Trump begins impeachment counterattack against hypocrites, spies, and Democrats

He’s been here before with the Mueller investigation, but the stakes are even higher now

It seems House Democrats are dead set on impeaching our duly elected president and that extraordinary measures were taken to ensure there’s the smoke-and-mirrors appearance of a there there.

They are not going to have an easy time of it, however, because President Trump and his team are coming out swinging.

Dems to Hold ‘Impeachment Town Halls’ for the Next Two Weeks: Is This What Americans Want?

If anyone thinks Democrat lawmakers — during the next two weeks of congressional recess — will be taking time off from their push toward the possible impeachment of President Donald Trump, they’ve got another think coming.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), for one, has already announced his first “impeachment town hall” for constituents in his district in the days ahead.

A former candidate for the 2020 Democratic nomination who quit that race in July, Swalwell is a member of the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees.

Pelosi: Democrats 'ready' to impeach Trump over Ukraine-Biden call

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told CBS News’ “60 Minutes” on Sunday that despite her previous hesitation to launch impeachment proceedings against President Trump, Democrats are now ready to impeach the commander-in-chief if necessary.

She said: “We could not ignore what the president did. He gave us no choice. So, it wasn’t any change of mind. I always said we will follow the facts where they take us, and when we see them, we will be ready. And, we are ready.”

Whistleblower Rules Secretly Changed Right Before Report Filed Against Trump

The Whistleblower Protection Act rules were changed in the months prior to a whistleblower coming forward against President Donald Trump.

The rules used to state that a whistleblower had to have direct, first hand knowledge of what they were reporting on.

But in the time between May 2018 and August 2019 that rule was changed, which has many wondering what involvement the intelligence community had in the complaint, The Federalist reported.

The Coup Has Begun – The Empire Strikes Back Everywhere

“I am altering the deal, pray I don’t alter it any further.”

Darth Vader, “The Empire Strikes Back”

You know I think there are no coincidences in politics. Everything happens on a particular schedule. So when I see a day as crazy as today I have to ask the question, “Why this, why now?”

Look at the headlines and you’ll see what I’m talking about. All of these things happened since I woke up at 7:30am on Tuesday in Florida:

Media Defending CIA’s “Whistleblower” After Ignoring Actual Whistleblowers

(CJ) The word “whistleblower” has been trending in news headlines lately, but not for the reasons that any sane person might hope for.

So who is this “savvy official”? Who is this courageous whistleblower who boldly shone the light of truth upon the mechanisms of power in the interests of the common man?

Well believe it or not, according to The New York Times this brave, noble whistleblower who the mainstream media are currently championing is an officer for the Central Intelligence Agency.

So there you have it. A mysterious stranger from the lying, torturing, propagandizing, drug trafficking, assassinating, coup-staging, warmongering, psychopathic CIA was working in the White House, heroically provided the political/media class with politically powerful information out of the goodness of his heart, and then vanished off into the Langley sunset.

The Untold Story of the Trump-Ukraine ‘Scandal’: The Routine Corruption of US Foreign Policy

The most crucial aspects of the Trump-Ukraine “scandal,” which has led to impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump, are not being told, even by Republicans.
But what’s not being talked about in the mainstream is the context of this story, which shows that, politics aside, Biden should indeed be investigated in both Ukraine and in the United States.

That’s the biggest crime in this story that isn’t being told. The illegal overthrow of a sovereign government.
As booty from the coup, the sitting vice president’s son, Hunter Biden, soon got a seat on the board of Ukraine’s biggest gas producer, Burisma Holdings.

Weird: Fox News pushes ‘impeach’ message with DVR playback

Fox News appears to be subversively promoting President Trump’s impeachment in its DVR recordings, according to a concerned Trump supporter.

“Strangest thing happening with our TV,” Lora Connor tweeted Saturday. “Every time we hit the pause button this picture of protesters with a big sign saying #IMPEACH pops up. That’s not even what we were watching! We tried changing channels but it’s only happening on #FoxNews. Super Creepy!”

PIERS MORGAN: If there’s one thing dumber than President Trump’s shockingly inappropriate Ukraine phone call, it’s the deluded Democrats using it to fight an impeachment battle they can’t win

SERIOUSLY, Mr President?

Just a few weeks after you were cleared by Special Counsel Robert Mueller of colluding with a foreign power to fix the 2016 Election, you called the leader of another foreign power asking him to investigate your main presidential rival Joe Biden for the 2020 Election?

Have you lost your mind????

That was my first reaction when I read the bombshell transcript of Donald Trump’s July conversation with Ukraine’s President Volodymr Zelensky.

On any level, this was spectacularly ill-advised and brazen behavior, and far removed from the ‘perfect’ and ‘beautiful’ chat that President Trump led us to believe it had been.

Maxine Waters Screams Her Head Off Against Impeachment, Now She Is Frightened

There was a time, way back in the old days of 1998, when Democrats said a ton of truth about impeachment being a weapon of politics.

But the speeches that they made back then are coming bck to haunt them now, like Joe Biden’s speech decrying the impeachment of former President Bill Clinton.

State of Delusion: Democrats Privately Panic Following Transcript, Impeachment Fallout

Democrats and Republicans demonstrated starkly different reactions following the release of the unredacted transcript of President Trump’s conversation with the president of Ukraine.

Many congressional Democrats publicly declared it the “smoking gun,” while Republicans dismissed their cries by noting the absence of quid pro quo or generally lawless behavior.

However, Democrats are striking a drastically different tone privately, as several reports indicate.

The far-left flank of the Democrat caucus forced House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to concede and announce a formal impeachment inquiry against the president on Tuesday. She made the announcement prior to the release of the transcript, which detailed the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Impeachment Gamble Already Backfiring on Democrats

This shiny new “impeachment inquiry” package placed under an early Christmas tree by Speaker Nancy Pelosi will ultimately contain one of two things: objective evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors by President Trump, or something that will blow up in their faces as others have before.

The ultimate answer will be dictated not by Trump supporters or tormentors, but by the facts.

Amid AOC pressure, Pelosi suggests impeachment back on the table to address 'grave new chapter of lawlessness'

Just hours after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said her party's failure so far to impeach President Trump amounted to a major "national scandal," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared to relent on Sunday -- and warn that a "whole new stage of investigation" could be approaching.

Pelosi, who has long resisted calls to impeach Trump claiming it would imperil the electability of moderate Democrats in the House, specifically said that a whistleblower who reportedly alleged that Trump acted improperly during a July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy must be allowed to speak to Congress, and the full whistleblower complaint must be provided.

AOC says Lewandowski hearing 'increases the case for impeachment' of Trump

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., told Fox News Tuesday Corey Lewandowski's testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday "increases the case for impeachment" of President Trump.

The president's former campaign manager was the first witness to be called in the Democratic-led impeachment investigation and his nearly five hours of questioning was argumentative, fiery and combative on both sides.

“It is now clear the investigation was populated by many Trump haters who had their own agenda – to try and take down a duly elected president of the United States,” Lewandowski said in his opening statement. “As for actual collusion or conspiracy, there was none. What there has been, however, is harassment of this president from the day he won the election.”

Democrats To Declare An Official Impeachment Investigation

Impeachment Time

It is astonishing to observe some Americans twisting themselves into pretzels so they can continue to make excuses to explain the bizarre behavior of President Donald Trump on the world stage. The line most commonly heard is that he has “kept us out of new wars.” The reality is somewhat different. He has kept us in old wars in Afghanistan and Syria that he could have ended while also needlessly ratcheting up tension with countries like Russia, Venezuela, Iran and China that could easily escalate into armed conflict. The situation with Moscow is particularly dangerous as President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly warned that his country’s defense doctrine includes going nuclear if there is an attack on Russia by a superior force.

Nadler Announces ‘Formal Impeachment Proceedings’ Have Begun

Impeachment caucus forms: Rep’s rogue resolution reveals scores of Dems gunning for Trump

A doomed attempt to bring articles of impeachment against President Trump failed miserably Wednesday night as expected, but the roll call put scores of Democrats on record in support of at least keeping the effort alive -- revealing that bloc has grown substantially in recent months.

Even as Democratic leaders have pushed back against impeachment proceedings at this stage, more and more prominent members -- including the freshman firebrands who were the targets of Trump's Twitter ire over the weekend -- have supported the drive. Wednesday’s resolution was brought by Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, who repeatedly has sought to impeach Trump.

"The president has committed an impeachable offense," Green said on the House floor Wednesday. "Yesterday, we condemned him for that. Today is our opportunity to punish him."

House To Vote On Impeachment Today

Impeachment has been discussed by Democrats for a long time but this is the first time they have decided to vote on it, NBC reported.

It’s unclear whether the House will vote to send the resolution to committee, to table it — effectively killing the measure — or vote to proceed forward with it.

In addition, the House will vote Wednesday to hold U.S. Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in criminal contempt of Congress for withholding information about the administration’s failed bid to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census.

April’s poll found 69% of Democrats favored impeachment, and a month later, 76% of Democrats support the measure, CNN reported. It also showed 75% of Democratic respondents believe the investigations into Trump are justified, while 74% of Republican respondents believe they are not.

The poll showed 41% of Americans are in favor of Trump’s impeachment, which is an increase of 4% from the poll CNN released in April. There are still 54% of Americans who don’t think Trump should be impeached, with 5% having no opinion on the issue.

2020 Democrats Renew Impeachment Frenzy After Robert Mueller Speaks

Dershowitz: Shame on Robert Mueller for exceeding his role

"Until today, I have defended Mueller against the accusations that he is a partisan. I did not believe that he personally favored either the Democrats or the Republicans, or had a point of view on whether President Trump should be impeached. But I have now changed my mind. By putting his thumb, indeed his elbow, on the scale of justice in favor of impeachment based on obstruction of justice, Mueller has revealed his partisan bias. He also has distorted the critical role of a prosecutor in our justice system."

To Impeach or Not to Impeach.

The revelation last weekend by Michigan Republican Congressman Justin Amash that he believes the Mueller Report accuses President Donald Trump of impeachable offenses has ignited firestorms in both major political parties on Capitol Hill. Amash’s argument is simple and essentially unassailable, though his fellow congressional Republicans don’t want to hear it and Democrats don’t know what to do with it.

Rep. Amash Calls for President’s Impeachment; Trump Calls Amash a “Loser”

Representative Justin Amash (R-Mich.) declared that, in his opinion, President Donald Trump has committed impeachable offenses. Doing this made Amash the first Republican to call for the process of removing the president from office to begin.

In a thread of tweets posted on May 18, the constitutionally consistent Amash first made public his assertion that “President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment.”

Following that tweet, Amash offered evidence that he said led him to this extraordinary conclusion.

First, Amash wrote that “Mueller’s report identifies multiple examples of conduct satisfying all the elements of obstruction of justice, and undoubtedly any person who is not the president of the United States would be indicted based on such evidence.”

Republican Michigan State Rep. Jim Lower announced he will mount a challenge to Amash’s seat, which he has held since 2011, specifically citing those comments.

Rep. Al Green fears Trump 'will get re-elected' if he's not impeached

Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, one of the first lawmakers who called for President Trump's impeachment, expressed his fears on Saturday that if Democrats don't pursue his ousting, Trump "will get re-elected."

Green was asked on MSNBC about how unpopular impeachment was among voters. MSNBC correspondent Phillip Mena pressed him with recent polling numbers from Quinnipiac showing 66 percent of voters were against impeachment -- including 38 percent of Democrats and 70 percent of independents.

"Are you concerned that impeachment talk may actually help the president's re-election?" Mena asked.

Judge Nap: Trump Guilty of Obstruction!

***
Last week, Attorney General William Barr released publicly a redacted version of Mueller’s final report. That report concluded that notwithstanding 127 confirmed communications between the campaign and Russians from July 2015 to November 2016 (Trump said there were none), the government could not prove the existence of a conspiracy.

Obstruction is a rare crime that is rarely completed. Stated differently, the obstructer need not succeed in order to be charged with obstruction. That’s because the statute itself prohibits attempting to impede or interfere with any government proceeding for a corrupt or self-serving purpose.

Thus, if my neighbor tackles me on my way into a courthouse in order to impede a jury from hearing my testimony>>>

Apr 25 10:11

The Democrats Divide on Impeachment

The release of the Mueller report has left Democrats in a dilemma. For consider what Robert Mueller concluded after two years of investigation.

Candidate Donald Trump did not conspire or collude with the Russians to hack the emails of the DNC or John Podesta. Trump did not distribute the fruits of those crimes. Nor did anyone in his campaign. On collusion and conspiracy, said Mueller, Trump is innocent.

Mueller did not say Trump did not consider interfering with his investigation. But the investigation went on unimpeded. Mueller’s document demands were all met. And Mueller did not conclude that Trump obstructed justice.

On obstruction, then, not guilty, by reason of no indictment.

We are told Trump ranted to subordinates about firing Mueller.

Yet, as Attorney General Bill Barr pointed out, Trump had excellent reasons to be enraged. He was being pilloried for 2 1/2 years for a crime he not only did not commit but a crime that had never taken place.

A Judge Just Delivered Some Extremely Bad News About Impeachment

Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano’s commentary during the Mueller investigation consistently sounded an alarm bell for Donald Trump.

Judge Napolitano felt Mueller was building a case that could cause problems for the President.

But that all changed when Attorney General William Barr revealed the main findings of the two year-long Mueller investigation—no collusion and no determination on obstruction of justice.

That led Napolitano to conclude that the legal jeopardy for President Trump had passed and that if Democrats proceeded with impeachment, they were signing their own political death warrant.

Hillary, revitalized by Mueller's 'obstruction' theories, hypes 'roadmap' to impeachment

Hillary Clinton has blamed Justice Department rules for the Mueller report's failure to indict President Donald Trump, declaring the "roadmap" to an obstruction charge is there in plain sight, should Congress choose to pursue it.

"I think there is enough there that any other person who had engaged in those acts would certainly have been indicted," Clinton told an audience at the Time 100 summit, insisting the Mueller report, despite its failure to substantiate the criminal accusations leveled against the president, was merely "the end of the beginning" of what could be a beautiful impeachment – if Congress plays its cards right.

Former FBI Counsel: Top Officials Discussed Wearing Wire, 25th Amendment to OUST TRUMP

James Baker, the former top lawyer for the FBI, testified that officials had a “list” of options in dealing with President Trump following then-FBI Director James Comey’s firing. The list reportedly included wearing a wire or invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office.

The revelation was made during the second day of testimony by Baker regarding the Russia probe in October. House Republicans released a transcript of the shocking statements on Tuesday.

On the first day of Baker’s testimony, a day which one lawmaker described as “explosive,” he insisted that outgoing Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s reported idea to record the President and use the evidence to push Trump out of office was quite serious.

According to the New York Times, memos written by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe show that Rosenstein offered to wear a wire during meetings with Trump.

Maxine Waters Admits Defeat: ‘Impeaching Trump is off the Table’

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), who has been calling for President Donald Trump's impeachment since he took office in 2016, has admitted there is no longer any point in pursuing the 'pipe dream.'Waters, who became a leading Democrat in the anti-Trump "Resistance" in Congress, and famously said she had been 'sent by God to stop Trump,' frequently called for the president's impeachment before the conclusion of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. But the Democrat's priorities seem to have changed.

Maxine Waters Says Impeachment Has ‘Never Been Discussed’

In a stunning admission, Rep. Maxine Waters has claimed that impeachment of President Trump has “never been discussed” as a serious strategy among Democrats.

Waters entire public profile has been expanded within the resistance party because of her repeated unhinged calls for harassment of Trump officials as well as the President’s impeachment.

It seems as if her hopes and dreams, however, have been significantly dashed following the release of findings in the special counsel’s investigation into Russian collusion. Poor Maxine must have seen that there was no collusion, no evidence of obstruction, and no more indictments coming, even for process crimes as the others have seen, and is now markedly changing her tune.

Now, according to Politico, she wants to focus on getting her hands on the report itself. Interesting strategy, trying to get facts first and then making a determination. Too little, too late.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib Still Pushing For Trump Impeachment

Rep. Rashida Tlaib is reportedly still looking for co-sponsors and supporters for her resolution to investigate President Trump for impeachable offenses.

This, despite the fact that a summary of the Mueller investigation into Russian collusion exonerated Trump and his campaign from colluding with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

Tlaib is apparently still super-committed to her own words, in which she vowed to “impeach the motherf****r.”

In a letter to House Democrats, Tlaib pushed for lawmakers to create a commission that would “inquire whether President Trump committed impeachable offenses.”

“I, firmly, believe that the House Committee on Judiciary should seek out whether President Trump has committed ‘High crimes and Misdemeanors’ as designated by the U.S. Constitution and if the facts support those findings, that Congress begin impeachment proceedings,” Tlaib wrote.

Top US General Denies Plans to Leave 1,000 Troops in Syria

US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Joe Dunford issued a statement Monday denying weekend media reports that the US plans to leave around 1,000 troops in Syria, saying the reports are “factually incorrect.”

Dunford presented the current planned “residual force” as 200, saying that this hadn’t changed since February. The US announced 200 would stay on February 21, but on February 22 officially increased that number to 400.

It’s not clear from Dunford’s statement where the “incorrect” aspect of the new report, which came out of a Wall Street Journal, exists. That report suggested that the 1,000 figure was not yet finalized, but was being discussed. Dunford’s comments didn’t include any details on what is actually being discussed, but just that nothing was finalized.

I think the multiple troop numbers being given, are simply a way of creating confusion about how many US troops the US does have in Syria.

Pelosi waves off impeachment, says it would divide country

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is setting a high bar for impeachment of President Donald Trump, saying he is “just not worth it” even as some on her left flank clamor to start proceedings.

Pelosi said in an interview with The Washington Post that “I’m not for impeachment” of Trump.

“Unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country,” she said.

While she has made similar comments before, Pelosi is making clear to her caucus and to voters that Democrats will not move forward quickly with trying to remove Trump from office. And it’s a departure from her previous comments that Democrats are waiting on special counsel Robert Mueller to lay out findings from his Russia investigation before considering impeachment.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Yes, an attempt at impeachment could trigger massive civil unrest, but I think the real reason Pelosi is backing off impeachment if that they have nothing to impeach Trump for, and in any event, the Senate would not remove Trump, making the impeachment effort appear to be a failure of the Democrats.

'Road map to impeachment': Dems cast wide net in bid to take down Trump

Congressional Democrats demanded Monday that the president let them interview the translators who were there for his unorthodox meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as Democrats expanded their election-season attempt to paint Mr. Trump as a criminal.

Chairmen of the House Oversight, Foreign Affairs and intelligence committees said that in addition to the translators, they want to talk with anyone who was briefed — orally or in writing — about Trump-Putin meetings, and they also demanded to see all documents stemming from the talks.

Their demands came just hours after Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler issued document requests to 81 people or entities in the Trump orbit, on everything from hirings and firings to pardons and presidential emoluments to negotiations with Russia before, during and after the election.

Democrats Omar and Tlaib Become First to Sign Pledge to Impeach Trump

The progressive group “By the People” has put together a pledge to impeach President Donald Trump and Democratic Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are the first members of Congress to sign it.

“By the People’ ‘came together because we saw that millions of Americans want the Trump Administration removed from office,” the organization’s “About Us” section reads. “We are committed to ending this administration and creating a country that lives up to its founding ideals.”

Tuesday morning, ABC News’ Ben Seigel reported that Omar and Tliab were the first to sign on to the impeachment effort.

US House Launches Plan to Oust Trump With Testimony From Cohen – Lawmaker

Democrats in the US House of Representatives are beginning a campaign to oust President Donald Trump from office, with former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s testimony to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the committee’s senior Republican Congressman Jim Jordan charged on Thursday.

"Chairman [Elijah] Cummings first major hearing will feature Michael Cohen as phase one of the Democrats’ coordinated campaign to remove the president from office," Jordan said in a press release.

Cummings took over the Oversight Committee after Democrats gained control of the House in November’s mid-term elections.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Small technicality. The House can impeach, but only the Senate can remove.

The Most Interesting Man In The World: Two Faces On The Same Coin

Before the big game there’s a coin toss and by the luck of the draw, decisions are made even before the teams take the field. It is the same for politics with, perhaps, the exception of luck having anything to do with the outcomes. Regardless, the games play on our screens and we passively watch; anxiously waiting to see what happens.

It’s an all-or-nothing blitz to score big and winners take all. In the interim, there are the commercial breaks revealing ads refined by the fires of focus groups and in boardrooms.

He’s a man of the moment; not the first, and he won’t be the last.

Police Are Now Seeking The Removal Of Nancy Pelosi

America, we have a problem.

There is someone who needs to be impeached, fired, and removed from office.
There is a very particular leader in our country that is refusing to do the job that she was elected by the American people to do.
Not only is she refusing to do her job, her policies are dangerous for LEO’s and treasonous to America. We can no longer sit idly by and be abused by this woman and her selfish ideas of how she thinks America should be.
Friday President Trump announced that he would be signing a temporary deal that would fund our federal government until February 15, 2019 in order to make sure federal government employees would get paid.

On First Day in Control of the House, Democrat Brad Sherman Will Introduce Articles of Impeachment

Rep. Brad Sherman, a California Democrat, is planning on bringing forward articles of impeachment against President Trump on Thursday, day one of the Democrat Party’s takeover of the House.

Sherman previously introduced the measure in 2017, but with his party now in power in the House, the effort takes on new meaning.

The Democrat’s ploy at the time hinged on the President’s alleged obstruction of justice by firing then-FBI director James Comey, saying the dismissal amounted to a ‘high crime and misdemeanor.’

Firing Trump takes center stage as Democrats reclaim House majority: California congressman files article of impeachment on Day One claiming president obstructed justice by giving James Comey the axe

A California Democratic congressman is using his party's first day controlling the House of Representatives to file an impeachment resolution against President Donald Trump.

Rep. Brad Sherman introduced an identical bill in 2017, charging that Trump obstructed justice when he fired FBI Director James Comey just months after moving into the White House.

The resolution accuses Trump of 'threatening, and then terminating' Comey because he knew the FBI was investigating then-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and 'conducting one or more investigations into Russian state interference in the 2016 campaign.'

Sherman told the Los Angeles Times that 'there is no reason' Congress shouldn't consider impeachment: 'Every day, Donald Trump shows that leaving the White House would be good for our country.'

Webmaster's Commentary:

The House can (and probably will) impeach, but the Senate will not convict.

Nancy Pelosi Says Trump Impeachment, Indictment Are Not Off the Table

Presumptive Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi refused to rule out presidential impeachment and indictment in a nationally-syndicated interview the morning before assuming power.

Pelosi was asked in an interview on “Today” if she agreed with the Department of Justice guidelines that hold that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

She answered with equivocation: “No, I do not.”

Do Russiagate promoters prefer impeaching Trump to avoiding war with Russia? - Stephen Cohen

Stephen Cohenreflects on major developments in 2018, in part drawing on themes in his new book War with Russia? From Putin and Ukraine to Trump and Russiagate.

The new Cold War is not a mere replica of its 40-year predecessor, which the world survived. In vital ways, it is more dangerous, more fraught with actual war, as illustrated by events in 2018, among them:

One New Poll Has Pelosi And Schumer On The Verge Of This Devastating Defeat

“Impeachment” has become the most popular word for Democrats ever since Trump took office.

Democratic voters, politicians, and even potential presidential candidates have spent two years falling over each other to see who can promise Trump’s impeachment the quickest.

But a new poll shows Democrats will soon regret talk of impeaching Trump.

A new poll by McLaughlin & Associates suggests Democrats encouraging talk of impeachment should think twice.

Over half of the respondents to the poll said they think talk of impeaching the President in Democratic circles is nothing more than a “partisan political ploy,” reports the Washington Times.

Democrats poised to make historic impeachment push, after dust from midterms settles

Democrats are increasingly whispering about the possibility of impeaching President Trump if they regain control of the House of Representatives in November, even as top Republicans openly suggest the move would backfire politically.

The wait-and-see approach to drafting articles of impeachment comes as voter pressure from the base rises. A late-August Washington Post-ABC poll found nearly 50 percent of Americans support immediate impeachment proceedings against the president. Four in 10 residents of Ohio, which Trump carried in the 2016 presidential election, said this week that the House should consider impeaching Trump, according to a Suffolk University poll.

Outside In: The Trump administration’s plan to remake the Middle East

The only promise that is new about the promised peace plan is the way it will be forced on the Palestinians: no one has promised that the plan itself will be new. With Saudi Arabia and Egypt—the outside—brought onside with the promise of continued military aid despite their crimes against humanity and violations of international law and the Palestinians weakened by being silenced, economically crushed and stripped of any friends to help them, the United States and Israel are now free to attempt to impose a peace plan on the Palestinians.

Iran WARNING: US tells airlines not to fly through airspace as WW3 fears rise

The advisory also warns military activities linked to the bloody conflict in Syria have been ramped across Iran's airspace.

Tensions between Tehran and Washington are running high following Donald Trump’s controversial decision to pull out of the landmark Iran nuclear deal re-introduce economic sanctions last month.

Flight Service Bureau, which provides safety information on airspace to airlines, said "without seeming alarmist", the deteriorating relationship between the US and Iran must be taken into account when planning flights in Iran's airspace.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is getting just about as serious as is a heart attack: I find myself very alarmed at these developments.

Sean Hannity Warns That Democrats Could Retake the House of Representatives

It’s hard to deny that Republicans are in a hard spot going into November. The Democrats are energized and ready to impeach President Trump. Even Democrat leaders have basically hinted that he’s in their crosshairs.

It’s not fun to hear, but sometimes raw emotion can be a better motivator tool in politics than economic performance. And right now, Democrats are tapping a huge reservoir of angst.
