Pence Refuses to Invoke the 25th Amendment

Vice President Mike Pence said that he refuses to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office, saying that it would set a “terrible precedent.”

In a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Pence said that he does not believe that invoking the 25th Amendment is in the best interest of the nation or consistent with the Constitution.

“With just eight days left in the President’s term, you and the Democratic Caucus are demanding that the Cabinet and I invoke the 25th Amendment,” he wrote. “I do not believe that such a course of action is in the best interest of our Nation or consistent with our Constitution.”

A few Big Tech companies acted to remove social media platform Parler over the weekend, but it seems to have found a new company to help try to keep its website operating.

On Monday, Parler registered its field and server to be hosted by Epik, an internet web hosting company known for working with right-leaning websites. Gab, another social media platform popular with conservatives, also uses Epik. A web domain search reveals that Parler is now registered with Epik.

Ethiopia to establish new dam in Amhara region

Ethiopia has announced that it will establish a new dam, with a capacity to store 55 million cubic meters of water, amid an escalating dispute with Egypt and Sudan over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).

The country’s Minister of Water, Irrigation and Energy, Seleshi Bekele, and the Head of the Amhara Regional State, Agegnehu Teshager, lay the foundation stone for the new Agma dam, on Saturday.

The dam, which is located in the country’s northern Amhara region and is set to cost about $125m, will be 45 metres high and 371 metres long, Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation reported. It added that a total of 7,000 hectares of land will be reclaimed as part of the project.

The dam’s construction will be implemented by the China Civil Engineering Corporation (CCEC), in cooperation with a number of local companies. Located on the Agma River in the Blue Nile Basin, the project is scheduled to be completed within three years.

Netflix’s new crack cocaine documentary is addicted to pushing a racist agenda & ignores CIA’s role in US’ 80s drugs crisis

A new documentary, Crack: Cocaine, Corruption & Conspiracy, reflects how drugs took a grip of America 40 years ago. But it lacks insight and profundity because it studiously avoids the hard questions in favor of easy answers.
Crack: Cocaine, Corruption & Conspiracy, directed by Stanley Nelson, recounts the rise of crack cocaine in the 1980s and the US’ calamitous War on Drugs unleashed in response to it.

Cocaine, corruption and conspiracy are three things I can’t get enough of, so when this documentary was released on Netflix on January 11, I dove right in. The movie certainly lives up to its name, as it does chronicle cocaine and corruption, but when it tries to tackle conspiracy, it stumbles noticeably.

The film opens strongly with a chapter titled Greed is Good, which highlights the ties between the muscular American capitalism of the Reagan revolution of the 1980s and the explosion of the drug trade in the country’s inner cities.

Storms of Protest in Washington and Hong Kong

The coverage of groups of people, described as mobs, rioters, or protestors depending on one’s prejudice or adherence to accurate reporting, who “stormed” the Capitol in Washington and the Legislative Council in Hong Kong is revealing for how media and politicians react.

The American media ran headlines such as:

“Trump supporters storm Capitol,” Washington Post
“Inside the mob that swarmed the US Capitol,” CNN
“A pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol in Washington,” LA Times
“In Photos: Mob Storms U.S. Capitol Building” New York Times
“Pro-Trump mob sends US Capitol into chaos,” Chicago Tribune
State/corporate media headlines were similar in Canada and the UK.

Hundreds of coronavirus versions may coexist in human body, says scientist

A propensity of the coronavirus to mutate in case of a weakened immunity may lead to an emergence of hundreds of new mutations of the virus in a single body which do not increase death risks for a patient but may be more contagious or resistant to treatment, Director of Kazan Federal University’s Research Clinical Center for Precision and Regenerative Medicine Albert Rizvanov told TASS on Tuesday.

Earlier, the media reported of a Russian patient with a malignant lymphoma who had the coronavirus infection for a long time. Some 18 versions of the virus were detected in her system. The scientist noted that mutations in the body of a carrier are normal for all viruses. This process occurs due to flaws in its genetic apparatus: when self-replicating, the virus makes mistakes which result in slight changes in the genetic code of its copies.

Pompeo Abruptly Cancels Europe Trip After EU "Extraordinary Snub" In Wake Of Capitol Unrest

What's being called "an extraordinary snub" to the Trump administration by EU leaders has resulted in US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issuing a last minute cancelation of his scheduled trip to Europe which had been set for Wednesday.

"Luxembourg’s foreign minister and top European Union officials declined to meet him, European diplomats and other people familiar with the matter said," according to Reuters.

Forbes Magazine is slammed for 'cancel culture' op-ed warning companies NOT to hire any ex-Trump administration members

Forbes Magazine has been criticized for an op-ed warning companies against hiring any ex-Trump administration members.

Independent Women's Forum analyst Kelsey Bolar slammed the article published on January 7, calling it 'dangerous cancel culture', 'that is not going to unite the nation.'

In the wake of last week's Capitol riots, Forbes Magazine's editor Randall Lane wrote: 'As American democracy rebounds, we need to return to a standard of truth when it comes to how the government communicates with the governed.

'The easiest way to do that, from where I sit, is to create repercussions for those who don't follow the civic norms,' Lane wrote.

'Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump's fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie.'

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo chastises Voice of America over ‘wokeness’

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo chastised the Voice of America for its “wokeness,” accusing the taxpayer-funded broadcaster of engaging in censorship similar to Big Tech’s, and called for the agency to tout American exceptionalism and democracy.

The US’ top diplomat noted during a speech to VOA staff, aired around the world in more than 40 languages, that many of them didn’t want him to speak at the agency on Monday.

“They didn’t want the voice of American diplomacy to be broadcast on the Voice of America. Think about that for just a moment. Look, we’re all parts of institutions with duties and responsibilities higher and bigger and more important than any one of us individually. But this kind of censorial instinct is dangerous. It’s morally wrong. Indeed, it’s against your statutory mandate here at VOA,” Pompeo said.

'Hypocrisy at Its Finest': Twitter Under Fire Over Pelosi Tweet Claiming 2016 Election 'Hijacked'

Last Friday, Twitter permanently banned Donald Trump's personal account, claiming that his tweets contain a "glorification of violence", a reference to the 6 January events which saw POTUS supporters breach the Capitol to prevent Congress from certifying the election results.

Netizens have accused Twitter of double standards, reacting angrily to a resurfaced tweet by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from May 2017 and containing claims the 2016 US presidential election "was hijacked".

The tweet was posted in the run-up to Robert Mueller's appointment as special counsel to investigate allegations of collusion between Russian officials and the Trump campaign in 2016. The probe found insufficient evidence to substantiate such collusion.

Despite the flurry of reporting from the mainstream press suggesting that WikiLeaks and its publisher conspired with foreign actors to 'interfere' in the 2016 US presidential elections, unredacted pages of the Mueller Report revealed that officials never found sufficient evidence to even charge Julian Assange.

Unredacted portions of US Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report into the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election reveal that the former FBI director had “insufficient” evidence to bring charges against Julian Assange and WikiLeaks for being part of any conspiracy, either with Donald Trump's campaign or the Russian state.

Biden Returns Donation from Dem Ex-Senator Who Registered as Foreign Agent for China

Joe Biden’s inaugural committee has returned a donation from former senator Barbara Boxer, a California Democrat who registered as a foreign agent for Chinese surveillance firm Hikvision, Axios reported on Tuesday.

The Trump administration alleged in June that Hikivision is owned or controlled by the Chinese military. The Commerce Department blacklisted Hikivision in 2019 for its alleged involvement in China’s repression of Uyghurs in Xinjiang Province.

Hikivision cameras are reportedly used to surveil Uyghurs the Chinese government has imprisoned concentration camps. The company’s equipment is also used throughout the U.S., including on military bases, The Wall Street Journal reported in 2017.

Boxer’s donation to Biden was just $500, however Biden’s inaugural committee does not accept donations from foreign agents, a committee spokesperson told Axios.

EXC: Biden Personnel Chief Served At Chinese Intel Org Flagged By FBI For Recruiting Western Spies

Thomas Zimmerman, who will serve as a Special Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel under Joe Biden, formerly served as a visiting scholar at what the FBI has called a “front group for Chinese intelligence collection and overseas spy recruitment,” The National Pulse can reveal.

While at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation, Zimmerman also served as a fellow at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, flagged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for its close ties to the Chinese Communist Party’s top spy agency, the Ministry of State Security.

The Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), which the FBI views as a “front group for Chinese intelligence collection and overseas spy recruitment,” was involved in a 2019 criminal case involving a retired Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operative selling classified U.S. defense documents to China.

Analysis: The trillion dollar weapon in the U.S.-China tech stock war

The threat of a $1 trillion U.S. sanctions hit on the Chinese internet giants that have led emerging market stocks to their first record high since 2007 is overshadowing the rally, just as increased scrutiny from Beijing itself squeezes valuations.

U.S.-Sino tensions ratcheted up in recent days as outgoing President Donald Trump’s administration pushed through a ban on Americans investing in 35 firms it considers to be linked to China’s military.

Sources in Washington last week said Trump was considering adding Alibaba and Tencent, worth a combined $1.3 trillion, the second and third biggest EM stocks in the world and held by almost every major U.S. investment fund, to the list of banned firms.

At last, we’ve reached the reckoning. Not long ago, it appeared that the Republican Party would press ahead under the Donald Trump banner even after he left office. Then this week hit with two stunning Senate losses in Georgia for the GOP, followed by a Trump rally that erupted into a riot as the president’s supporters stormed the Capitol in a bid to overturn a democratic election. They failed, but five people, including a police officer, died as a result. With the GOP facing complete Democratic control of Washington for the first time in a decade and many Trump administration figures jumping ship as fast as they can, the question has become more urgent: Where does the party go from here? Does it splinter or evolve into something else? In this Sunday Magazine, we pick the brains of everyone from OZY readers to leading Republicans.

Israel Continues to Attack Syria as Tehran Awaits Biden Administration

In the fourth series of Israeli strikes on Syrian soil in the past two weeks, warplanes hit the border region near Iraq in Deir Ezzor Province, hitting warehouses near Abu Kamal, which media claim were being used by Shi’ite militias.

Israel and the Israeli press present Shi’ite militias as Iranians, though in practice the militias in this area are almost exclusively Iraqi PMF fighters who crossed in to continue fighting against ISIS.

With Iran looking to wait out the Trump Administration, and with high hopes for a diplomacy reset with Biden, Israel is stepping up the attacks on Iran, or perceived Iranian targets, to try to stir things up at the last minute.

US Cancels UN Envoy’s Trip to Taiwan

A planned trip to Taiwan by US Ambassador to the UN Kelly Craft was canceled on Tuesday, along with all travel by the Trump administration’s State Department this week.

Craft was expected to begin her trip to Taiwan on Wednesday. The planned visit was announced by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo last week, who is looking to stoke tensions with Beijing as much as possible before Joe Biden is inaugurated.

Pompeo also announced last week that he was lifting the State Department’s restrictions on official US contacts with Taiwan that have been in place since Washington severed diplomatic ties with Taipei in 1979.

Craft’s trip would have marked the third high-level US visit to Taiwan since August, when Health Secretary Alex Azar visited the island, making him the highest-level US official to do so since 1979.

We’re All Prisoners of War Now

America has essentially been at war, nonstop, since the weeks after the 9/11 attacks. Those “forever wars,” as they’re now commonly called, have been both truly distant from and eerily close to us, far away and yet a deeply embedded part of American life. And here, to my mind, is the strangest thing: those rare figures who, as citizens (or in one case an outsider), managed to reach into the heart of the American-war and national-security states and reveal something of what was actually being done in our names have suffered grim fates indeed.

The Trump Administration’s Parting Outrage Against Cuba

On January 11, in his final days before leaving office, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo added one parting blow to the series of bludgeons his administration has inflicted on Cuba for four years: putting the island on the list of "state sponsors of terror" that includes only Iran, North Korea and Syria. The designation drew swift condemnation from policymakers and humanitarian groups as a decision widely characterized as "politically motivated." It comes six years after the Obama administration had removed Cuba from the same list as part of his policy of rapprochement.

FYI Trump's Latest Yemen Move Is Far Worse Than The Capitol Riot

While the Capitol riot is being hysterically compared to Pearl Harbor and Kristallnacht by the political/media class, the Trump administration has done something far, far worse that is receiving far, far less attention.

The US State Department has officially announced its intention to designate Yemen's Houthis as a terrorist group, as many had previously warned. Humanitarian organizations have been condemning the move as it will make it more difficult to provide aid to a population that is already being brutalized by the worst mass atrocity in the entire world, a Saudi-led atrocity which could not occur without the help of the western power alliance.

Prosecutors building sedition, conspiracy charges against some Capitol rioters

The Department of Justice is working to build sedition and conspiracy charges against some of the rioters who stormed the Capitol last week, the top federal prosecutor for Washington, D.C., said Tuesday.

Michael Sherwin, the acting U.S. attorney for D.C., said in a press conference that he has assembled a team of national security attorneys to explore some of the harshest charges his office could pursue in the wake of the riot that overran the Capitol and left five people dead Wednesday.

"Just yesterday, our office organized a strike force of very senior national security prosecutors and public corruption prosecutors," Sherwin told reporters. "Their only marching orders from me are to build seditious and conspiracy charges related to the most heinous acts that occurred in the Capitol."

Sedition charges can carry prison sentences of up to 20 years.

NYC DOE will scrap Gifted and Talented test after this year

The Department of Education ended the suspense around the city’s accelerated Gifted and Talented program Tuesday night, announcing that the single-test entry system will end after this year.

Parents have been clamoring for answers on the coveted programs that admit kids based on standardized exam scores beginning at age 4.

Backers say they give academically advanced kids the opportunity to learn at an appropriate pace and serve as an educational springboard.

Detractors counter that the admissions model favors families of means who are better able to prepare for the test and that the exam serves as a poor marker of talent in young children.

January 6th at Capitol Hill: Blowback and the Ongoing Crisis of Legitimacy

Two Januarys ago, an obscure politician from a minor political party named Juan Guaido assumed a one-month chairmanship of the Venezuelan National Assembly. Then he promptly declared himself the interim president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The bizarre declaration had no legal standing. But that did not stop the Trump administration and later, the European Union, from recognizing this fictional presidency.

For most in the world, this was yet another in a series of illegal U.S. efforts to control the politics of countries in the global South. Supporting dictators, overthrowing governments with violence and destroying nations have been at the center of each of the U.S. global policies since the United States became the leader of the colonial/capitalist Western alliance in 1945.

But as Malcolm X once said, “The chickens have come home to roost.”

Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Leidos halt political donations in wake of Jan. 6 riot

Northrop Grumman on Monday became the first major defense contractor to pause political donations to members of Congress, as a wave of corporate entities react after the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill. But it does not seem to be the last.

“We are pausing political action committee giving and evaluating the way forward,” Northrop spokesman Tim Paynter told Defense News Monday evening.

On Tuesday morning, Leidos — the 23rd largest defense firm in the world, according to the annual Defense News Top 100 — followed suit. In a statement, Leidos chairman and CEO Roger Krone said “Violence, lawlessness, and anarchy have no place in our nation. We believe in civil political discourse and the fundamental right to peacefully protest, but strongly condemn violence or intimidation. In light of these events, Leidos’ Political Action Committee (PAC) has decided to temporarily pause all political donations.”

In Search of Enemies. Joe Biden’s Foreign Policy and National Security Team

What occurred at the United States Capitol last week was surely reprehensible, but to my mind the real enduring damage that was done to our form of government took place in a basement in Wilmington Delaware where president-designate Joe Biden was putting together some of the final pieces of his foreign policy and national security team.

Hopes that the Democrats would accommodate their progressive wing to some extent by backing off of the aggressive “American first” policies pursued by Donald Trump and Mike Pompeo were extinguished with the elevation of Wendy Sherman and Victoria Nuland to the number two and three senior positions at the State Department, to back up Secretary of State designate Tony Blinken.

Twitter’s Ban on Trump Will Deepen the US Tribal Divide

Anyone who believes locking President Donald Trump out of his social media accounts will serve as the first step on the path to healing the political divide in the United States is likely to be in for a bitter disappointment.

The flaws in this reasoning need to be peeled away, like the layers of an onion.

Twitter’s decision to permanently ban Trump for, among other things, “incitement of violence” effectively cuts him off from 88 million followers. Facebook has said it will deny Trump access to his account till at least the end of his presidential term.

The act of barring an elected president, even an outgoing one, from the digital equivalent of the public square is bound to be every bit as polarising as allowing him to continue tweeting.

These moves threaten to widen the tribal divide between the Democratic and Republican parties into a chasm, and open up a damaging rift among liberals and the left on the limits of political speech.

Patriot Act 2, Censorship, and Other Notes from the Edge of the Narrative Matrix

Patriot Act 2.0 will be rolled out with a lot of mindless bleating about white supremacists and fighting fascism, and the actual policies and laws put into place will have virtually nothing to do with any of those things. They will be geared at preventing the revolutionary changes that need to be pushed for in the United States by the American people.

Listening to US politicians and pundits the last few years you’d assume it’s been raining actual 9/11s and Pearl Harbors in America 24/7.

“Our democracy has been attacked!” screamed the political establishment that just forced you to choose between Donald Trump and Democrat Donald Trump for president.

Saying there’s been an attack on American democracy is like saying there’s been an attack on Kazakhstan’s fjords.

Israel is an 'apartheid' state, says the country's leading human rights group

Israel is an “apartheid” state operating to advance “the supremacy of the Jews over the Palestinians”, a leading Israeli human rights group said on Tuesday, breaking from the consensus, even among Israel's left, that the country is a democracy.

In an eight-page report entitled “A regime of Jewish supremacy from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea: This is apartheid”, B’Tselem described all of present-day Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories as being organised “under a single principle: advancing and cementing the supremacy of one group - Jews - over another - Palestinians”.

“By geographically, demographically and physically engineering space, the regime enables Jews to live in a contiguous area with full rights, including self-determination, while Palestinians live in separate units and enjoy fewer rights.

GoFundMe bans travel fundraising for political events that have 'risk of violence'

GoFundMe will no longer let users raise money to travel to political events that could turn violent, the company said Tuesday, after Trump supporters used the site to raise money for last week's attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Twitter suspends 70,000 accounts sharing QAnon content

Twitter has suspended more than 70,000 accounts since Friday that were primarily dedicated to sharing QAnon content after last week’s violence in Washington when supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol.

The Pentagon won’t say how many COVID-19 vaccines it’s given to troops

Millions of doses of COVID-19 vaccine have shipped out around the country, including to more than 100 military installations, but the Defense Department has declined to share how many service members have received it.

At the same time, hundreds of thousands of doses have gone unused nationwide, according to reports from states like California, New York, Texas and more. While DoD announced in December that 44,000 inoculations would go out in its first round, the Pentagon has not released figures on how many troops have been vaccinated.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccination tracking site shows that 376,150 doses have gone out across installations, and 139,439 have been administered.

F-35 Stealth Jet Still Has 871 Flaws Including Some "Potentially Serious Issues"

The Lockheed Martin F-35 stealth fighter jet has 871 software and hardware flaws that could affect combat operations, according to Bloomberg, citing a report from the Pentagon's testing office.

"The F-35 continues to have many flaws. Many of those flaws have already been discovered during the development and testing phase, which ended with 941 flaws in April 2018," Robert Behler, the director of operational testing, said in a new assessment seen by Bloomberg.

The assessment outlines the long list of flaws - down two from 873 that Behler reported last year.

Ten out of the 871 unresolved deficiencies found by Boehler are "potentially serious issues," Bloomberg writes. These "Category 1" issues could endanger the pilot or aircraft safety or diminish combat effectiveness against Chinese or Russian stealth fighters.

L.A. County Tells Residents To Wear Masks Inside Own Homes

More insane and looming unconstitutional Covid-lockdown overreach, once again out of hard hit L.A. county where cases are surging:

Things are so bad in Los Angeles County that health officials are now advising all essential workers to wear masks inside their own home to prevent spreading Covid-19 within their household.

As if instances where some cities across the globe began previously enforcing mask-wearing outdoors wasn't bad enough, the L.A. health recommendation now advises people to mask up inside their own homes.

Russia Holds More Gold Than Dollars For First Time In History

According to a Central Bank of Russia report published this week and analyzed by Bloomberg, gold made up 23% of the Central Bank of Russia’s reserves as of the end of June. The bank’s share of dollar assets dropped to 22%. In 2018, more than 40% of Russian reserves were in dollars.

Russia’s gold holdings eclipsed its dollar reserves last year despite a halt in gold purchases. This was partly due to an increase in the value of its gold holdings with the rise in gold prices, and partly a function of the central bank’s continued efforts to shed dollar assets.

In a Monday night blog post, Twitter laid out all the latest details of a historic purge that started with the permanent suspension of President Donald Trump. Isn’t it odd how none of those considerations emerged during the summer when United States cities were literally burning as a result of countless violent protests and frequent riots?

According to a report by ZeroHedge, the Great Purge, which is a big tech censorship campaign rivaled only by that of Nazi Germany’s, has begun. With the suspension of 70,000 accounts since Friday, the crackdown on dissent and those who know they are being lied to propagandized is here. The Orwellian dystopia we were all warned about has arrived.

Pompeo Accuses Iran of al-Qaeda Ties

On Tuesday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed without evidence that Iran is al-Qaeda’s “new home base,” recycling an old talking point of an al-Qaeda-Iran alliance that has been repeatedly debunked.

Sources first told Reuters about the planned speech on Monday night and said Pompeo was poised to make the accusation despite skepticism in Congress and US intelligence agencies. A former US intelligence official told Reuters that Iran was never friendly with al-Qaeda before or after 9/11, and that “any claims of current cooperation should be viewed warily.”

Despite the doubt, Pompeo still made the claim. Hurling accusations at Iran without evidence is nothing new for the secretary of state. Tuesday’s speech was part of his effort to ramp up the pressure on Iran as much as possible before Joe Biden in inaugurated on January 20th.

Iran Calls for Drop of ‘Snapback’ Sanctions in Future Talks

A senior aide to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that “snapback” sanctions should be dropped in any future negotiations over the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA.

Snapback mechanisms are part of the JCPOA that can trigger UN sanctions on Iran. The US tried to invoke snapback sanctions in 2020, but the UN Security Council rejected the move because the US was no longer a party to the deal, having withdrawn in 2018.

Khamenei’s aide, Ali Akbar Velayati, spoke out against the snapback measures in an interview that was published on Monday. “This (trigger) mechanism must be abandoned as an irrational principle in the event of further negotiations,” he said.

Report: Israel Plotting How to Sabotage Biden’s Return to Iran Deal

With the incoming Biden administration expected to return to diplomacy with Iran, Israeli officials are working on ways to sabotage a revival of the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the JCPOA.

An Israeli source told Bloomberg that Israeli officials are weighing their options and deciding between a public crusade against the JCPOA or a quieter strategy through behind-the-scenes engagement with the Biden administration. In the coming weeks, Israel is expected to send a stream of envoys to Washington to discuss the JCPOA.

Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have made their opposition to Biden’s known. Reports from Israeli media said Netanyahu is at odds with Defense Minister Benny Gantz over handling Biden’s Iran policy.

NHS doctors instructed to postpone routine care and administer covid-19 vaccines instead

The British Medical Association and The National Health Services (NHS) have instructed general practitioners to postpone routine checkups and administer covid-19 vaccines instead. Healthcare systems around the world have been radically transformed in 2020, as family and friends are barred from their loved ones and conditioned to believe that getting vaccinated is the only way people can make human contact again. Healthcare systems have been reorganized to reflect this belief system and the end game of coercive vaccination is here.

In the pandemonium, private healthcare has become a top-down dictatorship, as experimental injections take precedence over all other forms of healthcare.

Major Power Outages in Iran

Jan 12 21:22

“655 people have $4 trillion in wealth. 200 million can’t cover a $1000 expense.”

The COVID pandemic has caused the gap between the ultra-wealthy and the rest of us to grow larger than it ever has been before. Thanks to the hyperinflationary policies of the Federal Reserve and our politicians in Washington, stock prices have soared to unprecedented heights in recent months. This pushed the wealth of the uber-rich to dizzying heights, but for the rest of the country 2020 was an unmitigated nightmare. As I have discussed previously, one survey found that 2020 was a “personal financial disaster” for 55 percent of all Americans. More than 110,000 restaurants shut down permanently last year, Americans filed more than 70 million claims for unemployment benefits, and tens of millions are potentially facing eviction in 2021. But even though we are mired in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s, those at the very top of the economic pyramid are laughing all the way to the bank.
