Cancer Cases on Sharp Increase in Iraq's Al-Anbar after US Use of Banned Munitions

Medical authorities in al-Anbar province in Western Iraq report a sharp rise in the number of registered cases of cancer diagnosis as a result of the US military's use of banned munitions at the time of occupation.

"The radiation of prohibited ammunition used during the US occupation of Iraq is the most important cause for the heightened number of cancer patients in al-Anbar province," an oncologist in the province was quoted as saying by the Arabic-language Afaq news channel on Wednesday.

He noted that people in al-Anbar are facing different problems risen from the Americans' use of banned weapons and munitions, and said that cancer is a disease whose treatment is much costly, while people in the province cannot afford it, and even the few that could bear the huge expenses are facing shortage of cancer drugs.

The US troops used white phosphorus in the offensive in the Iraqi city of Falluja in 2004, the US said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"...very sparingly...", MY ASTROLABE!!

To be a citizen of a country with absolutely zero shame about using prohibited weapons, such as white phosphorous, when its ability to create cancer is undisputed, is a very bitter, and difficult, reality for thinking people who care about this country's future.

Color me one of those people.

Remember the way we were programmed, as kids, into believing that this country would never do something immoral, just for the sake of expediency?!?

These war crimes (and those still being committed, as in Yemen) make an absolute mockery of the concept of the US government as responsible, valuing human life, or moral; those running this government don't give rat's anus about anything over and above the financial outcome of these endless wars with which to protect its financial hegemony.

And when we know about such things happening as a result of US foreign policy, and do nothing, we are ultimately responsible for these war crimes, even if we didn't commit them ourselves, because we didn't have the courage to (peacefully and rationally) confront those who gave the orders to commit those crimes.

Now here's where I get myself kicked off Google/Blogger. Because I'm suggesting that CW 2 might be the least worst option facing America's Whites. Look at it this way. The way things are going Whites will become a voting minority in the not-too-distant future. When you consider what's been inflicted on them when they're the majority can you imagine what minority status would entail?

AFGHANISTAN WAR – THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY

Congress and especially Congressional leadership of both parties are all as guilty as the three lying Administrations. They were part of the big lie, falsely presenting to the American people as “expert” witnesses only those bought-and-paid-for Beltway neocon think tankers.

What is even more shocking than the release of this “smoking gun” evidence that the US government wasted two trillion dollars and killed more than three thousand Americans and more than 150,000 Afghans while lying through its teeth about the war is that you could hear a pin drop in the mainstream media about it. Aside from the initial publication in the Washington Post, which has itself been a major cheerleader for the war in Afghanistan, the mainstream media has shown literally no interest in what should be the story of the century.

SAUDI OIL ATTACK AND CHOREOGRAPHED PROTESTS IN IRAN-ALIGNED COUNTRIES:

In order to bring home the significance of the Persian Gulf’s oil in the energy-starved industrialized world, here are a few stats from the OPEC data: Saudi Arabia has the world’s largest proven crude oil reserves of 265 billion barrels and its daily oil production is 10 million barrels; Iran and Iraq each has 150 billion barrels reserves and has the capacity to produce 5 million barrels per day each; while UAE and Kuwait each has 100 billion barrels reserves and produces 3 million barrels per day each; thus, all the littoral states of the Persian Gulf, together, hold 788 billion barrels, more than half of world’s 1477 billion barrels proven oil reserves.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The government of Iran may be many things; stupid, however, is not one of them.

They understand that anything which even looks like some kind of attack against American/Israeli assets in the region, would be followed by a counterattack which would turn Tehran into molten glass.

This is also why, when any kind of attack happens in the Middle East or beyond, against American/Israeli assets (and I wouldn't bet against this, right now), you will know for certain, that Iran had no part in it.

Russia probe witness charged with funneling millions to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign

A businessman who helped broker a meeting between an ally of President Donald Trump and an official of the Russian government has been indicted for allegedly funneling millions in illegal campaign contributions to support Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

George Nader, who was charged in another case earlier this year with child trafficking and transporting child pornography, was one of seven people named in an indictment unsealed in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday night involving the campaign payments.

Nader, 60, is charged with funneling money to Ahmad “Andy” Khawaja, 48, of Los Angeles in order to circumvent federal election laws that restrict the amount of donations from a specific individual and where that money is actually coming from, prosecutors say.

George Nader was charged earlier this year with child trafficking and transporting child pornography.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder what the "quid pro quo" was with Hillary, in terms of what she promised Nader for the money.

NEW YORK FED PLANS TO THROW $2.93 TRILLION AT WALL STREET’S TRADING HOUSES OVER NEXT MONTH

SOURCE: RIGGED GAME
PAM MARTENS AND RUSS MARTENS OF WALL STREET ON PARADE.
One has to wonder how much money it would take for the New York Fed to throw at Wall Street before the New York Times reports to its readers on the biggest Wall Street bailout by the Fed since the financial crisis.

Last Thursday, December 12, the New York Fed announced that over the next month it would shower the trading houses (primary dealers) on Wall Street with a total of $2.93 trillion in short-term loans. The money is for a Wall Street liquidity crisis that has yet to be explained in credible terms to the American people and yet the New York Times does not appear to have an investigative reporter assigned to investigate what’s really going on just 11 years after those same trading houses blew themselves up in the biggest financial crash since the Great Depression and took the U.S. economy along for the ride.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As an individual who really tries to be frugal, the numbers being thrown around here, are almost dizzying, both in terms of magnitude, and what they mean for the American economy as a whole.

I am very deeply concerned about two issues here; first, the real possibility of a financial crash which would dwarf that which caused the American Great Depression of the 30s, and secondly, the reality that so far, the US government has gotten out of its financial straits through wars.

And have you noticed all the potential "boogie-man countries" recently against which the US media has been waving its collective warmongering digits ?

Let's see; there is China; Iran; Russia; and North Korea.

I would like to hope that all who want President Trump's first term in office to succeed, will share with him the following, butt-ugly reality here; The US military does not have the money; the weaponry; the manufacturing; or the troop strength, with which to win a war with any of the above-mentioned countries.

A war with North Korea almost guarantees a war with China; a war against Iran almost guarantees a war with Russia.

President Trump needs, desperately, to understand these very dark realities, and craft a foreign policy which moves as far away from war, as the American answer to these challenges, as he can possibly move that foreign policy.

APPLE, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, DELL AND TESLA ARE SUED OVER ALLEGED CHILD LABOR IN CONGO

International Rights Advocates filed a federal class action against the five companies in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, where the group is based. The complaint claims that the firms "are knowingly benefiting from and aiding and abetting the cruel and brutal use of young children" to mine cobalt in extremely dangerous conditions.

The defendants have known for a "significant period of time" that Congo’s mining sector "is dependent upon children," the complaint said, adding that cobalt mined in the region is listed as a good produced by child labor or forced labor by the US Department of Labor.

The world's biggest metal exchange is getting serious about child labor and conflict minerals.

"Further, the horrors of the plight of these children has been widely reported in the media," the complaint said, citing reports about the cobalt pipeline published by the Washington Post, the Guardian and others.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The people at the heads of these corporations don't really care what happens to these kids, because they have all had their consciences surgically removed, before accepting leadership roles in these companies.

NEVADA ACCUSES US GOVERNMENT OF 'SECRET PLUTONIUM SMUGGLING'

SOURCE: GO.COM
RENO, Nev. -- Nevada wants a federal judge to declare illegal what it calls the U.S. government's “secret plutonium smuggling operation” and order the removal of weapons-grade material already shipped to a security site north of Las Vegas over the state's objections.

The latest filing in a yearlong legal battle asks U.S. District Judge Miranda Du in Reno to reject the government's motion to dismiss the state's lawsuit. Nevada is challenging the Energy Department's covert shipment of the highly radioactive material from South Carolina last year.

The department insists the issue is moot because it already has promised that no more plutonium will be brought to Nevada.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The effects of this plutonium may be with the residents (particularly those who live in close proximity to this site) of the state of Nevada for quite some time to come; I can completely understand why Nevadans are upset with this.

THOUSANDS OF COPS, VETERANS, SUPPORTERS PLEDGE TO JOIN MILITIA IN VIRGINIA TO COMBAT UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS

SOURCE: LAW ENFORCEMENT TODAY
Virginia – Monday morning, Law Enforcement Today reported on how Tazewell County, Virginia is crafting a militia to defend the Constitution in the state. And within hours, we were flooded with thousands of emails from people across the state – police officers, veterans, and patriotic Americans – who said they are joining.

And it’s a movement that’s gaining traction across the state.

The South gave up their flag, their statues and now they want their guns, sounds like Hitler’s Germany.”

Wrote another:

We may well, potentially, be seeing a movement which could, potentially, go national.

Why a medieval peasant got more vacation time than you

The Lord only took 1/3 off the top, they worked only 150 days a year. Serfs drank beer all year round and also had entertainment. Other than a few plagues,The Black Death, the Vikings, a dozen Crusades and that 100 year war thing that lasted for 116 years,a better deal than what we get today.

Plowing and harvesting were backbreaking toil, but the peasant enjoyed anywhere from eight weeks to half the year off. The Church, mindful of how to keep a population from rebelling, enforced frequent mandatory holidays. Weddings, wakes and births might mean a week off quaffing ale to celebrate, and when wandering jugglers or sporting events came to town, the peasant expected time off for entertainment.

French strikers cut ELECTRICITY to thousands of homes, companies and even the Bank of France in bid to force Macron to scrap hated pension reforms

Trade unions cut power to 50,000 homes in Bordeaux and 40,000 in Lyon.

Train services across France also remained disrupted as half a million protested.

President Emmanuel Macron is trying to reform pension system to make it equal.

Thousands of French homes, companies and even the Bank of France have been left without power as strikers march through the streets demanding President Emmanuel Macron drops his hated pension reforms.

Trade unions deliberately severed the electricity supply to 150,000 homes across Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes and Cherbourg yesterday, and threatened to repeat the action unless the government backs down.

Clinics, fire stations, and railway stations were also left with the lights off, said the government, as the capital Paris remained wracked by protests and without public transport.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to hope that Macron can do something, other than behaving like a spoiled child, due to that fact that the country hates his attempted pension reforms.

Boris Johnson to pass bill making BDS illegal

The new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, is allegedly preparing to pass a bill which will outlaw advocacy for the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS) against Israel, which will make it illegal for public bodies to engage with any group which participates in boycotts of the Israeli regime.

The story, which first surfaced in INews, has now caught wind in the Israeli press and is seen as another win for Israel to have come from Britain’s recent election, with Labor’s pro-Palestinian Jeremy Corbyn losing to his Conservative Party rival.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wow, that didn't take long at all!!

What Current Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu wants from Western leaders, he gets, with a snap of his fingers.

And Boris, now we know... for whom you really work; the smear against Corbyn's party may well have been orchestrated directly from Tel Aviv, because Netanyahu understood that he would get every support possible from you he wanted, no matter how wrong-headed any decision he might have made could be.

And what do the Palestinians get from such actions?!?

Zero; zip; nada; absolutely nothing, except for more misery; more dislocation; and more deaths against innocent, unarmed protestors demonstrating, peacefully, against the apartheid under which they are living.

I would very much like to remind Johnson of the following statements by Anglican Bishop Desmond Tutu, regarding Israeli apartheid, and the actions taken against him, for not supporting Israel's position on its apartheid against Palestinians:

Nobel Laureate Desmond Tutu Banned From Campus Over Israel Criticism

Desmond Tutu: Israel guilty of apartheid in treatment of Palestinians

And believe me, this is a guy who knows apartheid, because he lived through it, in his own country!!! The Anglican church was very smart in ordaining him as Bishop, because the Boetha government couldn't touch him.

I had the opportunity to hear hear him, at a Los Angeles Episcopal Church, St. John's Episcopal, on Adams Boulevard, many years ago.

His passion for peace, not only for African South Africans, but for all South Africans, was nothing short of completely amazing.

Turkey calls US ending of Cyprus arms embargo ‘dangerous escalation’

Turkey has warned that the United States’ decision to end a decades-old arms embargo on Cyprus would be a “dangerous escalation.”

In a statement issued late Tuesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said the US decision “will have no outcome other than hampering efforts toward a settlement on the island and creating a dangerous escalation.”

The US Congress voted Tuesday to lift the arms embargo on Cyprus, which has been in place since 1987. The measure has passed both chambers of Congress as part of a massive defense spending bill, with President Donald Trump likely to sign it.

The bill comes at a time of tensions between Turkey and the US over such issues as Ankara’s purchase of the Russian S-400 system and Washington’s support for Kurdish-led militants in Syria.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This ... could get very ugly, very quickly, and someone with some "male Attributes in NATO", has GOT to start working, very hard, and very intelligently, to prevent two NATO members, Greece and Turkey, from assaulting each other, militarily.

That’s what the man says: Kremlin backs top general’s assessment that NATO is drilling for large-scale war

The Kremlin has said that it trusts the opinion of a senior Russian general, who has said that NATO's intensified drills this year are an indication that the military bloc is preparing for a major conflict.

Valery Gerasimov, the chair of the Russian General Staff, shared the wary view that the Russian military have about NATO's maneuvers on Tuesday as he gave a year-end briefing to foreign military attaches in Moscow.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the opinion was based on analyses of data collected by the Russian military and should not be dismissed.

"In this case the professional opinion may be the only correct one, so the presidential administration is in no position to put forward its own military assessment," he said.

Gerasimov said the increased number and scale of military exercises conducted by NATO members this year indicates that the alliance "is purposefully training its troops to be engaged in a major military conflict."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Russian leadership may be many things; stupid, however, is not one of them.

I would like to very politely, but strongly, urge caution, on the part of NATO, to please define what it believes are its "enemies" with a great deal of care and consideration.

Germany ‘won’t back down’ under threat of US sanctions over Nord Stream 2 pipeline with Russia – Merkel

Chancellor Angela Merkel has insisted that Berlin will not give into pressure from Washington after the US Senate approved a bill sanctioning German companies working on a pipeline that will deliver natural gas from Russia.
During Wednesday’s Q&A session in parliament, lawmakers asked Merkel about the possibility of the US slapping sanctions on German companies building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

The chancellor said that she firmly opposes such sanctions because they have an extraterritorial effect. They will not push Berlin to abandon the project, however, she said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As the American comedian Ron White frequently mentions, "You can't fix stupid."

And in terms of being one of the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly idiotic things President Trump could have possibly done, just after attempting to shake down NATO members for more money, President Trump wins the crown for complete, abysmal stupidity, relative to both Germany and Europe, with this move.

Bolivian Attorney General Orders Ex-President Morales' Arrest

Former Bolivian President Evo Morales, who, after resigning, received asylum in Mexico, arrived on 12 December in the capital of Argentina, where he was granted refugee status.

Bolivia’s new Interior Minister Arturo Murillo has on Twitter published an arrest order for the country’s former President Evo Morales.

According to the text of the document, the decision to issue a warrant was taken as part of a criminal investigation into incitement to rebellion, terrorism, and financing terrorism.

The interior minister has already vowed to detain the former president, accusing Morales of inciting anti-government protests that, as Murillo claimed, amounted to terrorism.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is primarily a very public exercise in futility, as Mora has already been given permanent asylum in Argentina; and I sincerely doubt that Argentina will return him back to Bolivia for what is certain to be, a show trial.

Left in Misery’: UN Peacekeepers Fathered, Abandoned Hundreds of Babies in Haiti

Personnel enlisted in the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH) fathered hundreds of babies during their deployment and abandoned the young mothers after being informed of the unexpected pregnancies, a new report published Tuesday by researchers and academics revealed.

“The narratives reveal how girls as young as 11 were sexually abused and impregnated by peacekeepers and then, as one man put it, ‘left in misery’ to raise their children alone, often because the fathers are repatriated once the pregnancy becomes known,” reads the report.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This ... is just morally ill.

What would I do to prevent the problem?!? When people sign on to become "peace keepers", there should be a clause in that contract that if they get a local woman pregnant, and the baby's DNA matches that of the dad, that the father would be liable and bound for their support until they reach adulthood.

It is not as though these people don't know what a condom is, or how to use it, even if their victims do not.

Graphic Video: US Cop Caught Repeatedly Punching, Macing Restrained Inmate’s Face

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been asked to intervene and probe the beating and pepper spraying of an inmate by a former Ohio deputy who struck the man so hard he broke his hand.

Pike County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Mooney recently resigned after surveillance footage captured his November 18 attack on Thomas Friend, a 27-year-old restrained inmate who had been arrested on a misdemeanor charge.

Mooney can be seen using a fogger to pepper spray Friend at around the 2:18 timestamp. Friend, strapped to a chair, then reacts to the substance and ends up tipping his seat over. Nearly 11 minutes pass before the inmate is picked up.

Missile-Toe? US General Frets Pyongyang’s ‘Christmas Gift’ Could be Long-Range Test

With North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s New Years’ deadline for resuming negotiations quickly approaching, some Pentagon leaders are fretting that Kim may send the US a “Christmas gift” or possibly ring in the new year with a new long-range missile test. Kim announced a unilateral moratorium on such tests in April 2018.

“A long-range ballistic missile” test is expected before year's end, according to Gen. Charles Brown, commander of Pacific Air Forces and air component commander for US Indo-Pacific Command.

“What I would expect is some type of long-range ballistic missile would be the gift. It’s just a matter of does it come on Christmas Eve, does it come on Christmas Day, does it come after the New Year,” Brown told reporters at a breakfast roundtable on Tuesday, according to The Hill.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What does "negotiation" really entail?!?

We could, reasonably, say, that the process of negotiation demands a "quid pro quo" vision, where if the other country takes steps to negotiate, and provides tangible results to ratchet down tension, the country wanting the other country to take those steps, must then logically take steps of its own to ratchet down the tension.

And here has been the crux of the problem; President Trump has been, essentially telling North Korea that it must do everything the US demands, before it will even think about what the US government "just might" do in return.

President Kim Jung-Un did take some concrete, very visible steps, right after the first summit between himself and President Trump; but the US has done nothing demonstrable to even begin to prove that it is serious, by taking any further steps to lessen the tensions here.

Unfortunately, no matter the advice he may have been given to help shape his foreign policy on North Korea, no one in the bowels of power in DC has been able to successfully educate him on the concept of "face", which is critical to Asian countries and key to successfully deal with Asian leadership.

So President Trump, I am very sorry, but you have brought the current and potentially deadly developments with North Korea, upon your own head.

Because what we are looking at, should North Korea feel sufficiently threatened by your current course of action, will most probably be a war with both North Korea and China.

And that, sir, may just not be a winnable war for the US side.

Moscow and Europe Dislike US Sanctions on Nord Stream 2, Measures Violate Int'l Law - Kremlin

The US Senate on 17 December passed a $738 billion defence bill for the 2020 fiscal year that, in particular, includes sanctions against Nord Stream 2, TurkStream, and bars military-to-military cooperation with Russia.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has slammed US sanctions on Nord Stream 2 as “a perfect example of unfair competition", saying that Washington is imposing more expensive gas on Europe. He continued on by saying that both "Moscow and Europe dislike US sanctions on Nord Stream 2, as these measures violate international law".

"We assume that this project will be completed", Peskov told reporters, when asked whether the construction of the pipeline could be halted due to the sanctions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Congrats, President Trump, for pushing Europe and Turkey closer into the Russian orbit, well done, sir!!

The heights of absurdity have absolutely been breached and reached, with the passage of these sanctions, and President Trump may well have absolutely inflicted the "coup de grace" on NATO, with this bone-headed, tone-deaf move, coupled with his screaming at NATO members for more money, at the Conference earlier this month.

Does the man actually play checkers?!?! And I ask this, because he seems to be completely maladroit at any action which resembles any real diplomacy, and that takes a vision of the long term, as chess does.

Erdogan Threatens Recognition Of 'Genocide' Of Native Americans In Tit-For-Tat

Is this how Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to "get back" at Washington for the recent US bill that recognizes the 1915 Armenian Genocide? Last month he had warned Trump directly of dire consequences if the term "genocide" is formalized in US law.

And now, according to The Independent, Erdogan says Turkey could in turn give legal recognition to the mass killing of native Americans by European settlers and American colonists in the latest tit-for-tat move against the Congressional resolution.

“Can we speak about America without mentioning [Native Americans]? It is a shameful moment in US history,” Erdogan said in a televised interview this week, raising the threat of a reciprocal measure. Theoretically such Turkish legislation would mean the Turkish government could not associate itself with any event or institution which involved denial of the 'genocide' of native Americans.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The irony here, cannot possibly be lost on Americans who are more familiar with the true story of how the West was won; and yes, massive assassinations, coupled with exposure to diseases to which Indigenous Americans had no immunity, were a big part of settlers' successes in the West.

eta Thunberg, the 16-year-old environmentalist who started skipping school in 2018 to protest outside the Swedish parliament, has long been promoted a special needs teen whose tireless mission to shame the west into cap-and-trade went 'viral' organically.

In fact, TIME Magazine's Person of the Year had a professional film crew "following Thunberg from her early school strike in Stockholm all the way to parliaments and massive international protests" for a forthcoming documentary on HULU tentatively titled 'Greta,' which is set to air in 2020, according to Deadline.

Director Nathan Grossman - who previously directed a Swedish film about one man's reflection on his life as a carnivore titled "Lusts of the Meat" (Köttets lustar) - has been documenting Greta's mission "to make the world understand the urgency of the climate crisis."

"Use Extreme Caution": Boaters Warned Of "Unsafe, Erratic" Russian Spy Ship Off Carolina Coast

A Russian spy ship which had been been sailing off the coast of South Carolina and Florida for the past few days has been a source of alarm for US authorities who say it's been operating in an “unsafe” and “erratic” manner.

It prompted an unusual US Coast Guard alert which warned boaters off South Carolina and Georgia to "use extreme caution", especially given the Russian ship, the Viktor Leonov, is avoiding any communication or direct contact with other ships alerting them to its passage, CNN reports. Though not unusual, the ship also turned off its locator when it got near the US coast.

"The United States Coast Guard has received reports indicating that the RFN VIKTOR LEONOV (AGI-175) has been operating in an unsafe manner off the coast of South Carolina and Georgia," the Coast Guard bulletin said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Judge Rules Government Entitled To Snowden Book, Speech Proceeds

A federal judge ruled on Tuesday that the US government is entitled to the proceeds from Edward Snowden's memoir, as well as any money he earns from paid speeches, because the former National Security Agency employee disclosed classified information without approval, according to the Washington Post.

Snowden has been charged with espionage since 2013, when he exposed top-secret surveillance documents in what may have been the biggest security breach in U.S. history.

The former contractor sees himself as a whistleblower compelled to reveal sweeping surveillance programs hidden from the American people. But through two administrations, the government has viewed him as a traitor who escaped justice by fleeing to Russia.

Unable to put him on trial, the Justice Department this year moved to cut off his profits from the book he published, “Permanent Record,” as well as from paid speeches. -Washington Post

Webmaster's Commentary:

Remember; Snowden has never, ever been proven wrong, in any statement Wikileaks has made; and that ... is why the US government is so absolutely furious with jim, that it would pull this kind of stunt.

Implausible Denials: The Crime at Jabal al Tharda. US-led Air Raid on Behalf of ISIS-Daesh Against Syrian Forces/By Prof. Tim Anderson Global Research, December 17, 2017

On 17 September 2016 a carefully planned US-led air raid on Jabal al Tharda (Mount Tharda), overlooking Deir Ezzor airport, slaughtered over 100 Syrian soldiers and delivered control of the mountain to DAESH / ISIS. After that surprise attack, the terrorist group held the mountain for almost a year, but did not manage to take the airport or the entire city. US-led forces admitted the attack but claimed it was all a ‘mistake’. However uncontested facts, eye witness accounts and critical circumstances show that was a lie. This article sets out the evidence of this crime, in context of Washington’s historical use of mercenaries for covert actions, linked to the doctrine of ‘plausible deniability’.

The Crumbling of America

In June of 2013 an Interstate bridge on a main commercial corridor between Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, Canada, collapsed and fell into the river below after being hit by a truck. This was not a high-speed collision; the truck simply bumped one of the main support pillars at low speed, but the weakened and dilapidated pillar broke from the strain and, without that extra bit of support, the entire bridge immediately collapsed. In prior examinations, the heavily-travelled bridge had not only been rated as functionally obsolete but structurally deficient and requiring replacement.

This is only one of thousands; the great majority of the physical infrastructure of the US is in a similar condition, involving roads, dams, bridges and more. More than 160,000 bridges in the US are officially categorized as dangerous, at risk of collapse, with such collapses now regularly occurring. (1) (2) (3)

The Richest Country’s Empty Plates. 50 Million Hungry Americans

When Reagan came to power in 1980, there were 200 food banks in the US; today there are more than 40,000, all overwhelmed with demand and forced to ration their dispersals. Before 1980, one out of every 50 Americans was dependent on food stamps. Today, it is one out of four.

That 50 million hungry Americans today includes the 25% of all children in the US who go to sleep hungry every night. About 25% of the American population today cannot buy sufficient food to remain healthy, with most of these being hungry for at least three months during each year. It is so bad that many college students have resorted to what we call “dumpster-diving” – looking in garbage bins for edible food.

Perhaps even more alarming was the release of study data in the middle of 2014 documenting that 25% of the US military members are also dependent on food stamps, food banks and other civilian welfare projects for their survival.

Trump Has Given Israel Immunity To International Law

Paul Craig Roberts

In Israel’s treatment of Occupied Palestine, Israel has been violating international law for decades. Under international law, an occupying power is not permitted to incorporate the occupied land into its own domain. However, Israel has persistently done so, evicting Palestinians from their homes, villages, and farm lands in order to build apartments for Jewish immigrants.

On Rogues and Rogue States

Washington never sleeps in its campaigns to improve the lives of people whose most fervent wish is that America stop improving their lives. To give the Afghans democracy, human rights, and American values, the US has for eighteen years been bombing, bombing, bombing a largely illiterate population in a nation where America has no business. It is a coward’s war with warplanes butchering peasants who have no defenses. The pilots and drone operators who do this deserve contempt, as does the country that sends them. How many more years? For what purpose? And how were the German Nazis different?

MX Linux

Rated #1 Linux system in downloads. Based on Debian. Smooth and fast. Somewhat limited in software. Only totally stable versions of various software are used and some newer still unstable software isn't. Never could figure out how to put Brave Browser on it.

Easy to download, especially by torrent. Easy to install and setup.Updates super fast. Software manager,Synaptic and gdebi installers.

Libre Office will do just fine with Microsoft Office. Somebody sends me an attachment in Office,Libre displays and prints it just fine.

Main disadvantage? Just had to download and reinstall on machine. No upgrade like Linux Mint.

MX Linux is a cooperative venture between the antiX and former MEPIS communities, using the best tools and talents from each distro. It is a midweight OS designed to combine an elegant and efficient desktop with simple configuration, high stability, solid performance and medium-sized footprint.

Can 20 U.S. senators withstand the potentially irresistible temptation to reverse the results of the 2016 election and remove a president a number of them openly or privately dislike?

Since Donald Trump announced his intention to run for the White House on June 16, 2015, many of the entrenched elites across the various power centers of Washington and beyond have spent many of their waking hours trying to stop or unseat him.

SECRET DEEP STATE DEMANDS: THE FBI WANTS CONSUMERS’ CREDIT DATA

SOURCE: SHTFPLAN.COM
Secret Deep State Demands: The FBI Wants Consumers’ Credit Data
Authored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplan.com,

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has secretly demanded access to a whole bunch of consumer credit information and data. Recently revealed documents prove that the FBI wants access to troves of financial information from the nation’s largest credit agencies.

According to a report by Tech Crunch, this is a regular thing for the FBI. The government agency regularly uses these legal powers (known as national security letters) to compel credit giants to turn over non-content information, such as records of purchases and locations, that the agency deems necessary in national security investigations. But these letters have no judicial oversight and are typically filed with a gag order, preventing the recipient from disclosing the demand to anyone else; including the target of the letter.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Forth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, has been getting continually clobbered by these national security letters.

Now, I am a person who loves to look on line for things like clothing, etc., because the customer experience in this country has gone the way of the dodobird, and the dribble glass.

But that this would in any way, make me more interesting to all the alphabet soup agencies who continually monitor this site, I don't know.

And yes, yesterday, I was looking at clothing; I confess, I confess; but do any of you monitoring this site understand how difficult it is for a 70 year old woman to purchase a comfortable pair of slacks which really will look good on her?!?

Sorry for attempting to inject a little levity here ...However, that being said, this is the butt-ugly truth of the business; when one has so much data, it can become absolutely overwhelming, and it is difficult to ferret out what is important, and what is not.

My shopping browsing habits are not anything with which to be concerned; anything the watchers of this site need to be concerned with, is what I say here.

And yes, just to annoy all the people who have been "tasked" to monitor this blog, (probably for having done some incredible screw-up in their job),I am a Christian pacifist activist, who never, ever condones violence, but consistently encourages her country to find ways of achieving its geopolitical objectives through honest, reasoned, hard, good-will negotiations, rather than through wars.

And if someone in the deep state wishes to correct me in my attitude or logic, please feel free to call; you've got my number!! :-)

GOOGLE STEERS USERS TO PROPAGANDA ATTACKING SHEN YUN PERFORMING ARTS

Beijing has opened a new front on the internet for its more than a decade-old campaign to shut down a performing arts company whose shows challenge the Chinese regime’s human rights record and cultural identity.

Google search results for the Shen Yun Performing Arts company are steering users toward Chinese regime propaganda. Among the top results are several articles that align with the regime’s talking points or are directly produced by the regime. Other search engines don’t produce these results.

Whether Google is actively seeking to target Shen Yun with the Chinese Communist Party’s viewpoint is not clear. The search engine may itself be manipulated.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF in fact these charges are be true, it is simply yet another demonstration that Google doesn't mind taking anyone's money; let's say they are far less of an American corporation, at this point in their evolution, than a pan-world corporation.

And hey, if the money spends from a client like the Communist Party, they will take the job, no problem; no questions.

HARVEY WEINSTEIN MIRACULOUSLY CURED - ABANDONS WALKER AFTER COURT APPEARANCE

SOURCE: BOING BOING

It’s a Christmas miracle! Disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein showed up at court last week wearing a comically baggy suit and shuffling unsteadily with a walker. The very next day he was spotted in a New York department store, casually ambling through the aisles without assistance, loving family in tow. Page Six has the photographic evidence.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sometimes looking at the way many of the monied live their lives, one has to wonder if sleaze and hubris just might be components of human DNA for which we just don't quite have a name, or explanation at this point in scientific history.

And that he believed, with every fibre of his being, that none of the paparazzi were going to call him out on this travesty of bad acting, when he shuffled into court with a walker and the worst-fitting clothing he could conjure?!?

This... is both absoflippinglutely amazing; and absolutely true!!

Black Antisemitic Terror Blamed on Whites

There are Chabad connections in many of these shootings. Remember Broward?

On December 10, a spectacular hrs-long gun battle took place, most of it at the Jewish JC Kosher market in Jersey City, New Jersey USA. A witness said the shooters came "ready to kill."

Palestinian-American USA Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, at first tweeted the Kosher Market shooting attack was another case where "white supremacy kills", even though the attackers were quickly identified as black ... the theory being that it is whites who have created the 'killing culture', and can always be blamed even if no whites are involved.

Chabad New Jersey Chief Rabbi Moshe Shapiro, was reported as being in the kosher store when the shooting there began.

Inside Santa Rosa's mile-long tent city amid plans to shelter its residents in FAIRGROUNDS as California struggles under the weight of 130,000 people living on the streets

Officials in Santa Rosa are set to unveil emergency proposals to shelter people in fairgrounds as the city - and the state - struggles with a homeless emergency where more than 130,000 people are living on the streets across California.

In Santa Rosa, around 185 people have set up a mile-long camp along the Joe Rodota Trail, next to Highway 12.

The proposed plan, set to be unveiled on Tuesday, will allow some of those living in the camp and the rest of the 3,000 homeless people in Sonoma County to move into the fairgrounds, The Press Democrat reports.

Leaders in the city, struggling with the biggest homeless camp in its history, are said to have been inspired by how the fairgrounds were used during wildfires and flooding.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) I know that there are many areas where the economy is working brilliantly (for the already monied); but for these homeless numbers to be so astoundingly high, translates into the very hard reality, that the current business model is NOT working all the way up and down the "food chain" of the American economy.

Graphic Video: US Resource Officer Fired for Bodyslamming Middle School Boy

An investigation has been launched into a school resource officer following the emergence of surveillance footage which showed the man dragging and slamming a child under the age of 12 to the ground multiple times.

A Vance County Sheriff’s deputy has been fired and an investigation has been launched by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation after the officer appeared to literally take a student’s disciplinary matters into his own hands earlier this month.

The footage, which was released publicly on Friday, showed the unidentified resource officer leisurely strolling down the hallway at Vance County Middle School with the student by his side. Seemingly unprovoked, the deputy then picks the boy up and slams him to the ground twice before dragging him down the hallway.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think that the larger question here which must be answered, is why do such events keep happening in US public schools?!?

Is there a collective "screw loose" in the brains of Resource Officers, that it causes them to snap, and sometimes create extensive injuries for the kids in these schools?!?

Because we are not talking about an "isolated incident"; we are talking about way too many of these events, happening in our public schools, and this violent behaviour on the part of these officers has to stop, and right now.

"As part of your rehabilitation, it's crucial that you admit you have a problem - you are hijacking the Intelligence Committee for political purposes while excusing and covering up intelligence agency abuses." -Devin Nunes to Adam Schiff

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) has written perhaps the most brutal 'I told ya so' letter in recent memory to Adam Schiff, his Democratic rival and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

After last week's Inspector General report on FBI FISA abuse revealed Schiff was peddling lies to the American public in a February, 2018 'counter-memo' to Nunes's now-proven claims, Schiff passed the buck - telling Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday that he was 'unaware' of certain things uncovered by the IG - while failing to admit he's been dead wrong on an ongoing basis about a number of things.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unless Schiff lives in a bullet-proof "safe place" bubble, he may well be surprised by other Democrats, stepping up against him in the next election, after this vile business is concluded.

Even though the 28th Congressional District is very clearly Democratic Party Centric in their voting, and with Schiff coming up for re-election in 2020, some of these people -with, let's say, a little of their consciences left in tact- may well want someone on the ticket who might just be a tiny bit more honest than Schiff has shown himself to be, or at least have the gift of appearing more so.

And one has to wonder; to what degree has this district been gerrymandered, to make it look as though little "nibbles" have been quietly eaten away, to cause the demographic to be so overwhelmingly "Blue-centric?!?

Well, a quick glance at a map of Schiff's district certainly tells the story:

the 28th Congressional District

Is it just me, or does that map look like "nibbles" have been taken out, to insure that the District will vote nearly 100% Democratic?!?

On Rogues and Rogue States

I have just finished reading William Shirer’s Berlin Diary. (This may not fascinate you, but I am coming to something.) I first encountered it in high school. It is of course Shirer’s account as a correspondent in Germany of the rise of the Nazis. Most of it is well known to the educated. The Nazis, who had control over the domestic press, convinced the German population that the Poles were threatening Germany, as plausible as Guatemala threatening the United States. The Poles were said to be committing atrocities against Germans.

Then the Reich, with no justification whatever, having absolute air superiority, attacked Poland, bombing undefended cities and killing huge numbers of people. It was a German pattern several times repeated. Many reporters told of the smell of rotting bodies, of refugees dying of hunger and thirst. Today the Reich is endlessly remembered as a paragon of evil. It was.

Teacher Unions Destroy School Accountability

Authored by Robert Fellner via The Mises Institute,

Just months after successfully threatening an illegal strike to obtain a modest salary raise, members of the Clark County, Nevada, teachers union, the Clark County Education Association (CCEA), are going to have to give a big chunk of that back, thanks to a pair of recent rate hikes that will cost the average teacher nearly $1,000 a year.

The union claims that higher taxes and increased spending are the only way to improve Nevada’s public schools but neglects to explain why the near tripling in spending that has already occurred since 1960 has failed to improve student performance.

Greece To Help Tripoli 'Block Turkish Ships' As Libyan War Spills Into Mediterranean

The years-long war for post-Gaddafi Libya now threatens to spill over into the Mediterranean as Turkey and Greece line up on either side of the conflict. Each side is now threatening the others' allied ships in southern waters after a controversial maritime deal expanded Turkish claims off Libya's coast.

On Thursday Benghazi-based General Kalifa Haftar declared his Libyan National Army has begun its "final decisive battle" to wrest control of the capital of Tripoli from the UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA).

"Zero hour has come for the broad and total assault expected by every free and honest Libyan," Haftar said in a televised address, reports Al Jazeera. "Today, we announce the decisive battle and the advancement towards the heart of the capital to set it free... advance now our heroes." Beginning eight months ago Haftar launched a siege of Tripoli, which has been stalled in recent months.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This could spin out of control horrifically rapidly; prayers for all the innocent Libyans impacted, or who will be impacted.

Glyphosate and Roundup Proven to Disrupt Gut Microbiome by Inhibiting Shikimate Pathway

Fatty liver disease and death of liver tissue were also confirmed in rats fed regulatory permitted and thus presumed safe doses of the weedkiller

The primary mechanism of how glyphosate herbicides kill plants is by inhibiting an enzyme called EPSPS, which is part of a biochemical pathway known as the shikimate pathway. The shikimate pathway is responsible for the synthesis of certain aromatic amino acids that are vital for the production of proteins, the building blocks of life. Thus when the synthesis of the aromatic amino acids is blocked by glyphosate inhibition of EPSPS, the plant dies.

Trump Wants Criticism of Israel Equated with Anti-Semitism

Trump wants anti-Semitism redefined. An executive order perhaps already signed is all about stifling legitimate criticism of Israel.

It’s about wanting the Jewish state absolved of occupation, colonialism, and apartheid crimes against humanity.

“Officials say the order will broaden the federal government’s definition of anti-Semitism and instruct it to be used in enforcing laws against discrimination on college campuses.”

Henceforth, will advocacy for Palestinian rights and wanting Israel held accountable for denying them be criminalized — and not just on college campuses.

According to the NYT, Trump’s order “will effectively interpret Judaism as a race or nationality, not just a religion.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is engineered to have the most chilling effect possible on free speech, when it comes to criticizing Israel, and must be brought to the Supreme Court as case they will actually hear; additionally, it will cement home the fact to the Palestinian and Arab communities, that the US government cannot possibly be relied upon a an honest broker of peace treaties in the region.

Pentagon chiefs say US troops to stay in Syria for years

Barely two months after US President Donald Trump’s demagogic announcement that he was pulling US troops out of northeastern Syria to fulfill his campaign promise to bring a halt to Washington’s “endless wars,” the senior civilian and uniformed Pentagon chiefs told a House panel Wednesday that there is no foreseeable end to the American presence there.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley maintained in their testimony to the House Armed Services Committee that the US military was staying in Syria to assure the “enduring defeat” of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and that the fulfillment of that goal is likely years away.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, Defense Secretary Esper and Joint Chiefs Staff Milley: But has Russia's President Putin received the memo, that this is continued, endless occupation of Syria, is coming?!?

Just asking, gentlemen; just asking.

Pompeo warns Iran of 'decisive response' if harm in Iraq

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday warned Iran of a "decisive" response if US interests are harmed in Iraq, after a series of rocket attacks on bases.

"We must... use this opportunity to remind Iran's leaders that any attacks by them, or their proxies of any identity, that harm Americans, our allies or our interests will be answered with a decisive US response," Pompeo said in a statement.

"Iran must respect the sovereignty of its neighbors and immediately cease its provision of lethal aid and support to third parties in Iraq and throughout the region," he said.

The United States has expressed mounting concern about the flurry of attacks on Iraqi bases used by US troops, several of which it has blamed on Iranian-backed Shiite paramilitary groups.

Two rocket attacks this week targeted a compound near Baghdad International Airport, which houses US troops, with an incident Monday wounding Iraqi troops.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are so many possibilities for a false flag before the end of the year, that one hardly knows were to start; that being said, however, Iraq is certainly one of those places where a false flag against an American entity could be done, blamed on Iran, and off we would be going.

However, as someone who doesn't walk in the halls of power in DC, I must shudder at what appears a huge "gap of awareness" which makes itself known, when Secretary State Pompeo, hauls off with threats like these.

Has he not been made privy to the following article ( and the article was written in English; you didn't even have to read Russian to read i)t, and here is what it said:

Iran won't be alone, if the US attacks it. The statement was made by Zamir Kabulov, the Foreign Ministry’s special envoy for Asian countries including Iran, said at a Russian-Iranian policy forum in Moscow.

And I am stunned here; if I know about it as just a plain-Jane citizen of this country, why do you, Secretary Pompeo, apparently not know that this was said publicly by a Russian official?!?

And sir, were I you, I would take Kabulov at his word; and at the moment he made this declaration he was channeling Putin.

It has been said, that some people this close to Putin don't even FART without asking his permission.

Mr. Secretary, I am imploring you as politely as I can, please do not go to war with Iran, because it will, most likely mean war with Russia.

Please do not "get drunk on the cork" of any "victory is ours" scenarios,
being "curated" for you by any of our governmental agencies at the moment; the track record of the US government's having signed off on these concepts,
for at least the past 20 years, stinks with the wretched, fetid odor of a badly conjured, dart-board foreign policy, where the people who created these scenarios were pathologically incapable of seeing them through to their logical conclusion.

Israel bars Gaza’s Christians from visiting Bethlehem, Jerusalem at Christmas

Christians in the Gaza Strip will not be allowed to visit holy cities such as Bethlehem and Jerusalem to celebrate Christmas this year, Israeli authorities said on Thursday.

Gazan Christians will be granted permits to travel abroad but none will be allowed to go to Israel and the occupied West Bank, home to many sites holy to Christians, a spokeswoman for Israel’s military liaison to the Palestinians said.

Israel tightly restricts movements out of the Gaza Strip, territory controlled by militant group Hamas.

The spokeswoman said that following “security orders,” Gazans would be allowed to travel abroad via Israel’s Allenby Bridge border crossing with Jordan but not to visit cities in Israel or the West Bank.

Gaza has only around 1,000 Christians - most of them Greek Orthodox - among a population of 2 million in the narrow coastal strip.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to speculate if this is telegraphing that the IDF is planning some sort of "special mission" against these three key cities which are so important to the Christian faith and narrative, in order to create false flags in them, saying that it was the Palestinians who did such a thing, to get Christians generally annoyed with Palestinians as the IDF goes into Gaza with an alleged "countermeasure", to justify killing more innocent Palestinians.

Cheney warns US against Middle East pullout as even Washington Post digs up proof his War on Terror was ‘UNWINNABLE’

Ultra-hawk former vice president Dick Cheney has reprised his role as head cheerleader for the never-ending war he kicked off nearly 20 years ago. But has the prodigious conflict dragged on too long even for the war-happy MSM?

Cheney warned a rapt Dubai audience that “American disengagement” from the Middle East would play right into the hands of Iran and Russia, serving up “power voids” on a silver platter to any US rival willing to take the initiative. “Russia is always on standby to fill power voids,” he insisted on Monday, framing the Trump administration's move to wind down its military presence in northeastern Syria as a national embarrassment sure to set the stage for a resurgence of the Evil Empire coupled with a nuclear Iran.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Can this war criminal, with a name so vile it can barely be spoken in the homes of decent people, not possibly, please, shut up, and go home?!?

Continuing to lie to the world, about what "has been accomplished" in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, only makes the excrement of those lies flow higher and deeper, until, sir it has taken over the entirety of the ventilation system with a vengeance, and starts squirting it, gleefully, back out over those designer clothing you love to wear.

The cold, hard, and butt-ugly fact of the matter, sir, is that history will not treat you, or President Bush, or your and his minions, with much kindness.

History's mirror will see you, and the people who surrounded you professionally, precisely for what you are; soulless monsters, hell-bent on war, to drive the military industrial complex's revenues to incredibly high profits, in the process of destroying those countries, the natural resources of which, you and your team coveted greatly.

Blue State Blues: Our Founders Feared the ‘Tyranny of the Legislature’

Democrats insisted this week that they had to impeach President Donald Trump because our Founders feared a “king.” What they forgot, or never learned, is that our Founders feared the tyranny of the legislature as well.

Alexis de Tocqueville raised that point in his treatise, Democracy in America, where he warned that democracy could be destroyed by two forms of dictatorship: the despotism of a single ruler, and the tyranny of the majority.

Tocqueville quoted Thomas Jefferson’s letter to James Madison in 1789, in which he declared: “The executive, in our government is not the sole, it is scarcely the principal, object of my jealousy. The tyranny of the legislature is the most formidable dread and will be for many years.”

Federal Marijuana Legalization Is A Lock – But How, When?

If you listen carefully, you will hear the sound of a crooked foundation known as marijuana prohibition starting to crumble in the United States. It has been more than eight decades since the federal government outlawed the cannabis plant nationwide, and yet, here we are finally standing on its lawn with torches in hand waiting for a day of reckoning.

Because no matter how much the suits on the Hill have schemed to enslave a population through backasswards drug laws, the nation has risen up in true knock-down-drag-out fashion and fought for its freedom back. Admittedly, this battle for legal bud took a lot longer than it should have, but considering that everyone in the trenches was stoned beyond belief, the marijuana movement seems to be arriving right on time.

Trump Wants Criticism of Israel Equated with Anti-Semitism

Anti-Zionism and anti-Israel are unrelated to hostility and bias toward Jews.

Israel is a nation-state, Judaism a religion. Some of Israel’s fiercest critics are Jews, clearly not self-hating ones.

Calling Jewish state critics anti-Semitic is a long-ago discredited canard.

The same goes for criticizing Zionism, tyranny by another name. The ideology is extremist, undemocratic, hateful, ruthless, racist, destructive, and hostile to peace, equity and justice.

It’s contemptuous of fundamental legal, moral and ethical principles, Jews unacceptably considered a chosen people superior to others.

Stop the Deep State’s “Free Trade” Agenda for Global Government

Stop the USMCA!
So you might be saying to yourself, how does the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) fit into this picture?

The short answer is that the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and its proposed successor, the 2018 USMCA, were both designed to provide steppingstones to regional (North American Union), then world (United Nations) government, exactly in accordance with the Deep State globalists’ strategy for establishing a global government as explained above by Newman.

Dec 12 12:44

Fool Me Once, Fool Me Twice: What’s Wrong With The USMCA?

President Trump said he was going to get out of NAFTA; then, he said he was going to renegotiate it. More recently he said that “we need to rebrand NAFTA”. He signed the rebranded, repainted and refurbished agreement, called the USMCA, at the G20 Summit in Argentina on Sunday, December 2, 2018. This new agreement actually expands the globalist NAFTA agreement and installs the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as a core – the same agenda that Trump claims to pulling the U.S. out of. It’s called regionalism: Globalists want this 1800 page, sovereignty killing, unconstitutional document for a governance ruled by unelected commissions forming a European style union in this hemisphere. Each country must ratify the document before it can take effect. Now is the time to contact your Congressman and tell them to say no to the USMCA and to tell them to get us out of NAFTA.

Dec 12 12:42

What’s Really in the USMCA?

This is treason and Trump supports it.

The new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is intended to replace the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement, known as NAFTA. As The New American has previously covered (here, here, and here), there are many problems with the USMCA that outweigh any potential economic benefits — mainly how it would erode America’s national sovereignty in favor of regional integration.Economic Integration

House Dems Impeach Trump

As expected, the Dems impeached Trump for winning an election he was supposed to lose, for wanting improved relations with Russia, and other issues unrelated to phony charges against him.

His real high crimes of war and against humanity were ignored. The same goes for betraying the public trust by serving monied interests exclusively at the expense of ordinary people.

Why? Because the vast majority in Congress share guilt, so Dems invented phony politicized reasons to charge him.

A Recipe For Civil War

A Recipe For Civil War
There is a war between red states and blue states, between gun-right rubes and confiscating-jews.

In blue state California, (once the go-to state for free spirit creatures), people are leaving and fleeing in droves en route to red state Texas.

And New York ‘values’ aren’t keeping its people in, with more leaving the state than any other.

For when sovereignty is pressurized into slavery, and freedom of speech is maligned as a medium of ‘hate,’ then a recipe for civil war is a sure and settled fate.

Breaking up is hard to do.

But with repressive laws out of DC, and a coerced culture too, it’s time we bid this tyranny adieu.

Just say “Nullify.”

Predictive Programming --- US Civil War?

(henrymakow.com)

There are too many articles predicting America is in for another Civil War. Since the beginning of 2019, there's a new one every week.

I've come to see these stories as PREDICTIVE PROGRAMMING which is psychological conditioning provided by the media to acquaint the public with planned societal changes.

When these changes are put through, the public is already be familiar with them and will accept them as natural progressions, thus lessening public resistance and commotion. For example, March 2, 2019, The Washington Post:

"At a moment when the country has never seemed angrier, two political commentators from opposite sides of the divide concurred recently on one point that was once nearly unthinkable: The country is on the verge of "civil war."

Vatican Caught Using Charity Donations To Cover Budget Shortfalls

While Pope Francis has long preached about the ills of economic inequality and sins of capitalism, the Catholic church has been robbing Peter's Pence to the tune of over $50 million annually to plug holes in their out-of-control budget - after paying over $3 billion in pedophile priest settlements around the world over several decades.

According to the Wall Street Journal, most of the roughly $55 million the church takes in annually goes towards "plugging the hole in the Vatican’s own administrative budget, while as little as 10% is spent on charitable works."

The little-publicized breakdown of how the Holy See spends Peter’s Pence, known only among senior Vatican officials, is raising concern among some Catholic Church leaders that the faithful are being misled about the use of their donations, which could further hurt the credibility of the Vatican’s financial management under Pope Francis. -Wall Street Journal

Webmaster's Commentary:

WOW!! I knew the numbers were awful, but this is horrific.

So Pope Francis, a thought; it doesn't come from the mountain, but it is something you might want to at least consider.

Betraying the Constitution: Who Will Protect Us from an Unpatriotic Patriot Act?

While Congress subjects the nation to its impeachment-flavored brand of bread-and-circus politics, our civil liberties continue to die a slow, painful death by a thousand cuts.

Case in point: while Americans have been fixated on the carefully orchestrated impeachment drama that continues to monopolize headlines, Congress passed and President Trump signed into law legislation extending three key provisions of the USA Patriot Act, which had been set to expire on December 15, 2019.

Once again, to no one’s surprise, the bureaucrats on both sides of the aisle—Democrats and Republicans alike—prioritized political grandstanding over principle and their oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution.

SoCal Church Displays Holy Family As "Caged Refugees" At The Border

A Nativity scene in the southern California city of Claremont depicting the Holy Family as a separated family held in cages at the U.S. border is sparking controversy and conversations over President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

“If this isn’t your church’s politics, you’ve got the wrong faith,” tweeted music journalist Zel McCarthy.

Vanity Fair writer Anthony Breznican said that the Claremont United Methodist Church tableau, depicting Joseph and Mary in cages on either side of a caged baby Jesus Christ, was an accurate representation of the meaning of the Bible story.

“I love the Nativity story,” said Breznican.

“I love it not because it is warm and fuzzy, but because it is about perseverance against cruelty.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are great problems, both theologically and geopolitically, with conflating the Nativity with Illegal Immigration.

If my memory of the Nativity story is correct, Mary and Joseph were going back to Bethlehem, due to a tax census by the Roman Government; they were following the law of the land, when Mary went into labor, and delivered Jesus in Bethlehem.

Illegal immigrants are not a race, or a "shade" of humankind; they start out having broken the law, by crossing the US border illegally.

States are becoming economically swamped, by trying to fill unfunded mandates for housing and education; and even religious entities cannot keep up, due to their increasing numbers, and demands for services.

Unvetted immigration translates to squalor in our streets, a huge rise in homelessness.

Is there something this country could do to forestall this?!? The short answer is, yes, if they place all the money going to these endless wars without end, to immigration support, legal, or otherwise, education, and housing, this could happen.

But I frankly wouldn't hold my breath; this will only occur... when pigs discover that they are aerodynamic.

North Korea Says US Has Nothing To Offer If Nuke Talks Resumed

A week after North Korea resumed its "dotard" insults at President Trump and their ambassador to the United Nations said further denuclearization talks are no longer needed, Reuters reported Thursday via Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) that, even if denuclearization talks resumed between both countries, the Trump administration has nothing to offer:

North Korea's foreign ministry criticized the Trump administration for meeting with officials at the UN Security Council and suggested that it would be ready to respond to any corresponding measures that Washington imposes.

"The United States said about corresponding measure at the meeting, as we have said we have nothing to lose and we are ready to respond to any corresponding measure that the US chooses," said KCNA citing a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesperson.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The real problem, to which President Trump appears to be utterly tone-deaf, is that issue of "quid pro quo", meaning, "If YOU do something, I will reciprocate by doing something."

But the American posture appears to be, to both Kim Jung Un, and North Korea; the following; "You ... do everything we have asked; then we will consider doing something for you."

This is the absolute antithesis of true negotiations ; and what President Trump may reap from this, is more nuclear North Korean tests, greater North Korean Nuclear capabilities, and more protection from China.

Until then, television had appeared to be Bellamy’s natural habitat and he was one of the best-known faces in Britain.

Turkey May Close Incirlik Air Base for US Over Sanctions Against S-400 Purchase - Foreign Minister

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara will not abandon the Russian S-400 air defence systems in order to buy American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in a statement that Ankara may insist that the US leave Incirlik air base if Washington goes ahead with the sanctions it has threatened in response to Turkey's purchase of S-400 missiles.

"We will assess the worst-case scenario and make a decision. If the US imposes sanctions against Turkey, then the issue of the Incirlik and Kurecik bases may be on the agenda," Cavusoglu said.
The missile attack early warning radar, which is part of the NATO missile defence system in Europe, deployed in the Kurecik region of Malatya province in southeastern Turkey, was put into operation in early 2012. Its functioning is provided for by the US military.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What happens if the 50 US nuclear missiles cannot be retrieved which are held at Incirlik?!?

Stage-Managing the Pensacola Naval Base Shooting: Mollycoddling the Face of Evil

As should be expected, the government is attempting to stage-manage the shooting at the Pensacola Naval Base. The Pentagon said sailors killed by a Saudi student reportedly angry over the serial murder of Muslims by the US government “showed exceptional heroism and bravery in the face of evil.”

The alleged shooter, Mohammed Alshamrani, shot dead by police, was a Saudi national said to be enrolled in pilot training the Florida naval base. It is the same naval base linked to the supposed 9/11 hijackers.

Sources told ABC News that investigators are working to determine if the shooter was acting out because of religious or ideological reasons or if there was some sort of problem or hostility that developed in the course of the training at Pensacola.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have a great appreciation for Nimmo's work, and link to it frequently.

But I think Nimmo may have missed the mark in this article, and let me explain why, and I may tread on more than a few toes, but here it goes;

As long as many innocent Middle Eastern citizens get gunned down on a daily basis, to support US hegemony and the US government continues to give Israel an incredible pass in its pathological inability to "work well with others" in the region, it creates, in and of itself, the potential for this kind instability within this country, allowing violent reactions to these behaviours, to happen.

And please, don't get me started on the US enabling Saudi war crimes in Yemen; I will never finish this post if I go there.

It is exceedingly difficult to "grow up", geopolitically, and discover, surprise, surprise, that the country in which you hold citizenship, has been perpetrating war crimes for resources, for a very, very long time.

I can never, ever condone this type of behaviour from the shooter, but understand how it came about.

I want all who are so inclined, to offer prayers for all who died, and the family and friends of those people, no matter the name of their faith, be they be my Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or Muslim brothers and sisters who want peace.

And please, as the winter festivals of Christmas and Passover approach, let us, collectively, watch out for each others' backs.

As everyone knows who reads this blog,I am a Christian pacifist activist, and I abhor violence, and never advocate it, at all.

But that being said, that being said, I am very concerned at the US's actions in the Middle East, and beyond, which can be characterized by:

1. Destabilizing what are perceived as "anti US governments", so that US-centric governments can replace them.

2. Expropriating resources to which the US has no moral right, making sure that our "friendly companies" are making the profits from these resources, which rarely - if ever - go back to the people of the country of their origin.

3. Insuring that these resources are only sold in US dollars.

We, in this country, need to have a reasoned, honest, and difficult, conversation, about how we behave toward the rest of the world, and how that behaviour might very well affect our collective safety in the future.

Do people randomly shoot at people from Lichtenstein?!? No.

Do people randomly shoot at people from Andorra?!? No.

Do people randomly shoot at people from Monaco?!? No.

And why?!? Yes, these are small countries, with minor economic clout; but they make deals, rather than wage wars, to get what they want; and that, my friends, is the difference.

Gabbard knocks Trump over handling of Pensacola air station shooting

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) ripped the Trump administration on Tuesday over its handling of last week's deadly shooting by a member of the Saudi military at a naval air station in Pensacola, Fla.

The Democratic presidential hopeful, who has been a vocal critic of the Saudi kingdom, knocked President Trump in an interview on Hill.TV, saying that his administration needs to call the shooting "for what it is."

”This was a terrorist attack that took the lives of three American service members and injured eight others,” Gabbard said during an appearance on Hill.TV's “Rising.”

“We need to call it for what it is instead of what President Trump has done with his own remarks, with Secretary [of State Mike] Pompeo basically putting out messages as though they are the spokespersons for the Saudi Kingdom rather than standing up for our country’s national security and what’s in the best interest of our country.”

Money, Power, and Turf: Winning the Middle East Media War at Any Cost

Of the 180 countries classified by Reporters Without Borders’ annual report on press freedom, seven Middle Eastern countries are listed at the bottom 10% category of the world’s worst violators.

In 2018, Israel, which often prides itself on being "the only democracy in the Middle East", ranked 88th, a hardly shocking realization, considering its constant targeting, killing, wounding and arresting of Palestinian journalists. The Palestinian Authority achieved an even worse rank, at 137th place. It is telling that not a single Middle Eastern country has made it to the top 30% rank.

In countries like Egypt, Libya, Syria, and Yemen, where independent monitoring of government behavior is almost entirely absent, hundreds of journalists simply disappear in the black hole of brutal prison systems – malnourished, medically neglected, and routinely tortured.

Oklahoma Bill Would Block Unconstitutional National Guard Deployments

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (Dec. 10, 2019) – A bill prefiled in the Oklahoma Senate would prohibit unconstitutional foreign deployments of the state’s National Guard troops. Passage into law would effectively restore the founders’ framework for a state-federal balance regarding the state militia.

US No Longer Considers Yemen’s Houthis an Iranian Proxy

The Trump Administration has announced a policy change that looks like it could be a major turning point in US policy toward Yemen, announcing that they no longer consider the Shi’ite Houthi movement in Yemen to be a proxy of the Iranian government.

That stance is one initially pushed by the Saudi government to justify the Yemen War, and the US was only too willing to mirror it. This was in spite of the Houthis having substantial ideological differences with Iran, little direct contact, and not being the same type of Shi’ites.

The US did not explain their change in stance, but it may reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing peace talks with the Houthis, as the US couldn’t possibly support a peace deal that involved an actual Iranian-linked faction.

Leadership Strips Approved Antiwar Measures From NDAAHouse limitations stripped away in final bill

he House version of the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) set aside an irresponsibly large amount of money for military spending, but it also added some antiwar amendments and other very basic limitations. The House and Senate versions have now been reconciled into a final bill, and materially all of the limitations that the House voted on and approved have been stripped away, in favor of a $738 billion bill that continues spending, but makes no attempt to rein in the military in any serious way.

The House bill had included the latest attempt to use the power of the purse to end US military involvement in Yemen, something that both houses had attempted to do in a War Powers Act resolution that was previously vetoed by President Trump. That language will not be in the final bill.

The ‘Afghanistan Papers’ Highlight the Systemic Rot in U.S. Foreign Policy Making

here is a laundry list of reasons for why the U.S. foreign policy establishment comes up short on so many occasions. A total and complete absence of accountability in the industry ensures that those who demonstrate poor judgment are protected from punishment and allowed to repeat it. In this harsh political climate, politicians have an incentive to double down on the status-quo rather than admit mistakes. And an aversion to the smallest reform in Washington, D.C. means that it’s easier to simply go along to get along—even if doing so compounds failure.

‘Our friends didn’t have to die’: Afghanistan Papers surface pain and familiar frustrations

Lawmakers, veterans and experts have expressed shock and resignation after a Washington Post report Monday unveiled 18 years of distortion by U.S. officials over the prosecution of the war in Afghanistan.

The documents involved — more than 2,000 pages of confidential notes and interviews from more than 400 people, from ambassadors to troops on the ground — exposed a constant parade of failures while three presidential administrations insisted the war was moving in the right direction.

We must end the vicious, lethal cycle of misinformation and unspecified, unsupported strategies,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said in response, calling for public hearings with Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper and other officials.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please remember: US officials will always lie, about the necessity and "progress" of these endless wars, and don't give a damn about who gets killed or maimed for life in these miserable wars of conquest; all they give a damn about, is making sure that their buddies in the military/industrial complex, who overtly and covertly fund national election
campaigns get totally taken care of, which is a grim reality of American foreign policy.

Pentagon Shifts Focus Ahead Of Next War, Wants To Relocate Troops To Indo-Pacific Region

Very little headlines come out of the Middle East these days about the two-decade war the US has been fighting against terrorism. But what you hear on an increasing frequency are headlines outlining how Russia and China are the new enemies. The shift happened several years ago when the US military figured out that a great power competition was underway.

Instead of fighting unconventional enemies in the deserts of the Middle East, the Pentagon is preparing for major conflicts against Russia and China.

Hundreds of billions of dollars are being plowed into hypersonics, fifth-generation fighters and bombers, directed energy, space, cyber, quantum science, artificial intelligence, and automation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Sigh) Defense Secretary Esper, a word, please; what you are requesting be done, sounds like offence, rather than defense.

And somewhere, in your desire to re-position American troops, please remember; the total troop strength of the US military, as reflected in these numbers from Google:

United States Armed Forces
Reserve personnel 845,600
Deployed personnel 210,000
Expenditures
Budget US$693 billion (2019) (ranked 1st)

Globalfirepower, gives us the numbers on China:
2,693,000

That... gives China roughly a 2/1 advantage in troop strength; and until, Secretary Esper, you address that issue, this re-arrangement of US troops will be somewhat akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

With this government having knowingly lied to the public regarding Afghanistan, how long are you going to keep lying to the American people about the need to conscript, because our armed services are retchedly below quota, across the board?!?

IF the scenario, sir, is a US war against Russia and China, we are already behind the 8 ball, because we have neither the troop strength, or the weaponry to accomplish that mission.

Exposing The Promoters Of Climate Anxiety

I have gotten so many calls and emails from desperate folks I can't list them here. One woman tearfully told me her mother was desperately ill in California, but she couldn't move to be with her because she was afraid of the effects of climate change in that state. Another woman called, terribly worried about fires in western Washington from global warming. A few others asked about where they should move to escape our local apocalyptical conditions.

So why are all these people so anxiety-ridden and desperate? I believe it is the unconscionable exaggeration, hype, and fear-mongering of our media, special interest groups, some activist scientists, and a number of politicians. And it is unethical, ungrounded in science, and hurting the most vulnerable among us.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to hope that science teachers are teaching fact, and not freaking kids out, that the earth is going to die in 11 years, or whatever AOC said in her last tirade on this issue.

What we are facing, is not global warming right now, but a cycle of global cooling.

Global Warming By CO2 Or Cooling By A Grand Solar Minimum

And please check out this following article:

HomeArticlesThe Sun has been Spotless for a Total of 224 Days in 2019, and Counting… Looming Grand Solar Minimum

So why are we bing sold "global warming"?!? Ah, because there is money, vast sums of it, to be made, in trading carbon credits, which was precisely what Al Gore wanted to do; create an horrific planetary scenario which, of course, was going to destroy the planet, unless we all "did something"; and you know what?!?

He absolutely lied, because he didn't really have the science on his side, when he created his faux science schemes on global warming theory.

And looking outside our home here in Indiana, we are having the polar opposite of "global warming"; there's ice on the ground here, folks!

Senate Republicans To Let Bidens Off The Hook? May Skip Witnesses In 'Expedited' Impeachment Trial

While House Democrats are about to impeach President Trump for asking Ukraine to investigate the Bidens for what looks like obvious corruption - Senate Republicans have no interest in calling witnesses to determine whether Trump's request was justified in the first place.

According to the Washington Examiner, the GOP-controlled Senate have no plans to call key witnesses to testify in an impeachment trial. This means Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, John Kerry's stepson, Alexandra Chalupa and Ukrainian prosecutors involved in the Burisma case won't set foot in the Senate.

Their reasoning? Senate Republicans have "no appetite" for it.

Dem Congressman: Impeach Trump To Heal The Wounds Of Slavery

Authored by Graham Noble via LibertyNation.com,

It is hardly a surprise when Democrats accuse President Donald Trump of some terrible act. Nor is it shocking to hear the president incriminated for all manner of terrible and tragic events. But to witness a Democrat member of Congress blame Trump for slavery is too much of a stretch. Yet, Rep. Al Green (D-TX) is doing just that – or at least drawing a bizarre link between slavery and the current commander in chief.

Green, with a largely unremarkable political career, is now well known for one thing: his obsession with seeing this president impeached. The representative repeatedly and unsuccessfully introduced motions to impeach Trump – long before any phone calls to Ukrainian presidents.

Green’s Ridiculous Obsession

Webmaster's Commentary:

This obsession, on the part of Green, is nothing less than certifiable; it is unfortunate, that there is no provision in the Constitution or Bill or Rights, to have an equivalent to the 25th Amendment, which allows a President to be removed from office, when he or she does not appear to be functional.

Because everytime Green grandstands on this issue, he is NOT doing the work his constituents are asking him to do, and that is a damn shame.

And the utter and completely contemptuous tearing apart of the American body politic on this issue of impeachment on non-evidence, is nothing short of an horrific crime against the citizens of this country, in and of itself.

Jonathan Turley: "They Even Threatened My Dog" For Defending Trump At Impeachment Hearings

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

Law professor Jonathan Turley revealed that even his dog was violently threatened after he testified in favor of President Trump during the impeachment hearings.

Turley already spoke about death threats he received following his testimony last week, but went further in an interview with CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell.

“I know you received a lot of threats after what you did last week,” O’Donnell told the George Washington University law professor.

“And my wife and dog,” Turley responded.

“To be fair, you did talk about them during your testimony. You did bring up your wife and dog,” O’Donnell said.

“Who would shoot a Goldendoodle?” Turley asked in response.

“Maybe a Shih Tzu, but not a Goldendoodle. I don’t understand where the anger comes from. Although as an academic, the thought that you could talk about James Madison and that would be fighting words is something I haven’t seen outside of a law school.”

These Secretive Oil Companies Control $3 Trillion In Wealth

Authored by Anes Alic via OilPrice.com,

They control the vast majority of the world’s oil and gas assets, yet the average person has never even heard of them, outside of those that are famous for things like getting attacked by missiles or becoming embroiled in a high-profile corruption scandal.

State-owned oil and gas companies (aka, the national oil companies, or NOCs) control at least US$3 trillion in oil and gas assets, compared to around $2.5 trillion as of 2017, and hold an estimated 90% of all known reserves--considerably more than publicly listed companies such as BP, ExxonMobil and Shell. Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco leads the pack as the world’s most profitable company.

That means that NOCs control about as much wealth as all U.S. billionaires or roughly twice the assets of global multilateral development banks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Oil , and access to it, are critical to war, as there has not yet quite been a tank created which can run on solar; wind; cold fusion; or hydrogen.

If you see a sudden huge upshove at your local gas station, and all around you, that rise is generally telegraphing a prelude to war.
