safety Office, in Dickson on Aug. 30 as one part of a four-city, statewide tour Wednesday to announce $19 million in federal grants for programs to reduce road fatalities."

Webmaster's Commentary:

When citations become revenue generators for cities and states, expect them to increase exponentially from now on.

In light of the fact that Mike and I are driving an 18 year old crudmobile, we tend to treat it very gently, and generally drive very conservatively.

But for those out there driving in states where a radar detector is legal to use, it might not be a bad investment right now.

U.S. DEFENSE SECRETARY JIM MATTIS WEIGHS USING “KINETIC WEAPON” ON NORTH KOREA

U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis hinted at using a kinetic weapon on Tuesday while discussing tensions with North Korea when he made a Freudian slip.

Mattis was asked whether there was “any military option the US can take with North Korea that would not put Seoul at grave risk,” Mattis responded, “Yes, there are, but I will not go into details.”

Later during the press conference, another reporter questioned Mattis and caught him off-guard:

“Just to clarify, you said that there were possible military options that would not create a grave risk to Seoul,” a reporter asked. “Are we talking kinetic options as well?”

“Yes, I don’t want to go into that,” Mattis responded.

Previously, Mattis stated that a war with North Korea would “involve the massive shelling of an ally’s capital, (South Korea) which is one of the most densely packed cities on earth.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

But can this weapon prevent the deployment of heavy conventional artillery, as is commonly known to be dispersed in bunkers all over North Korea, and aimed at South Korea?!?

That is a question I wish some reporter would ask Sec-Def Mattis, and soon.

Nestlé Makes Billions Bottling Water It Pays Nearly Nothing For

Last year, U.S. bottled water sales reached $16 billion, up nearly 10 percent from 2015, according to Beverage Marketing Corp. They outpaced soda sales for the first time as drinkers continue to seek convenience and healthier options and worry about the safety of tap water after the high-profile contamination in Flint, Mich., about a two-hour drive from Mecosta. Nestlé alone sold $7.7 billion worth worldwide, with more than $343 million of it coming from Michigan, where the company bottles Ice Mountain Natural Spring Water and Pure Life, its purified water line.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This thievery of what should be clean, public resources for water, should be criminal, and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Unfortunately with Nestle, which I am sure has a thoroughly deserved reputation for buying local and federal politicians, in order to bend them to their corporate agendas, that may well happen only when pigs discover they are aerodynamic.

IT HAS STARTED: CREEPING GLOBAL DE-DOLLARIZATION

The issue of when a global reserve currency begins or ends is not an exact science. There are no press releases announcing it, and neither are there big international conferences that end with the signing of treaties and a photo shoot. Nevertheless we can say with confidence that the reign of every world reserve currency has to come to and end at some point in time. During a changeover from one global currency to another, gold (and to a lesser extent silver) has always played a decisive role. Central banks and governments have long been aware that the dollar has a sell-by date as a reserve currency. But it has taken until now for the subject to be discussed openly. The fact that the issue has been on the radar of a powerful bank like JP Morgan for at least five years, should give one pause. Questions regarding the global reserve currency are not exactly discussed on CNBC every day. Most mainstream economists avoid the topic like the plague. The issue is too politically charged.

Webmaster's Commentary:

With the BRIC nations bypassing the dollar completely in their trade, we are seeing the wheels starting to come off the car represented by the petrodollar, and with amazing rapidity.

23 Countries Now Abandoning US Dollar

Picking up some gold and silver (for its melt value, not numismatic value), if at all possible, may not be a bad thing right now.

Karl Marx was right on at least one thing; all wars are economic in origin.

Look at who is getting demonized right now in the corporate presstitute media, outside of North Korea; China, Russia, Venezuela, and Iran. What do these countries have in common?!?

They have stopped using the US dollar in international trading.

SCIENCE FOR SALE: SHOCKING EMAILS REVEAL EDITOR OF FOOD SCIENCE JOURNAL WAS ON MONSANTO’S PAYROLL AT $400 PER HOUR

(Natural News) Recently released court documents reveal what many people have long suspected: Monsanto had a hand in the retraction of a groundbreaking study that left little doubt about the dangers of glyphosate in a prominent food science journal.

Monsanto will do anything to protect the reputation of Roundup and its other herbicide products – which earned them $1.9 billion in gross profits in 2015 alone – and that includes silencing their detractors.

It has now emerged that the Editor in Chief of the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology who oversaw the famous study’s retraction was on Monsanto’s payroll. This is a conflict of interest at best, and possibly something far more underhanded, and they might have gotten away with it had their lawyers succeeded in preventing their internal documents from being released in a class action lawsuit filed against the firm by cancer patients.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Seralini sued, in order to reclaim his professional reputation, and won.

Monsanto PR war falls short: Séralini wins lawsuit

One of the most horrific, immoral actions on behalf of scientists is science for sale, to endorse anything for a buck. This includes vaccines, or alleged
treatments that are supposed to make people better, but frequently do not.

Remember, back in the day, when doctors promoted the smoking of cigarettes?!?

To create better health for yourself, and those you care about, please ignore, don't buy, and don't eat, GMO food, as though it were the plague.

Talk to the manager of your local big-box store, or your market, and let them know that you are willing to pay more to insure the food you are eating is GMO free, or that you will change where you go to buy your groceries if the store will not offer gmo-free food.

Loss of revenue is something these stores do not want to see happen; if enough of us have that conversation with these mangers, our ability to get GMO free food will be greater.

LOVING OUR DEBT-SERFDOM: OUR NEOFEUDAL STATUS QUO

Democracy (i.e. political influence) and ownership of productive assets are the exclusive domains of the New Aristocracy.

I have often used the words neoliberal, neocolonial and neofeudal to describe our socio-economic-political status quo. Here are my shorthand descriptions of each term:

1. Neoliberal: the commoditization / financialization of every asset, input (such as labor) and output of the economy; the privatization of the public commons, and the maximizing of private profits while costs and losses are socialized, i.e. transferred to the taxpayers.

2. Neocolonial: the exploitation of the domestic populace using the same debt-servitude model used to subjugate, control and extract profits from overseas populations.

3. Neofeudal: the indenturing of the workforce via debt and financial repression to a new Aristocracy; the disempowerment of the workforce into powerless debt-serfs.

Webmaster's Commentary:

After the deaths and maimings for life of so many of our brave military service people in Iraq and Afganinstan, ultimately for control of the oil pipelines and mineral resources of these countries, and my nacent, dawning understanding of Karl Marx's statement that "all wars are economic in nature", I can no longer buy into anything the corporate presstitutes are saying. They may get the weather correctly, but even that can be problematic.

The Occupied, Unhinged, Surveilled State of America has never been a true meritocracy; it has always been about power, money, and influence, of which I have precious little.

But I have never bought into victimhood or identity politics, which I think, has been a reasonbly healthy way in which to behave. As a 68 year old, still working woman, an equity feminist, and a published composer, I appreciate what I can still bring to the table, in terms of both art and business.

I will not be defined by a corpratocracy which may dictate that I am "over the hill". You would never hear that from the clients for whom I do marketing!! :-)

Professors told to report students who make campus ‘less inclusive’ to Behavior Assessment Team

As colleges across the country struggle with questions related to free speech on campuses, some schools have implemented policies that appear to give administrators significant latitude to discipline students for speaking in unpopular ways.

Most recently, the dean’s office of Utah Valley University, a public institution located in the north-central part of Utah, distributed a guidance letter to all faculty encouraging them to report to the school’s Behavior Assessment Team any students who use “inappropriate language,” are “argumentative,” or who speak “loudly.”

Manafort Calls On DOJ To Release His Intercepted Phone Calls; Demands Investigation Of Leaks

Less than 24 hours after CNN triggered the latest outbreak of 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' by relaying information from anonymous sources that Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manfort has been under surveillance by the FBI since 2014, Manafort has fired back by calling on the Department of Justice to release all transcripts of his tapped phone calls so that the American public "can come to the same conclusion as the DOJ — there is nothing there." Per the Daily Caller:

Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort is calling on the Justice Department to release transcripts of any intercepted communications he may have had with foreigners.

F-35 Ejection Seat to Kill, Wound 22 US Pilots - Government Watchdog

The F-35 Joint Program Office has skimped out on spending a few million dollars to conduct more thorough testing of the fifth-generation plane’s potentially lethally flawed ejection seat despite its generous $400 billion budget.

Given how much flight time the US military plans to use the F-35 for, 22 pilots are projected to suffer injuries or be killed over the lifetime of the plane’s use because of insufficient testing, according to the report first obtained by CQ Roll Call.

The internal report created by the Technical Airworthiness Authority said the failure to implement extra safety tests is bound to prove “catastrophic,” the Stripes report states. “No less than $1 million” and 9 to 12 months of testing could lower the risk of pilot injury or death from 22 to zero, TAA said in its report dated May 1.

Strongest attacks on Syrian Army come from where opposition & US forces stationed – Russian MoD

The Syrian Army liberating the Deir ez-Zor region from terrorists is facing strong resistance and massive fire from areas where armed opposition groups and US forces are stationed, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The Syrian Army continues to liberate the Euphrates valley to the east of Deir ez-Zor with the help of the Russian Air Force, the statement from the ministry says, adding that the government forces have already retaken more than 60 square kilometers on the left bank of the Euphrates from Islamic State (IS, former ISIS/ISIL).

The Syrian Army, however, faces resistance not only from jihadists, but also apparently from US-backed armed opposition groups, according to the statement

Russian Collusion: Hillary Clinton Invited Vladimir Putin To “Pay For Play” Event -Mac Slavo

In newly released emails which the mainstream media is willfully ignoring, Hillary Clinton invited Russian president Vladimir Putin to a Clinton Foundation event. The Russian collusion between Hillary Clinton is becoming very apparent.

Hillary Clinton likes to talk a tough game about Russian President Vladimir Putin. And she likes to put him on the list of those at fault for her loss in the election last November to Donald Trump. But that didn’t stop her from inviting him and other top Russian officials to a Clinton Foundation gala right after she became Secretary of State.

Clinton Foundation director of foreign policy Amitabh Desai sent dozens of invitations to world leaders including then-Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, and Former President of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev, emails recently obtained by Judicial Watch revealed.

Putin Orders End To US Dollar Trade At Russian Seaports

Whether in response to rising scorching tensions with the US, or simply to provide support for the ruble, on Tuesday Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to approve legislation making the ruble the main currency of exchange at all Russian seaports by next year, RT reported citing the Kremlin website.

The head of Russian antitrust watchdog FAS Igor Artemyev, many services in Russian seaports are still priced in US dollars, even though such ports are state-owned. So, in order to "protect the interests" of dockworkers and their complyees with foreign currency obligations, the government was instructed to set a transition period before switching to ruble settlements.

Dangerous Words of Escalation: Trump Threatens to Abandon Iran’s Nuclear Deal as Israeli Officials Call for Action Against Iran

Once again, the annual United Nations General Assembly is taking place in New York City with U.S. President Donald Trump set to take center stage as he is expected to focus on the North Korean Crisis and the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

As the Western media’s attention has been focused on the North Korea crisis (which is also another very serious matter), another development has been taking place in Tel Aviv, as calls for action by Israeli officials against Iran’s Nuclear Program although it’s not a new development (it’s been going on for many years). Channel 2 on Israeli TV reported that Mossad chief Yossi Cohen is calling on the Israeli government to take action against the Iranian government. The Times of Israel reported that

“Channel 2 on Sunday paraphrased Cohen as asserting that “Today’s Iran is the North Korea of yesterday, and so we need to act now so that we don’t wake up to [an Iranian] bomb.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to politely point out that Israel was not a signatory to the P5+1, therefore has utterly no business in attempting to get the US from walking away from this treaty.

I would also like to politely point out that Iran has signed the NNPT: Israel has not.

I would also like to politely point out that Iran hasn't started a war in over 200 years.

IF President Trump has any horse-sense left, he will not allow Netanyahu to "charm" him into another Middle Eastern war, where the outcomes of US military intervention have not quite been stellar; think Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, and Syria, and you will catch my drift.

IF both Israel and Saudi Arabia believe that a war against Iran is in their best interests, as both consider Iran their "existential enemy", let them fight it; such a war is definitely NOT in the interests of We the People, and I do hope President Trump understands this.

US Is Sending Another Aircraft Carrier To Korea: Yonhap

After carrying out bombing drills over the Korean peninsula on Monday following North Korea’s firing of an intermediate-range missile over the Japanese island of Hokkaido, US and South Korean forces are planning to continue their displays of military might early next month, according to a report from Yonhap, the South Korean news agency. However, in a move that is sure to provoke a barrage of threats from North Korea, the US is reportedly sending a nuclear-armed aircraft carrier to the waters off the Korean peninsula, where it will take part in an upcoming round of military drills.

Earlier this year, the US sent three aircraft carriers to waters near North Korea in an unprecedented show of force. However, it's unclear if any of those carriers are still positioned so closely to the peninsula. Here's the latest map of US naval strike groups, which was compiled by Stratfor using publicly-available information. Deployments considered "sensitive" would not be included on this map.

War With North Korea Starts to Look Inevitable

We have pretty much exhausted all the things that we could do at the Security Council at this point,” said Nikki Haley on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, referring to North Korea. “We wanted to be responsible and go through all diplomatic means to get their attention first,” the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said. “If that doesn’t work, General Mattis [Defense Secretary James Mattis] will take care of it.”
The comments, no off-the-cuff remarks, mirrored her words at a White House press briefing Friday, and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, standing next to Haley at that briefing, was even more explicit. “I think we ought to make clear what’s different about this approach is, is that we’re out of time,” he noted, referring to sanctions. “As Ambassador Haley said before, we’ve been kicking the can down the road, and we’re out of road.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I was amazingly, horrifically stunned by President Trump's address at the UN today.

He has come as near to publicly declaring war against North Korea as one can without actually declaring war against it.

Kim Jung Un saw what happened when Iraq and Libya denuclearized; there was regime change, coupled with grisly assassinations of their heads of state; he knows, because of what the US has done before (sometimes backed by the UN and/or NATO) that if he denuclearizes before sitting down for negotiations, the precise, same fate awaits him.

And if the US fires first, China has publicly stated that they will stand with North Korea, militarily. This means we are most probably likely to see a false flag blamed on North Korea, as the "justification" for a war against it.

Mike and I live on a first strike target here on Oahu, which the Chinese military can actually accurately hit, which makes us more than a little nervous.

The only thing I can tell our readers right now is, please make sure your prep plans are fulfilled; make sure that you have food, potable water, and medications on hand for you, your family, and your pets. Make sure you have a plan to regroup, if you are separated. Have a bug-out kit close to hand.

And if you are of a mind to do so, please pray, that somehow, the catastrophe such a war will bring to the world can be averted.

Syrian army sends more troops across Euphrates, near U.S.-backed forces

Syrian troops crossed to the eastern side of the Euphrates in Deir al-Zor on Monday, state media and a monitoring group said, increasing their presence in an area where U.S.-backed militias have also advanced.

The rival forces are conducting offensives against Islamic State and have generally stayed out of each other’s way, with the river often acting as a dividing line.

However, incidents this year have raised tension between the government side, backed by Russia, and the U.S.-backed forces.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unless there are some high level back channel negotiations between US and Russian diplomats, this could get very ugly very quickly

BYE-BYE, PARENT: THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO OWN YOUR CHILD

What would you do if you were told that you could not be present for a ‘private’ meeting between your 12 to 17 year-old child and an unknown nurse or care-giver with a list of questions that would be put in their ‘medical’ record forever? I am not sure if I am a ‘normal’ parent or not but after being a practicing RN for over 20 years, I would say, “No thank you!”

Federal Reserve will continue cutting economic life support

Netanyahu Is Meeting Trump To Push For War With Iran

Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with Donald Trump at the White House and push the U.S. to withdraw from the nuclear accord with Iran. Netanyahu will present an argument that Trump already has come to accept: America’s adherence to the nuclear deal cannot solely depend on Iran’s compliance with the agreement, but also whether Iran’s other policies challenge US national interests. It’s a more honest argument compared to the slogans Netanyahu has used in the past. But it is also a line that fundamentally contradicts Netanyahu’s central message of the past decades: That Iran’s nuclear program constitutes an existential threat to Israel.

Webmaster's Commentary:

President Trump, a word, please on this issue; should you go back on this P5+1 agreement, you will telegraph to the world that the US is incapable of keeping its treaties and promises, and will walk away from them whenever said treaties are "inconvenient" to US hegemony.

And just which of Iran's policies in the region are an anathema to US national security interests?!?

Can you possibly, please, explain what you mean by this, because if you are taking the American people to war against Iran, the American people have the absolute right to understand why.

OK, Iran is developing better ballistic missiles: but these were never a part of the P5+1 agreement in the first place; and with Israel and the US breathing down Iran's neck, threatening war at least every other Tuedsay, can you blame them for wanting some decent defense capabilities?

No thinking, reasonable person possibly could.

Listen, we know your BFFs in the Middle East are cheerleading you on starting a war against Iran. Both Prince Salman and Prime Minister Netanyahu have been uofficial "president whisperers" in this regard.

But this could turn out to be an absolute nightmare for the OSUSSA (the curent state of this nation, which can most honestly be described as the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled States of Amerika.) And here is why.

Russian political and military figures have stated, publicly, that should Iran be attacked, they will come to its aid militarily.

Have McMaster, Kelly, and Mattis told you this?!? Because, Mr. President, it is bloody well time someone did.

Mr. President, we don't have the money, the troop stregth, the manufacturing, or the weaponry to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia in Iran; it is just that simple.

And what, precisely, will Prince Salman and Netanyahu give you to win this war?!? How many troops, and how much military equipment have they committed?!? My deep concern here, Mr. President, is that they will expect the US military to do most of the heavy lifting, but will expect the costs in blood and money, to be borne primarily by this country.

To all the Alphabet Soup agencies reading this site: I care about my country very deeply; and until it becomes illegal to do so, I will comment on the ways in which I believe it is moving in the wrong direction.

As you understand, I am a Christian pacifist activist, who never advocates, or condones violence, which means that I am constantly exorting this government to resolve its geopolitical differences with other countries in ways other than through wars.

A war with Iran may be believed to be in the best interests of both the Saudi Arabian and Israeli leadership; but with all the domestic and financial problems facing this country, a war against Iran, which may well translate into a war with Russia, is absoflippinglutely NOT in the interests of this country's people at all.

To the Iranian bloggers who read this site (I don't know if there is a mirror in Farsi, but understand there may be): thinking Americans who understand your history, and particularly your 20th century history), do not want to see war against Iran. Unlike Israel, you have a Constitution; are a signatory to the NNPT (which Israel is not); and your religious minorities are protected under your Constitution.

In sum total, Mr. President, a war with Iran is an horrifically bad idea, no matter how much Prince Salman and Prime Minister Netanyahu have been rooting for the OUSSA to do this.

ISRAEL AND US OPEN FIRST AMERICAN MILITARY BASE IN ISRAEL

Israel and the U.S. inaugurated the first American military base on Israeli soil on Monday, which will serve dozens of soldiers operating a missile defense system.

The move comes at a time of growing Israeli concerns about archenemy Iran's development of long-range missiles. Together with the U.S., Israel has developed a multilayered system of defenses against everything from long-range guided missile attacks from Iran to crude rockets fired from Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

The base's opening is largely symbolic and isn't expected to bring operational changes. But the Israeli military says that along with other measures, it sends a message of readiness to Israel's enemies.

"It's a message that says Israel is better prepared. It's a message that says Israel is improving the response to threats," said Brig. Gen. Zvika Haimovich, the commander of Israel's aerial defense.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Although this didn't make it to the presstitute corporate news outlets in this country, this base makes a joint Israeli/US strike against Iran far more potentially feasible, and nearer in schedule than it might have been before.

Google and Sex Traffickers Like Backpage.com

Sex traffickers in America have the police and prosecutors pursuing them, but they do have one crucial (if secret) ally: Google.

Google’s motto has long been “Don’t be evil,” and I admire lots about the company. But organizations it funds have for years been quietly helping Backpage.com, the odious website where most American victims of human trafficking are sold, to battle lawsuits from children sold there for sex.

Now Google is using its enormous lobbying power in Washington to try to kill bipartisan legislation that would crack down on websites that promote sex trafficking.

It’s not that Google is taking ads from Backpage (it doesn’t) or giving it money. But as Backpage fights off prosecutors and worries about the legislation, the Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act, Google has emerged as its behind-the-scenes champion.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, Google; now is the time to walk your talk, and don't be evil; support this bill!!

US-Kiev rejection of Russian initiative proves more war in store for Donbass —

Ukraine’s and the United States’ refusal to work on the text of Russia’s draft resolution on deploying a UN contingent in Donbass to ensure security of the OSCE mission reveals their real plans to realize a kind of the Croatian scenario, Denis Pushilin, the chief negotiator for the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic at the pace talks in Minsk, said on Monday.

"Ukraine’s and the United States’ refusal to work on the text of the Russia-initiated draft resolution on a UN mission in Donbass reveals the real motives of the Western partners. Such actions openly show what [Ukrainian President] Pyotr Poroshenko and his American friends really want," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

At this moment in its history, the government of the Occupied, Unhinged Surveilled States of Amerika, appears to be pathologically incabable of resolving its geopolitical differences in any way other than war.

The country I thought I knew, as a kid growing up, seemed to be much more intellectually, and morally capable of getting its way through hard-won, intelligent negotiations; but perhaps I was just fooling myself in that assessment, even back then.

Rosneft to reach gas pipeline deal with Iraqi Kurdistan

Agreement on setting up the natural gas pipeline infrastructure for Iraqi Kurdistan may be sealed between Rosneft and the region’s government by the end of the year, according to the company.

Investment in the project will be made under the BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer) arrangement and will be recovered through tariff charges.

The capacity of the pipeline is expected at up to 30 billion cubic meters of gas per year.

"The Kurdistan Region gas pipeline will not only supply natural gas to power plants and domestic factories throughout the region but also enable exporting substantial volumes of fuel to Turkey and the European market in the coming years," said the report.

Commissioning of the pipeline and the first domestic supplies are planned for 2019. Exports will begin starting 2020.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, Russia also benefits economically from the establishment of an indepentent Kurdistan.

But President Putin, a word, please; have the Iraqi and Syrian governemnt gotten the memo yet that it will be parts of their territory which will be chewed off in order to establish such a country?!?

ENTIRE VOLUME OF CIA FILES ON LEE HARVEY OSWALD, SET TO BE RELEASED IN OCTOBER, HAS ‘GONE MISSING’

Countless concerned individuals are still searching for answers surrounding the mysterious death of the 35th president of the United States, John F. Kennedy. The official narrative, that a lone former Marine named Harvey Oswald assassinated him, is widely disputed.

All available documents from all government entities are required by the Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 to be released on October 26th of 2017. But if history repeats itself, the Central Intelligence Agency may not release an entire volume of documents on Oswald, known as “volume 5.”

IN FLORIDA, YOU CAN’T USE YOUR OWN SOLAR PANELS IN A CRISIS

When it comes to the U.S. economy, the “con” part offers the best description of the current relationship between business, government and the preyed upon consumer. The way things work in early 21st century America is large businesses bribe politicians in a variety of ways at both the local and federal level, and the end result is laws that are designed to increase corporate profits at the expense of the wellbeing and freedom of the American public. Politicians end up with financial war chests to run their next campaign, while bureaucrats see a lucrative opportunity to swing through the ever spinning revolving door should they play ball with lobbyists and their patrons. Yes, there’s always some degree of corruption within any society of humans, but there are peaks and valleys in such cycles. I’d argue we are somewhere in the peak corruption phase.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: both at the Federal and State level, a corporation can buy any bit of legislation which fattens its bottom line, as long as they have enough money with which to bribe your legislators to vote for it.

Freedom Is a Myth: We Are All Prisoners of the Police State’s Panopticon Village

In fact, it is in the mind that prisons are created for us. And in the lockdown of political correctness, it becomes extremely difficult to speak or act individually without being ostracized. Thus, so often we are forced to retreat inwardly into our minds, a prison without bars from which we cannot escape, and into the world of video games and television and the Internet.

‘GM seed choice shouldn’t be dictated’: Italian farmers question EU court ruling on Monsanto corn

Not all Italian farmers welcome a European court ruling this week allowing growers to cultivate genetically-modified corn in Italy. Some farmers told RT that the majority reject GM seeds and question the EU interfering in national laws.

The European Court of Justice on Wednesday ruled in favor of Giorgio Fidenato, an Italian activist farmer who faces fines for growing genetically-modified maize MON 810 on his land in 2014, despite a 2013 government decree banning its cultivation.

In 2013, Italy asked the European Commission to adopt emergency measures prohibiting the planting of the Monsanto-produced seeds in light of new scientific studies carried out by Italian scientists.

Never Forget: The US Government Has A Known History Of Using False Flags

This tradition of using lies to rally the unwashed masses behind military endeavors on behalf of the rich and powerful has probably been going on since the dawn of civilization, and it is only humanity’s increasing adeptness at networking and sharing information which has enabled us to begin catching on to the deceitful manipulations of the people who rule us. Our history books are doubtless riddled with countless inaccuracies as to the real reasons underlying violent conflicts between various kingdoms and factions, because the few literate people who were permitted to write the official historic accounts of them had full control of the narrative at the time.

DEFENSE CONTRACTORS ON CLOUD 9

The Senate is expected to pass by a wide margin a $700-billion defense bill today. When it comes to extravagant military spending, Congress is relentlessly bipartisan, and all bickering stops, as long as the bacon gets spread to every district and state.

“The 1,215-page measure defies a number of White House objections, but Trump hasn’t threatened to veto the measure,” the Washington Post mused. “The bill helps him honor a pledge to boost military spending by tens of billions of dollars.”

So who gets this money?

It’s going to get spread around, but defense contractors are going to get a chunk of it, and they’ve been on cloud 9 all year. Their shares – fired up by plenty of saber-rattling – have mostly soared from all-time high to all-time high.

These are some of the biggest defense contractors and their shares year-to-date as of this morning:

Rockwell Collins (COL), to be acquired by United Technologies: $130.90, up 40.6% YTD

Webmaster's Commentary:

An absolutely staggering amount of your tax dollars get devoted to killing, and the technological refinement of killing, world wide; that is what this defense budget is about.

And these are some of the examples of what these weapons do: (warning: graphic images).

Over 160 children reported among US drone deaths

Images: Afghani funeral, US drone strike

US drone strike kills Afghani children

Images: US/Saudi bombing slaughters Yemeni children; massive malnutrition in Yemeni children; cholera sweeping Yemen

And this bugdget has been approved b "our" Senate while:

Fires blaze out of control in the Western US, while floods and storms ravage the South and West because the American infrastructure has been allowed to rot; homeless Vets sleep rough in our streets; homelessness and disease ravage this country; our alleged education system is simply a system of inidoctrination only; and jobs continue to be offshored and outsourced, destroying what was left of the middle class.

So do not believe, for one moment, that your "alleged Congressional Representatives" really represent you; at this point in this country's history, they represent only the interests of those corporations like those corporations named above, and this budget is to keep them financially flush, and well fed, just as they keep overt and covert campaign contributions "flowing" to the members of Congress who approve budgets like this.

FREEDOM IS A MYTH: WE ARE ALL PRISONERS OF THE POLICE STATE’S PANOPTICON VILLAGE

First broadcast in Great Britain 50 years ago, The Prisoner—a dystopian television series described as “James Bond meets George Orwell filtered through Franz Kafka”—confronted societal themes that are still relevant today: the rise of a police state, the freedom of the individual, round-the-clock surveillance, the corruption of government, totalitarianism, weaponization, group think, mass marketing, and the tendency of humankind to meekly accept their lot in life as a prisoner in a prison of their own making.

Perhaps the best visual debate ever on individuality and freedom, The Prisoner (17 episodes in all) centers around a British secret agent who abruptly resigns only to find himself imprisoned, monitored by militarized drones, and interrogated in a mysterious, self-contained, cosmopolitan, seemingly tranquil retirement community known only as the Village. The Village is an idyllic setting with parks and green fields, recreational activities and even a butler.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This scenario has a familiar ring to it, doesn't it?!?

Because post 9/11, any attempt - even the most peaceful - to relay the truth about what is happening with our country, our world, and the potential future of freedom is repressed, digitized, surveilled, and severely culled by those in the Bowels of Power in the Occupied, Unhinged Surveilled States of of Amerika.

Yes, I am a Christian pacifist activist who consistently exhorts her country's government to achieve its geopolitical objectives through hard-won, honest, moral negotiations, rather than through war.

For that, I get thoroughly criticised, ignored and shunned.

And yet, I have to believe that there will be a point in this country's future, when war has proven a desolate, bitter, and horrific disappointment, as a means to an end, when my gentle, reasonable voice may yet still be heard.

And that is why I keep posting, because I do care about the future of this country and the that of the world.

We have some wonderful extended family, with three grand nephews and one grand niece, so I have to keep thinking; what kind of a world will my, and our, choices leave them?!?

Will it be a place of plenty; of health; enjoying the benefits of science and technology, and will it be a place where one has the freedom to speak one's mind, where love abounds??

Or will the world we leave them a completely dystopian replica of "1984", with "thought Police", reading those "double ungood thoughts", and proscribing drugs, torture, or something even worse, to get rid of them?!?

Mo Mana, Mo Problems: Mueller Reportedly Plans To Indict Manafort

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team reportedly advised former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort that they plan to indict him after a July raid of his home in Alexandria, Va.

The New York Times reports that prosecutors and investigators under Mueller’s command warned Manafort that they plan to bring an indictment against him to a grand jury. The report is sourced to two individuals close to the investigation. Though The Times is not specific as to the nature of the charges, Manafort is under investigation for possible violations of tax laws and failure to abide by disclosure requirements relating to his lobbying work for Kremlin-aligned governments in eastern Europe.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It will be interesting to see to what level Manafort will be the "Sacrificial Lamb" in these investigations.

And yet... no forensic accounting investigations into Clinton Foundation; I would suspect that this will never happen.

In Catalonia: A Spanish Tiananmen Square?

One of those crises that no one saw coming is about to rear its head in a very unlikely locale: Catalonia, Spain’s richest province, where the local government has scheduled an independence referendum on October 1.

Catalonia has long been a cash cow for the Madrid regime: the province is by far the richest in the country, and contributes much more to the national budget than it receives. With 16 percent of Spain’s population, the region produces 25 percent of the nation’s exports, hosts 23 percent of industry – and receives 11 percent of government expenditures. This essentially parasitic relationship perhaps accounts for the fierce resistance to the secession movement by the rather shaky regime of conservative Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

Florida Power and Light lobbyists made it illegal to use solar during outages

Florida Power and Light's grid did not fare well under Hurricane Irma, despite the company's assurances that it had spent billions hardening its systems after 90% of its customers lost power to 2005's Hurricane Wilma.

But one thing has changed since 2005: solar. Many of the FPL customers who are living through dangerous heat without power now have solar panels on their roofs that could keep them going while FPL repairs its infrastructure. Except doing so is illegal, thanks to FPL's lobbyists, who literally ghost-wrote much of Florida's dreadful solar rules.

In "Warning To Pyongyang", B-1B Bombers, F-35s Hold Mock Bombing Drills

Both Haley and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson appeared on the Sunday talk shows to stress – using language that’s ringing increasingly hollow - that the administration wouldn’t hesitate to authorize a military response to the North should diplomacy fail.

And to demonstrate that, four US F-35 stealth fighters and two B-1B bombers conducted another round of "mock bombing exercises" over the Korean peninsula on Monday, according to Reuters. The US aircraft, which were joined by four South Korea F-15K fighter jets, returned to their bases in Japan and Guam after the exercise, but the latest demonstration of western capabilities likely assures that Kim Jong Un, who views such exercises in the same way the international community views his missile launches, will seek to retaliate with his own show of force.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unless President Trump is willing to kill millions of South Koreans, courtesy of North Korea's conventional arms poised against it, there is precious little he can do, militarily, against the country.

North Korea Warns More Sanctions Will Only Accelerate Its Completion Of A Nuclear Force

In the ongoing game of escalating verbal ping-pong, North Korea responded on Monday to the latest condemnation by the UN Security Council which responded to Pyongyang Friday missile launch with a harsly worded verbal rebuke, and warned that the more sanctions pursued by the US and its allies, "will only increase our pace towards the ultimate completion of the state nuclear force,” KCNA reported, citing ministry of foreign affairs.

The latest sanctions represent “the most vicious, unethical and inhumane act of hostility to physically exterminate the people of the DPRK, let alone its system and government,” a foreign ministry spokesman said, as cited by Reuters.

The North Korean statement also said that “it is a foolish dream to hope that the sanctions could work with the DPRK while the sanctions have failed to stop it from becoming a full-fledged nuclear weapons state and making rapid progress in the building of an economic power for more than half a century.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is not a question of what Kim Jung Un says he is going to do; it is a question of what he is willing to do.

And understanding that Mike and I live on a first-strike target the Chinese can actually hit, that makes us....more than a little nervous.

Will The US Bomb? First Images Of Syrian Army Crossing The Euphrates River In Deir Ezzor

The airspace over Deir Ezzor is now growing exponentially more dangerous as there are substantial rumors that the US coalition has declared a no fly zone (NFZ) over the north side of the Euphrates. In the meantime, Syrian and Russian air operations in the area will only increase with Deir Ezzor military airport's returning to full service.

The Syrian Army was capable today of crossing the Euphrates River after fully recapturing Sakr Island located to the north of Deir Ezzor Airbase.

Heavy Russian and Syrian airstrikes have pushed ISIS militants away from the eastern bank, paving the way for the government troops to set foot in the eastern bank for the first time in years.

With crossing the river, the government forces are inching closer to re-take the remaining territories under ISIS control. However, this will also put the Syrian forces face to face with the US-backed Kurdish forces; which launched its own offensive against the Islamic State in Deir Ezzor.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF, in fact, these reports are true, things could get nasty between Russia and the US military very quickly.

In the meantime, Syrian and Russian air operations in the area will only increase with Deir Ezzor military airport's returning to full service.

Other Middle East monitoring groups as well as regional correspondents have also confirmed the breaking news which could lead to a fresh outbreak of direct hostilities between the US-SDF alliance and Syria-Russia alliance:

New U.S. Law Blurs the Line Between Hate Speech and Hate Crime

I am just as uncomfortable with the notion of defining and singling out “hate speech” as some sort of new danger or threat or harmful activity or crime, to be dealt with by government or courts of law as I was 11 years ago with the idea of “hate crime”. Trump and Netanyahu ready united assault against Iran nuclear deal

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu will meet in New York on Monday, at the start of a week in which they intend to launch a concerted assault at the United Nations against the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.

While anxiety about Iran’s expansive role in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon is widely shared, Trump and Netanyahu’s antipathy to the multilateral deal agreed in Vienna two years ago binds them together, even as it sets them apart from the overwhelming majority of other world leaders attending the annual UN summit.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If you had any questions on what foreign government actually runs Middle Eastern US foreign policy, wonder no more.

Everytime these guys get to gether, I become extraordinarily nervous.

I hope President Trump understands that precisely what Tel Aviv wants him to do, is to create an atmosphere which makes it so impossible for Iran to stay in the P5+1, that they will have to abandon it, and will, of course, resune their nuclear program.

That, in turn, will create "regime change" fervor, and be whipped into a frenzy of demonisation against Iran, so that when such a break from this treaty happens, (courtesy of the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled States of America), that war will again be touted as "the only way" to handle this alleged "rogue nation."

Mr. President, I wish to politely, but strongly caution you at this moment, right after you have just met with Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu: the guy is crazy for regime change in Tehran, but only at the costs of American blood and American money.

Kindly keep that in mind, please.

63-minute video: National school safety expert Wolfgang Halbig explains the evidence he sees that Sandy Hook was a scripted false flag event, going to court on Nov. 15th in $55 million ‘parent’ lawsuit that might reveal the truth

*hyperlinks/videos live at source*

I wrote on this topic in 2014, and recently contributed that the average age giving birth of 36 for the 20 women claiming to be the victims’ mothers have probabilities against such relatively elderly mothers from 109 quintillion to one if we embrace national data that just one in eleven mothers would be 35 or older giving birth, to an extremely unrealistic 95 trillion to one if we assume one in 5 Sandy Hook mothers would be 36 or older giving birth (see article and comments for analysis). Another person with academic and professional expertise with statistical analysis concluded the odds of 20 such elderly mothers is 62, 482, 742, 574, 637, 216, 553 to one (that’s 62 quintillion to one), and it is 812 million times more likely that the alleged victims were born in 1996 rather than 2006 (the “official” story).

The above links have abundant other areas of proof.

From Prophesy to Reality – Government Prediction of 30 Year Terror Campaign Comes to Life

The partial explosion of a homemade bomb on a packed underground commuter train in southwest London on Friday morning has moved a prediction just six months ago by the UK’s government, of a terrorism offensive to match that of the 30 year long IRA campaign that killed and injured thousands – to reality. In the meantime, as one would expect in Britain, another huge police and intelligence operation began and then ended with calls for ever greater losses of civl liberties.

The government called a meeting of its COBRA emergency committee before anything was known about the incident. Later that afternoon Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May announced in a televised statement that the threat level was being raised to critical for an undefined period.

Webmaster's Commentary:

First, prayers for those who were hurt, their friends, and their families.

But that being said, one has to ask; if, as has happened a number of times in the US, UK, and France, and the perps were known to the police and security agencies, why were they not picked up and questioned, and ultimately tried under the rule of law?!?

Fear makes people more vulnerable to having their freedoms curtailed, so I simply cannot rule out that some attacks have been allowed to move forward for just that reason; to strangle civil society with more and more draconian laws and edicts with dictatorial impunity.

Bangladesh warns Myanmar over border amid refugee crisis

Bangladesh has accused Myanmar of repeatedly violating its air space and warned that any more “provocative acts” could have “unwarranted consequences”, raising the risk of a deterioration in relations already strained by the Rohingya refugee crisis.

Nearly 400,000 Rohingya Muslims from western Myanmar have crossed into Bangladesh since Aug. 25, fleeing a Myanmar government offensive against insurgents that the United Nations has branded a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing”.

Bangladesh said Myanmar drones and helicopters had violated its air space three times - on Sept. 10, 12 and 14 - and it had called in a top Myanmar embassy official in Dhaka to complain.

“Bangladesh expressed deep concern at the repetition of such acts of provocation and demanded that Myanmar takes immediate measures to ensure that such violation of sovereignty does not occur again,” the ministry said in statement late on Friday.

“These provocative acts may lead to unwarranted consequences.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

From an east/west forum article, created in 2013, we find the following information:

The military governments fought long running wars against ethnic armed groups struggling for self-determination and independence. These conflicts inflicted a heavy toll, both in terms of casualties and the creation of large refugee populations. The armed conflicts have held back development in ethnic minority areas.

Myanmar is heavily dependent on natural resources and for decades the military governments exploited natural resources with almost complete disregard of the socio-economic impact on the local population. Concessions were granted to unethical international partners to extract timber, jade and mineral resources without even basic transparency of earnings. Due to this poor record, the Revenue Watch Institute ranked Myanmar as having the worst resource governance among 58 countries studied.

Resource rich ethnic states have been targeted for predatory resource extraction, which has served to perpetuate the animosity towards successive military governments. While the latest 2010 estimate puts the national poverty headcount at 26 per cent, rates are far higher among many of the minority groups. It is noteworthy that three out of the four poorest areas are ethnic minority states. The incidence of poverty in Chin State alone is almost three times the national average. This suggests a vicious cycle whereby conflict holds back development and under-development in itself feeds a sense of relative deprivation.

So I have to speculate: what about the natural resources existing in the Rakhine state?!? Are they worth the creation of a texbook ethnic cleansing campaign against the Rohingya people, in order to clear them out, before some natural resouce can be revealed and extracted for its monetary value to the Myanmar state, from which the Rohingya will never be allowed to profit?!?

Nikki Haley Meltdown: Assad Must Go… and War With North Korea!

There must be something about being named US Ambassador to the UN that brings out the inner mass murderer in people. Madeline Albright famously admitted that she thought 500,000 dead Iraqi children due to US sanctions was “worth it.” John Bolton never met a disagreement he didn’t want to turn into a war. Samantha Power barked about human rights while her Administration’s drones snuffed out human life in unprecedented numbers. The real “butcher of the Balkans” Richard Holbrooke sold the Yugoslavia war on lies. John “Death Squad” Negroponte sold the lie that Saddam Hussein needed to be killed and his country destroyed for democracy to flourish, and so on.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Right now, Ambassador Haley behaves like the alleged adult (yet emotionally infantile) "poster child", representing every single Deep State Member in the Occupied, Unhinged Surveilled States of Amerika, who never saw a potential war into which they wouldn't love to see the US get dragged in.

The purpose of the UN is that of promoting peace, and creating ways of ratcheting down international tensions; what Ambassador Haley is attempting to do is quite the opposite, and that President trump hasn't had her sacked, for being an absolute embarrassment to the US's world credibility (if, in fact, we have any left) concerns me greatly.

US to Expand Kabul Green Zone, Gearing Up for Another Decade of Occupation

President Trump’s commitment last month to escalate the Afghan War has the US looking at ambitious new schemes for the occupation in the years and decades to come. Among the first such moves is a major “public works” project in the capital of Kabul.

Kabul has a disastrously poor security history throughout the US occupation, but security is somewhat better in the Green Zone. The plan, then, is for the Pentagon to greatly expand the Green Zone to encompass a lot more of the city, including most of the Western embassies.

In the near-term, the idea is to improve security around the US Embassy, and end the current situation, where helicopters are constantly ferrying people too and from the embassy because that’s the only way to safely get people there. What is means in the long run is less clear.

Turkey Masses Troops, Armored Vehicles Along Syrian Border

In a move rebel officials say is part of the de-escalation deal reached at Astana peace talks, Turkey has begun massing troops and armored vehicles along the Syrian border. The deployments include multiple different convoys heading to different border crossings.

The vehicles were mostly armored personnel carriers, but also included some tanks. Turkey, Russia, and Iran have agreed to set up new de-escalation zones for the next six months to try to facilitate more peace talks.

Turkey is expected to control parts of the Idlib Province under this deal, which stands to be a very complicated process, both because of the large number of rival Islamist rebels packed therein, and especially because the Nusra Front says they don’t intend to de-escalate.

Haley: UN Out of Options on North Korea: Says She Is 'Perfectly Happy' With Having Pentagon Attack North Korea

US Ambassador Nikki Haley declared the UN Security Council to have “run out of options” for dealing with the “North Korea problem,” in comments made during an interview on CNN’s State of the Union show. She talked up a shift to unilateral US military options.

Haley insisted that the US has “a whole lot of military options on the table,” and that President Trump’s threat to give North Korea “fire and fury” was not an empty threat. She went on to say that if the US uses any military options “North Korea will be destroyed. And we all know that. And none of us want that.”

Despite saying she didn’t want that in this segment of her comments, the ambassador also said in the course of her comments she is “perfectly happy” to see the North Korea issued referred to the Pentagon to be solved by Defense Secretary James Mattis.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ambassador Haley, a word, please: what the UN has run out of are intelligent options with the North Korean nuclear issue.

The refusal of Tillerson to negotiate with North Korea, prior to its thinking about denuclearization, was a deliberate effort to prevent any kind of dialogue which could have ratched down the tensions across the North Korean peninsula; Tillerson understood that when he did it.

U.S. Opens Door to Talks With North Korea, While Flexing Military Muscle

By making this statement, asking North Korea to do what he knew North Korea was entirely unwilling to do, seeing what happened to two world leaders when they did denuclearise: and those guys were Saddam Hussein, And Moamar Ghadaffi; both countries were regime changed, and both leaders were assassinated.

So what you, Madame Embassador, believe the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled States of Amerika is left with is the pig-headedly, ham-fistedly stupid US unilateral option of a decap strike on North Korean.

As reported at quora.com:

Nuclear Deterrence - While North Korean nuclear weapons and missiles are relatively rudimentary, they nonetheless pose a threat. For example, what would happen if an invasion force gets completely obliterated by nuclear weapons? Or even worse, if North Korea decides to launch nuclear missiles at South Korea or Japan. Given the extremely high population densities, hundreds of thousands could die and leave East Asia devastated by the fallout.

Oh, and Madame Secretary did you happen to overlook the memo from the Chinese government regarding what it would do if the US strikes first against North Korea?!?

China pledges neutrality unless the US strikes North Korea First

Frankly, Madam Ambassador, I would strongly suggest that you take the Chinese government at their word on this threat/promise.

VENEZUELA HAS OFFICIALLY ABANDONED THE PETRODOLLAR – DOES THIS MAKE WAR WITH VENEZUELA MORE LIKELY?

History has shown that when the status of the petrodollar is threatened, the U.S. is swift to take action.

And it is very interesting to note that President Trump will be meeting with Latin American leaders next week, and the main topic for discussion will be “the Venezuela crisis”…

U.S. President Donald Trump has invited three Latin American leaders to dine with him next week in New York as he seeks to address the Venezuela crisis and build bridges with the region after an acrimonious start with neighbor Mexico.

The political and economic turmoil in Venezuela, source of 10 percent of the oil consumed by the United States, will almost certainly top the agenda when he receives the center-right presidents of Peru, Colombia and Brazil at Trump Tower on Monday evening, diplomats said.
Could this latest move by Venezuela be enough to potentially spark a military conflict?

"The guys over at Zero Hedge seem to think so…

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US government, practically, cannot afford to be supporting any more wars than it already has on its plate, and they can barely afford the continuing wars in Somalia; Libya; Iraq; Afghanistan; and Yemen.

I do hope and pray that the Deep State triumverate at the White House, which consists of Mc Master, Kelly, and Mattis, are not quietly suggesting to President Trump that a war against Venezuela (in retaliation for its dumping the dollar) is a war that the US military can actually win, when the US military is already pulled in a zillion directions by the existing wars from which it cannot, years on, extricate itself with anything which approximately resembles victory.

D’Souza: The Left Isn’t Just Tearing Down History, They’re Rewriting It

Bestselling author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza spoke with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam regarding the left’s assault on monuments, including protesters who recently shrouded a statue of Thomas Jefferson at the University of Virginia in black.

D’Souza said it’s important for conservatives to realize that it isn’t merely about taking down history, as some have claimed. “That’s actually not what they’re up to,” he said.

“They’re not merely taking down history. They’re trying to promote their own very selective reading of history,” he went on.

ARE FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE THE NEW COLONIAL POWERS?

To qualify as colonial powers, Facebook and Google must effectively limit the choices and power of users, and punish or coerce those who question or resist their power.

I was struck by a phrase from a recent essay on advertising and social media,You Are the Product:As Taplin points out, that remark 'unwittingly revealed a previously unspoken truth: Facebook and Google are the new colonial powers.'

As you've no doubt noticed, the dominance of Facebook and Google in online advertising is now "in the news" for a variety of reasons: the possibility that agents of other governments influenced U.S. elections with media buys on Facebook; anti-trust concerns; the potential for these advert-tech giants to effectively silence legitimate online voices under the guise of limiting "fake news", and of course, the ongoing issues of click fraud and the underperformance of digital ads.

SENATE CAMPAIGN FACES SCRUTINY OF STRATEGIST’S WORK FOR SAUDIS

A U.S. Senate campaign faces controversy after the Boston Herald published a story on a key strategist’s participation in a Saudi lobbying campaign against the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA).

Massachusetts state representative Geoffrey Diehl, who is running for the 2018 Republican nomination to oppose incumbent senator Elizabeth Warren, hired Holly Robichaud to serve as a campaign strategist. 28Pages.org previously reported that Robichaud, a political consultant and columnist for the Boston Herald, registered in October 2016 as an agent of the Saudi government.

JASTA cleared the way for 9/11 victims and insurers to sue the kingdom for its alleged support of the September 11 attacks. Robichaud was among some 70 political influencers across the nation pressed into service by Qorvis MSLGroup as the firm scrambled to unleash a broad attack on JASTA on behalf of Saudi Arabia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

During this campaign, Geoffrey Diehl needs to be asked hard questions regarding the joint commision of war crimes by Saudi and US troops in Yemen.

And please do mention that:

1. Saudi troops have methodically killed, and maimed for life, innocent Yemeni children, women, and the medically fragile elderly with their bombing runs.

Yemeni children killed and maimed for life from Saudi bombing runs in Yemen

2. Saudi troops have closed all Yemeni ports, so no food can get in. Now, Yemeni children are starving to death from malnutrition.

Images: children dead and dying from the consequences of malnutrition

3. With starvation comes disease, so cholera has swept up hundreds of thousands in an epidemic of huge proportions.

You may want to ask Diehl if the cholera was weaponised, courtesy of the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled States of America (The OUSSA, which is the only way I can refer to this country at this point in its history.)

4. The Saudi troops have used depleted uranium weapons, causing massive cancers, still births, and horrific birth defects in Yemeni children.

14 Cutting Edge Tech Firms Funded By The CIA

The CIA has its own investment capital firm called “In-Q-Tel,” and it’s been funding innovative tech firms for years. This is both good news and bad. One the one hand, it allows the CIA to invest in technologies they deem useful for the intelligence community; however, some of these technologies are a little creepy when it comes to personal space and privacy. In-Q-Tel has the ability to reach deep into the pockets of the U.S. government’s Black Budget, which is pretty hefty given that the Washington Post reported that a staggering $52.6 billion was set aside for Black Budget operations in fiscal year 2013. If you’re unfamiliar with the Black Budget program, that’s not very surprising; the entire point of the program is to keep these funds and the programs within it top secret.

FORMER FACEBOOK EXECUTIVE SAYS GOOGLE, FACEBOOK ARE ‘SURVEILLANCE STATES’

Even though he was once an executive at Facebook, Chamath Palihapitiya, CEO of Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings, favors investing in Amazon instead, he told CNBC's "Fast Money: Halftime Report" on Thursday.

President Donald Trump has been a critic of Amazon, tweeting his disdain for coverage from The Washington Post, which is a personal holding of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. But Palihapitiya said he thinks that Facebook and Google face more regulatory risk, given the many retailers that compete with Amazon.

"Amazon is a microscopic portion of global consumption today, so ultimately I think it has more room to grow before it invites regulatory overview," Palihapitiya said. "On the other hand, Facebook and Google effectively are surveillance states. And they have so much personal, private information about so many citizens of so many countries."

Google has already had a tussle with regulators in Europe, after the company was slapped with a record fine in one investigation.

Soldiers drafted in and extra armed police on the streets as Theresa May raises terror level to CRITICAL after ISIS claim Tube bucket-bomb attack was carried out by a cell of several jihadis

Armed police have flooded London's streets as the terror threat level was raised to critical amid fears the Parsons Green bomber could strike again, Theresa May announced tonight.

The introduction of Operation Temperer will see soldiers replacing police at key sites including nuclear power plants to free up extra armed officers for regular patrols.

Scotland Yard said it is making 'excellent' progress in hunting the suspected terrorist who set off a crude bucket bomb on a packed commuter train by Parsons Green tube station in west London at 8.20am.
Mrs May said in a statement from Number 10: 'The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre has now decided to raise the national threat level from severe to critical - this means their assessment is that a further attack may be imminent.'

Minutes later Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley suggested there might have been more than one person involved, stating that police were 'chasing down suspects'.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Suddenly, “De-Dollarization” Is A Thing

For what seems like decades, other countries have been tiptoeing away from their dependence on the US dollar. China, Russia, and India have cut deals in which they agree to accept each others’ currencies for bi-lateral trade while Europe, obviously, designed the euro to be a reserve asset and international medium of exchange. These were challenges to the dollar’s dominance, but they weren’t mortal threats. What’s happening lately, however, is a lot more serious.

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden created so much transparency when he leaked information about the NSA’s mass surveillance programs. It makes you wonder, what else does a man like this know? Surely there are more facts he is aware of, but hasn’t revealed. This, however, has not stopped him from retweeting some interesting things over the past few years. One of the latest relates to the CIA’s connection with terrorist organization Al-Qaeda.

16 years later, the War on Terror™ has yielded hundreds of thousands of dead and injured Americans, Iraqis, and Afghans, ongoing and intractable wars disguised as nation building, the Patriot Act, illegal executive actions, trillions in new federal debt, vastly increased federal surveillance powers, rubber stamped FISA court warrants, TSA at the airports, a useless Department of Homeland Security, overflowing VA hospitals, and increasingly militarized police here at home. More importantly, it has yielded a distressing complacency toward grotesque federal power. -- It has not yielded peace, or liberty, or security. But liberty vs. security was never the choice.

Israel’s Foreign Agents Don’t Register, Why Should Russia’s?

Although RTs viewership in the United States is minuscule compared to major domestic broadcast and cable news outlets, over the years RT has made many enemies in Washington. The network’s slogan, "Question More," and financial resources allowed it to televise stories that US networks, under the perpetual threat of loss of "access" to newsmakers, boycotts and organized pressure campaigns, cannot. Nowhere was this more evident than RT’s relentless coverage of Israel and its US lobby. RT covered Benjamin Netanyahu’s connection to the Arnon Milchan nuclear trigger smuggling ring, the diversion of weapons grade uranium from a toxic plant in Pennsylvania to Israel, and details of a massive Israeli-lobby orchestrated propaganda campaign in the United States. A FARA order could mean RT’s departure from the American scene.

The central role of the military in deciding US foreign policy has its roots in the strategic decisions taken during the Obama-Clinton Presidency. Several policies were decisive in the rise of unprecedented military-political power.

Clearly the US has escalated the pivotal role of the military in the making of foreign and, by extension, domestic policy. The rise of ‘the Generals’ to strategic positions in the Trump regime is evident, deepening its role as a highly autonomous force determining US strategic policy agendas.

The Obama-Clinton legacy facing Trump was built around a three-legged stool: an international order based on military aggression and confrontation with Russia; a ‘pivot to Asia’ defined as the military encirclement and economic isolation of China – via bellicose threats and economic sanctions against North Korea; and the use of the military as the praetorian guards of free trade agreements in Asia excluding China.

The Obama ‘legacy’ consists of an international order of globalized capital and multiple wars. The continuity of Obama’s ‘glorious legacy’ initially depended on the election of Hillary Clinton.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am deeply disappointed in how quickly, and thoroughly, President Trump became compromised by his "Presidential Whisperers", Mc Masters, Mattis, and Kelly, and the roads to war, and potential ultimate American military defeat, upon which they are leading him.

Let us examine just where their advice may be leading this country, and I would politely suggest; this will not be in a positive direction.

Negotiations with North Korea are the only way to avoid a regional, if not a world war; the US has insisted that negotiations have failed, so will not renew them.

NATO continues to surround Russia with its troops; we could very quickly find the US and NATO at war with Russia.

The US and Israel have given an ultamatum to the Syrian government; Assad must go, alongside any Iranians: in light of the fact that Russia was invited by the Syrian government to assist it in clearing out the jihadis, there could be a military confrontation here also.

President Trump and Tillerson have accused Iran of "breaking the spirit of the P5+1 agreement", and are looking for a way to regime change Tehran; Russian military and political leaders have long said publicly, that should Iran get attacked, it will come to its aid mlitarily.

The US is backing Ukraine against Russia, and may be sending offensive weapons to them shortly; this is another way in which the US could get dragged into war with Russa.

Then, there is the back-and-forth issue with China's trade policies, and the US desire to cut down the value of the Yuan, so this government will do all things it deems necessary, including war, to make this happen.

These potential issues, coupled with a monstrous, unpayable deficit, makes the future of this country....questionable.

So please forgive me, if I am not optimistic for the future of this country; nothing looks good

UN Security Council Resolution 2375 on North Korea: Preparation for War?

This formula begins with sanctions under Chapter VII of the UN Charter: approximately eleven sanctions have been inflicted upon North Korea, and four presidential statements. The sanctions are, in themselves aggressive action, intended to weaken and demoralize the intended nation-targeted victim, and ultimately destroy the will, the spirit and unity of the nation. The now twelve sanctions on the DPRK are reminiscent of the words Richard Nixon used for the CIA engineered destruction of the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende in Chile:

“Make the economy scream!!”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US position, over decades, has forced Kim Jung Un and his predecessors into the only posture he believes will save his country; creating a creadible nuclear threat, in order to prevent regime change in Pongyang.

I cannot tell you precisely when this war will start; but China has already announced that if the US fires first, they will stand with North Korea.

That means that we are most likely looking at either a US/ South Korean decap strike against Kim Jung Un, or a false flag, to be blamed on North Korea, to get a military strike against it justified.

But either way, my sense of this is that it will come relatively quickly; within the next couple of months, perhaps.

What the US government dares not wait for, is for Kim to actually acquire or develop the nuclear weapon he wants to use as a threat against US intervention, so my sense is that the action will come sooner rather than later.

Myanmar says U.S. official barred from Rohingya conflict zone

Myanmar said on Friday a visiting U.S. official would not be allowed to go to a region where violence has triggered an exodus of nearly 400,000 Rohingya Muslims that the United Nations has branded a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing”.

The Rohingya have fled from western Rakhine state to neighboring Bangladesh to escape a military offensive that has raised questions about Myanmar’s transition to civilian rule under the leadership of Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi.

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Patrick Murphy will voice Washington’s concerns about the Rohingya and press for greater access to the conflict area for humanitarian workers, the State Department said.

Myanmar officials said he would meet government leaders in the capital, Naypyitaw, and attend an address to the nation by Suu Kyi on Tuesday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

If there is nothing going on here, why is the Myanmar government so terrified of letting this guy into the western Rakhine state?!?

Israel’s Foreign Agents Don’t Register, Why Should Russia’s? Can Russia Use Israel Lobby Tactics To Skirt FARA Order?

The Department of Justice has ordered Russia’s U.S.-based RT news network to begin registering as Russian foreign agents under the 1938 Foreign Agents Registration Act. The law requires US-based agents of foreign principals to disclose financial information and activities in regular public filings overseen by a designated DOJ office. Over the years FARA has been amended to exclude bona fide news organizations. The Department of Justice order breaks a long period of unfettered access to the U.S. by foreign press agencies, many directly and indirectly financed by foreign governments.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I personally have a great respect for the veracity of rt.com, and - as readers of this blog know - link to it frequently, because you do get information you just don't get from the US corporate presstitutes, and whorespondents.

They seem to be fact-centric, rather than narrative-centric, which I heartily applaud.

I do hope that they learn from the experience of the Israeli lobby how to equivocate, stall/ delay; get some kind of special exemption; reconstitute; and offer to spy for the various alphabet soup agencies here in the US.

rt.com is one of my "canaries in the coal mine, along with presstv.com (an Iranian outlet in English); sputniknews.com; and farsnews.com (another Iranain outlet in English).

If any of these are offline, meaning their English language blogs are unreachable, I would figure that something big, and nasty, is about to go down, in terms of yet another US preemptive war, fought to defend its economic hegemony.

Gallup Poll: US Majority Backs Attacking North Korea

A new poll from Gallup shows that a majority of Americans, 58%, are in favor of attacking North Korea militarily if the US “cannot accomplish its goals by more peaceful means first.” Americans were split more or less evenly on whether sanctions and diplomacy could work.

This is the first time Gallup has asked about attacking North Korea since 2003. At the time, only 47% favored an attack. The shift in the last 14 years appears to have been greatly along political lines, with an overwhelming 82% of Republicans now backing war, compared to just 37% of Democrats.

The possibility of such an attack has been discussed a lot more this year than any time in decades. Repeated North Korean tests have been presented as a growing threat to the US mainland, with the Trump Administration declaring diplomacy a failure from the start.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looking at this response, I can only conclude that Gallup was either push polling, working in zip codes where a positive outcome to such a question is assured, or polling the criminally insane, or both.

Don't these nincompoops comprehend that if the US shoots first, China will protect North Korea, and a war against China right now is a war we most probably cannot win?!?

These must be the graduates of Common Core, with lots... of participation trophies, but absolutely zero critical thinking capabilites!

Enrollment drops at schools known for ‘social justice warfare’

Universities known for being hotbeds of campus protest and liberal activism are struggling with declining enrollments and budget shortfalls, and higher education analysts say that’s no coincidence.

Take Oberlin College. According to a document leaked to The Oberlin Review, the school’s student newspaper, the small liberal arts college famous for social justice hoaxes has had trouble attracting and retaining students, missing this year’s enrollment mark by 80 and racking up a $5 million budget deficit in the process.

William A. Jacobson, a professor at Cornell Law School who runs the Legal Insurrection blog, said the “most obvious culprit” in Oberlin’s dwindling admissions is “relentless social justice warfare.”

Senator Rand Paul is to be commended for forcing his colleagues to address the endless wars in the Middle East and proposing that they sunset the 2001 and 2002 AUMF (Authorization for Use of Military Force). This past week, Senator Paul incisively observed in multiple addresses before the Senate body that lawmakers have not debated the topic of war for sixteen years, despite the fact the US constitution vests the war powers of the United States of America not in the president but in the US Congress, the legislative, not the executive branch of government. The Congress may have granted the president to take the nation to war in the cases of Afghanistan and Iraq, but they never explicitly authorized five of the seven wars currently underway.

US Plan for New Afghan Force Poses Threat to Civilians

The Pentagon and the Afghan government, in a move intended to increase the size of Afghan security forces without spending too much money, are poised to approve a new irregular combat force, with estimates it could number in excess of 20,000 fighters.

Both groups have dispatched delegations to India to examine the structure of the Indian Territorial Army, an irregular force created for deployment in certain areas where the regular military’s presence would be unpopular.

Afghans are unlikely to welcome this idea, however, because the US already tried this once with the establishment of the Afghan Local Police (ALP), a militia force made up of US-funded warlords given police powers and little to no oversight. Unsurprisingly, this quickly became a flurry of extortion rackets and other widespread abuse.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Spotlight: Kurdish parliament approves independence referendum on Sept. 25

The parliament of the semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan on Friday approved the independence referendum to be held on Sept. 25.
All the 65 lawmakers attending the session of the 111-seat regional parliament voted in favor of holding the referendum on the independence of the Kurdish region and the disputed areas.

The parliament also decided to invite relevant parties, including Kurdistan's Independent High Elections and Referendum Commission, to conduct the referendum.

According to Tariq Jowahar, parliament media advisor, the session was chaired by the deputy speaker, as Speaker Yousif Mohammed Sadiq did not attend the session since his Gorran Movement is boycotting the session along with the Kurdistan Islamic Group.

Kaka Bashar, a Kurdish lawmaker from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), said he regretted that some of the lawmakers boycotted the parliament session, particularly the Gorran Movement, and hoped they will take part in the coming session.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There will probably be a massive, bloody civil war in both Iraq and Syria, in preparation for the existence of an independent Kurdistan, but that is of no matter to those in the Bowels of Power in the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled States of Amerika; Kurdistan will concentrate the oil revenues, and the OUSSA can guarantee a Wesetern-centric government, and an absolute certainty that this oil will only be sold for US dollars.

European Court of Justice Says Member States Can't Ban GMOs Unless Risks Proven

The European Court of Justice has ruled EU Member States cannot adopt emergency measures to ban genetically modified organisms and/or foods without evidence they pose a "serious risk" - although it only serves to make EU rules on GMOs all the more opaque and confusing.

The European Court of Justice ruled September 13 that Member States cannot adopt emergency measures banning genetically modified organisms (GMOs) without evidence of a "serious risk to health or the environment" — although the ruling contradicts European Union legislation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Rulings like this can be bought and paid for; I wonder how much this cost companies like Monsanto!!

Hillary’s New Book Now Has A Rating Of 4.9 Out Of 5 Stars (After Hundreds Of 1 Star Reviews Were Deleted)

Hillary Clinton’s new book entitled “What Happened” is the hottest selling book in America at this moment, and thanks to the deletion of approximately 800 one star reviews, the remaining reviews make it sound like it is a masterpiece. As I write this article, “What Happened” currently has an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars on Amazon. Of course just like Clinton’s campaign, that rating is completely fraudulent, but if this really is Hillary’s “final chapter” I think that it is somehow appropriate that she goes out this way. The Clintons were frauds from the very beginning, and so a fake rating for a book full of lies about a campaign run by con artists is just par for the course.

Judicial Watch: Clinton Emails Reveal Mishandling of Classified Information

“The emails show ‘what happened’ was that Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin obviously violated laws about the handling of classified information and turned the State Department into a pay for play tool for the corrupt Clinton Foundation,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The clear and mounting evidence of pay for play and mishandling of classified information warrant a serious criminal investigation by an independent Trump Justice Department.”

UN List of Companies Linked to Illegal Settlements in Occupied Palestine, to be Published Despite Israeli, US Pressure

According to a report published Tuesday by Israel’s Channel 2, the full list will be published in December, and will include some of the biggest firms in the Israeli industry as well as major US companies, a translation of the report from Times of Israel said.

Some of the international companies on the list reportedly include Coca-Cola, TripAdvisor, Airbnb, Priceline, and Caterpillar, in addition to Israeli companies such as pharmaceutical giant Teva, the national phone company Bezeq, bus company Egged, the national water company Mekorot, and the country’s two largest banks, Hapoalim and Leumi.

The list was recently delivered to the Foreign Ministry, the report said.

Last year, the United Nations Human Rights Council passed a resolution to support forming a database of all companies conducting business in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, amid fierce opposition by the United States and Israel.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Good; it is darn well about time for these companies to be named and shamed.

Swindling Futurity — Jim Quinn on on why Jefferson was right.

Yesterday the government reported a “modest” August budget deficit of $108 billion. That’s one month folks. This is another example of how the government and their mainstream media mouthpieces portray horrifically bad, extremely abnormal financial data as normal and expected. They pretend everything that has happened since 2008 is just standard operating procedure. They follow the Big Lie theory to the extreme. The masses have been so dumbed down, desensitized, and taught to believe delusions, they can’t distinguish the abnormal from the normal.

Iraqi parliament votes to remove kirkuk governor from office: lawmakers

Iraq’s parliament voted on Thursday to remove the governor of Kirkuk from office following a request from Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, according to several lawmakers who attended the vote.

The decision to remove the governor, Najmaddin Kareem, comes after Kirkuk - an oil-rich province claimed by both the central government in Baghdad and the autonomous Kurdish region in northern Iraq - decided to take part in a referendum set for Sept. 25 on Kurdish independence.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And, following this story, comes the next troubling headline, regarding the fractious state of Iraq:

Iraqi Kurd President says ties with Baghdad are Cut over Sacking of Kirkuk Governer

So, when this comes to a military dustup between the Kurds and the Iraqis, over what has been traditionally Iraqi soil since 1923, where does the US government come in?!? How do they back the Kurds without causing a civil war between the Kurds and Iraqis over this?!?

The short answer is, the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled States of America cannot possibly back them without alienating the Iraqi leadership, big time.

Perhaps someone should have mentioned this possibility before the concept of an Independent Kurdistan, created to balkanize Iraq, was signed off on by the Pentagon, State Department, and White House.

Iraq could well have a new civil war on its hands, insuring a more permanent, and muscular, US troop strenth here.

But hey; this is all about Kirkuk's oil; who controls it is of no real interest to the Deep State in America, as long as the US gets to insure that all the oil in Kirkuk is controlled by US-centric corporations, and is only sold for the US dollar.

U.S. must consider broader Iran threats when formulating new strategy: Tillerson

The United States must consider the full threat it says Iran poses to the Middle East when formulating its new policy toward Tehran, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Thursday, adding that Iran had breached the spirit of a 2015 nuclear deal.

Tillerson, made the comments during a visit to Britain to see Prime Minister Theresa May and foreign minister Boris Johnson. The trip was billed as focusing on the relief effort after Hurricane Irma, how to respond to North Korea’s nuclear test, and resolving the political deadlock in Libya.

But he was outspoken in his criticism of Iran when asked whether he believed it was meeting the obligations of a 2015 international nuclear agreement designed to curb an Iranian nuclear program in return for lifting most Western sanctions.

Tillerson cited the preface of the nuclear deal, which calls on Iran to contribute positively to regional security.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Secretary Tillersone, have you absolutely and completely gone barking-dog mad, in making these accusations against Iran?!?

They utterly defy logic.

And what do you mean when you state, with absolutely zero evidence, that "Iran had breached the spirit of a 2015 nuclear deal."

Sir, can you possibly please articulate the meaning of this accusation, using Mr. tougue and Mr. lips?!?

Because as far as I can see, there is no "there" here. It is a speciously meaningless accusation.

And to what specific allegations are you referring, regarding their "malicious" use of cyberactivities?!? You make this allegation, as though the US and the NSA isn't doing this kind of action, this 24/7 against countries we don't very much like.

And let's stop, please whining and moaning about Iran's "aggressively developing ballistic missiles"; as you well know, Secretary Tillerson, ballistic missiles were absolutely never a part of the P5+1 agreement to begin with.

Yes, the world knows that Israel has been cheerleading for regime change in Tehran for a very long time; but I would very, very much like you to think seriously of the broader imlications of such a US pre-emptive war against Iran.

And please understand; Israel wants regime change in this country, but only at the costs of American blood and American money.

And what, Secretary Tillerson, is Russia going to do when we invade Iran?!? Is the Duma going to hold hands, and collectively sing "Kuymbya"?!?!?

I think not, particularly in light of the reality that Russian military and civilian leadership has stated, time and time again, that should Iran be attacked, Russia will come to its aid mlitarily.

Are you really contemplating war with Russia over Iran?!?

Because the ultimate outcome of such a war may well be both catastrophic... and irreversible.

I would sincerely like to believe that these remarks about Iran were for foreign, rather than domestic, consumption, plumbing the depths of what the UK would be ready to do in participating in a US attack against Iran; because if you believe, sir, for one millisecond, that you have brought the American people on board for a war against Iran with these stupid accusations which have utterly no basis in fact, when we have been so lied to about the reasons for the wars in Libya, Afghanistan, and Iraq, you are very, badly mistaken.

The Latest: UN says 389,000 Rohingyas have fled in 3 weeks

Rohingya Muslims, who crossed over from Myanmar into Bangladesh, carry an elderly woman in a basket and walk towards a refugee camp in Shah Porir Dwip, Bangladesh, Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017. How NBA star Dennis Rodman came to stand between the world and nuclear war

Earlier this year Rodman’s agent said that his client helped convince North Korea to release American college student Otto Warmbier before his death. Now, nearly everyone else involved with Warmbier’s release has denied that Rodman had much to do with it, but the mere fact that he was in position to take credit is proof enough that he has become the unlikely face of US-North Korean relations. As North Korea expert Ken Gause said to Time that “he’s not the best ambassador we could have but it’s who we have.”

In just about any other situation, Gause would be correct in describing Rodman as an utterly inappropriate ambassador – as the man himself admits “[Kim and I] ride horses, we hang out, we go skiing, we hardly ever talk politics and that’s the good thing.” Rodman also fundamentally lacks the tact and restraint required in most diplomatic situations, and has a tendency to make events all about himself.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, we are past the point where Rodman could possibly do any real good, and as of 1 September, Americans are forbidden from going there; it appears that the Deep State of the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled State of Amerika is utterly ready to declare war on both North Korea...and the world.

Myanmar’s Military, Political Leaders United Against Rohingya ‘Threat’

Myanmar’s de facto political ruler, Foreign Minister Aung San Suu Kyi, and the military that long kept her party out of power, seem to be increasingly unified as international attention on the country shifts from its past troubles to the ongoing Rohingya crisis.

The Rohingya, mostly Muslim but also including a Hindu minority are stateless people, denied citizenship under Myanmar law. This puts them in a very difficult situation, where Myanmar’s ruling NLD Party considers them “illegal immigrants,” but by and large they aren’t from anywhere else.

High Ranking CIA Agent Blows Whistle On The Deep State And Shadow Government

Shipp had a series of slides explaining how the deep state and shadow government functions as well as the horrific crimes they are committing against U.S. citizens. Some of the revelations the former CIA anti-terrorism counter intelligence officer revealed included that “Google Earth was set up through the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency and InQtel.” Indeed he is correct, the CIA and NGA owned the company Google acquired, Keyhole Inc., paying an undisclosed sum for the company to turn its tech into what we now know as Google Earth. Another curious investor in Keyhole Inc. was none other than the venture capital firm In-Q-Tel run by the CIA according to a press release at the time.

Over 6,000 US Troops Set for Deployment to Afghanistan

Adding on to the 3,500 troop escalation already announced for the Afghan War, officials are now reporting that another 6,000-plus ground troops from Fort Carson are also slated for a future deployment to the country.

It’s part of the increasingly complicated way in which the US reports, or rather, doesn’t report, on troop levels and details in its ongoing wars. The report on the Fort Carson troops includes a lot of questions, including timing of deployment, and how many are new deployments,as opposed to replacing existing troops simply rotating out of the country.

Those are big questions, and there are simply no answers. The Pentagon isn’t officially confirming any of the details on this matter, and while those familiar say the deployment is likely to happen sometime in early 2018, even that is just speculation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sec-Def Mattis, a word, please: in this 16 year old war, where there have been episodic surges and drawdowns, how, in the name of Heaven, will this time be ... different?!?

The American people honestly deserve an intelligent, reasoned answer to this question from its leadership.

Because sir, I would like to politely remind you: doing something precisely the same way, over and over again, yet expecting a different outcome, is one of the classic definitions of insanity.

House backs $1.2T spending bill with more money for military

The Republican-led House on Thursday passed a sweeping $1.2 trillion spending bill that provides billions more dollars for the military while sparing medical research and popular community development programs from deep cuts sought by President Donald Trump.
The vote was 211-198 for the massive measure that wrapped the 12 annual spending bills into one in advance of the end of the budget year on Sept. 30. Even though the Senate still must act, the government will keep operating through Dec. 8, thanks to legislation Congress passed last week and sent to Trump.
House members spent the past two weeks debating the measure’s $500 billion for domestic agencies. GOP leaders then merged that domestic spending package with an earlier House measure that would give record budget increases to the Pentagon and provide a $1.6 billion down payment for Trump’s wall along the U.S.-Mexico border that he repeatedly has insisted Mexico would finance.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: it funds present and future wars of aggression to control, as far as possible, the tangible wealth of the entire planet, to which this country has absolutely no moral right.

Trump Extends Post-9/11 State of Emergency

President Trump has become the third president over the course of 16 consecutive years to extend the “temporary state of national emergency” which was imposed in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks.

The state of emergency gives the president considerable leeway to bypass legal limits surrounding the military and the use of the National Guard and reserve troops. Exactly how much this power is used is itself unclear, as presidents have for years ignored a legal requirement to offer reports to Congress every six months on the matter.

Officially, Presidents Bush, Obama, and now Trump have defended the extension on the grounds that terrorism still exists and is a thing. Legally speaking, however, the emergency declaration was intended to give the president flexibility until Congress had time to act after 9/11.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It was painfully predictable, from a President who steadfastly believes that "war is good for business", and that perpetual war is the only way for the Occupied Unhinged Serveilled States of Amerika can maintain its financial hegemony.

Yemen's Houthi leader says could target Saudi oil tankers if Hodeida attacked

Yemen's Houthi leader Abdel-Malek al-Houthi said on Thursday his group could target Saudi oil tankers should Saudi Arabia attack Yemen's main port at Hodeida.

"We could target Saudi oil tankers and we could do anything, we have not done this before," he said.

In a televised speech, the leader also said his group's ballistic missiles were capable of reaching the United Arab Emirates' capital of Abu Dhabi and anywhere inside Saudi Arabia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A couple of years ago, Saudi Arabia's Prince Salman must have thought that a military attack against Yemen, to eradicate the Shia Houthi rebels there, would be a "walk in the park" for the Saudi military.

However, thousands of deaths of innocents, and immesurable joint Saudi-US warcrimes later, coupled with successful attacks against Saudi Arabia proper, if he is in any way sane, he may just be thinking differently.

I have no way in which to estimate the Houthis' weapons capabilities; but this rhetoric demonstrates that they are in this battle for the long haul.

FBI PAID $100K+ FOR CONCOCTED TRUMP DOSSIER DURING ELECTION; JOHN MCCAIN HELPED BROKER CLASSIFIED DEAL WITH COMEY

FBI insiders say fired FBI Director James Comey and Andrew McCabe, deputy FBI director, used Bureau funds to underwrite the controversial dossier on President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential election, sources confirm.

And the deal to dig dirt on a presidential candidate was put together with the help of Sen. John McCain, sources said.

These new revelations in fact might be the worst kept secrets in Washington, D.C. but now rank-and-file FBI agents want the Bureau to come clean on its relationship with the author of the problematic Trump dossier, former British spy Christopher Steele.

True Pundit first received intelligence from FBI sources in March that the Bureau had struck a financial deal with Steele in 2016.

Federal law enforcement agents have since divulged to True Pundit:

Steele was likely paid in the $100,000 range by the FBI for the research. Perhaps even more.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF these allegations are, in fact, true, they are a very depressing set of examples of people in power wanting to destroy the "outsider candidate, Trump, and stack the media and election against him, in favor of Clinton.

Every sordid character in this despicable action should be sacked, and given jail time for attempting to destroy what truth there is the democratic process in this country (which, unfortunately,is only a Kabuki-like remnent of its former self).

But, of course, these being members of the Occupied, Unhinged Surveilled Amerikan Deep State, that will most probably happen when hogs discover they are aerodynamic.

ISRAEL SECURITY FORCES ARE TRAINING AMERICAN COPS DESPITE HISTORY OF RIGHTS ABUSES

IT’S NOT UNCOMMON for residents of America’s most heavily policed neighborhoods to describe their local cops as “an occupying force.” Judging by where many U.S. police forces get their training, the description seems apt.

Thousands of American law enforcement officers frequently travel for training to one of the few countries where policing and militarism are even more deeply intertwined than they are here: Israel.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Occupation and dictatorship go hand in hand, as very much witnessed in Israel.

But forgive me, isn't this country supposed to be a democratic republic, or have I inadvertently confused it for some other enlightened county, where the will of the people actually translates into to the law of the land?!?

Oh, yes, I see now; this country, within the last 40 years, has morphed into the Unhinged, Surveilled States of Amerika, where independent thinking, and logical, non-violent criticism has been nearly snuffed out of most of its citizens to the point where perpetual war is the normal state of affairs, and hardly anyone speaks out against the atrocities and war crimes the USSA commits in the name of its global hegemony.

Perscription anti-depressants are both peddled, and consumed, at an alarming rate in the USSA; and fashion, computer games, and politics of utterly no real value for the average citizen of the USSA are sold to the American people just as the wars are sold to us by the corporate media presstitutes and whorespondents.

In the USSA, no dissenting, peaceful, logical voices should be heard; this is why Google is pushing down results of searches which neither tow the line demanded by the major corporations (which actually choose our allegedly "elected" officials) nor regurgitate the false narratives required by Deep State members of the Bowels of Power in this country to support their agenda.

And that agenda, right now, is perpetual war with which to defend Amerikan hegemony.

Welcome to the Occupied Unhinged Surveilled States of Amerika; and trust me, those who have studied Israeli policing will insure that occupation is martially maintained "with extreme prejudice."

SAUDI ARABIA CRACKS DOWN ON DISSENTING CLERICS AMID RUMORS OF CROWN PRINCE’S RISE TO THRONE

SAUDI ARABIA ARRESTED A trio of prominent clerics last weekend, a sign that the kingdom may be preparing for the formal ascendance of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, known as MBS, who is a key decision-maker on the country’s domestic and international affairs but is technically subservient to his father, King Salman.

Salman al-Odah, Awad al-Qarni and Ali al-Omary were arrested with little explanation over the weekend, but activists suspect that their failure to follow MBS’s hawkish line on Qatar played a role in their imprisonment.

Human rights activists told the Wall Street Journal that al-Odah’s arrest came after he declined to come out in support of the Saudi government’s actions against Qatar.

On September 8, al-Odah tweeted a fairly banal message hoping for reconciliation between the kingdom and Qatar. “May God harmonize between their hearts for the good of their people,” he wrote:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looks like the bloodlust of The Saudi Warlord, and Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman is pushing him, yet again, over the edge, and will soon declare war against Qatar.

What he has accomplished in Yemen, I am quite certain he wants to accomplish in Qatar:

Apple’s FaceID Could Be a Powerful Tool for Mass Spying

Law enforcement is rapidly increasing use of facial recognition; one in two American adults are already enrolled in a law enforcement facial recognition network, and at least one in four police departments have the capacity to run face recognition searches . But until now, co-opting consumer platforms hasn’t been an option. While Facebook has a powerful facial recognition system, it doesn’t maintain the operating systems that control the cameras on phones, tablets, and laptops that stare at us every day. Apple’s new system changes that. For the first time, a company will have a facial recognition system with millions of profiles, and the hardware to scan and identify faces throughout the world.

Google's depression tool could lead to dangerous over-treatment and addiction to antidepressants, expert warns

Professor warns that the tool will lead to over-diagnosis, over-prescribing and misuse of data.

He says Google worked with antidepressant drug-maker Pfizer to make quiz that gives false positives.

Others say the tool is low-risk, and in line with national efforts to screen for depression.

Google's screening tool that enables people to check online whether they are clinically depressed could do more harm than good, one expert has warned.
Last month, the tech giant released a self-assessment quiz, called the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), which pops up as a result for the search query 'Am I depressed?' on a computer or cell phone.

Google developed its test in partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) but one professor claims that the quiz could just lead to over-treatment of depression amid the US's opioid epidemic.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why am I not surprised here?!?!?
