Delingpole: Olly Robbins Killed Brexit. Belgian Citizenship Is the Least He Deserves

I’m just having a quick whip-round to which I know many readers will be eager to contribute: it’s to raise money to help Olly Robbins begin a new life in Belgium.

Robbins, as you know, is the senior civil servant — Theresa May’s chief Brexit adviser — who has done so much to try to help ensure that Brexit doesn’t happen and that Britain remains stuck in the European Union till the end of time.

Now we know why: it turns out Robbins’s secret ambition is to live at the very heart of the EU project as a Belgian citizen.

We learn this from a BBC4 behind-the-scenes documentary about Brexit seen from the perspective of the EU’s negotiators. In it the EU’s Brexit chief Guy Verhofstadt — the curtain-haired slimeball, as The Sun fondly calls him — says that Robbins begged him for asylum.

Europe Rejects Iran "Ultimatums" Following Tehran's "60-Day Notice" On Sanctions Relief

The European Union says it rejects any ultimatums issued by Iran, saying in a statement that it won't bend to threats that Tehran will break from the nuclear deal and begin enriching uranium unless European signatories uphold their commitments within 60 days.

Citing frustration that the EU is not pulling its weight in the face of tightening US sanctions, Iran's leaders said Wednesday it would stop its disposal of excessive heavy water and uranium, a key compliance term under the JCPOA.

“We strongly urge Iran to continue to implement its commitments under the JCPoA in full as it has done until now and to refrain from any escalatory steps,” the EU officials said in a statement. The EU, UK, France and Germany said they have "great concern" over Iran's move.

Danish right-wingers recruit controversial candidates, as country gets ready for elections

The rise of the right-wing in Europe may be a tired cliche at this point. However, a new Danish party has courted fresh controversy for hiring some distinctly un-PC candidates, as the country goes to the polls next month.

Stram Kurs (Hard Line) will run for election for the first time in June. The party pushes a combined message of small-government libertarianism and “ethnonationalist utilitarianism.” The latter translates as a ban on Islam, an immediate withdrawal from refugee conventions, and the deportation of all asylum seekers and any “non-western persons.”

The party also favors a crackdown on Danes who “help alien enemies undermine Denmark,” presumably charities and NGOs. Hungary’s Viktor Orban spearheaded a similar crackdown with his ‘Stop Soros Act’ last year.

European banks, businesses warned by US official not to work with Iran

A US official is warning investors, banks and businesses in Europe not to work with Iran in the wake of the United States’ unilateral pressure on Tehran.

“If you’re a bank, an investor, an insurer or other business in Europe, you should know that getting involved in the INSTEX special purpose vehicle is a very poor business decision,” Tim Morrison, the National Security Council’s senior director for weapons of mass destruction and biodefense, said at a Foundation for Defense of Democracies on Wednesday.

The European Union has been trying to launch the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to allow its companies to continue business with Iran despite US sanctions, yet to no avail so far.

Ex-Polish President: It’s ‘Easier to Liquidate’ EU and ‘Start All Over Again’

The past few years have seen the EU face a whole array of problems, specifically pertaining to Brexit and refugees, something that has sparked differences between the bloc’s member states about how these pressing issues should be resolved.

In an interview with the Swedish tabloid Afronbladet, former Polish President Lech Walesa specifically claimed that the EU wasn't worth preserving in its current form.

“The EU was created in completely different conditions than those currently taking place. I have repeatedly warned Germany and France that the bloc cannot be saved if its member states go in different directions”, Walesa said.

Iran, Russia FMs urge Europeans to fulfill obligations for JCPOA survival

Tehran and Moscow have called on the European sides to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal to comply with their commitments to guarantee the survival of the agreement, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

After holding talks with his Russian counterpart in Moscow on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif attended a joint press conference with Sergei Lavrov, during which he said the nuclear deal's survival could be guaranteed if the agreement's European signatories fulfilled their obligations, which he said they had yet to fully honor.

Russia and China have fulfilled their obligations “but other countries, particularly the European sides to the JCPOA, have failed to honor their commitments," said Zarif.

The EU’s destructive “peace” partner

While the defenseless population of Gaza was being pummeled by the Israeli military on Saturday, the European Union’s foreign policy chief condemned the firing of rockets from the territory in a nakedly one-sided statement.

“These attacks provoke unspeakable suffering to the Israelis and serve only the cause of endless violence and of an endless conflict,” Federica Mogherini admonished, making no mention of the Palestinian victims of massive Israeli bombing.

“Together with the international community, we will keep working to bring relief to all those suffering from this conflict and cooperating with those who serve the cause of peace,” she added.

Woman Arrested in Poland for Defacing Icon of Virgin Mary with LGBT Rainbow

Police arrested a 51-year-old woman for profaning Poland’s most revered Catholic icon, the Madonna of Cz?stochowa, by painting an LGBT rainbow halo around her head and that of the baby Jesus.

On Monday, P?ock police detained El?bieta Podle?na over the alleged offence after investigators found several dozen posters of the Virgin Mary with the rainbow-colored halo in the woman’s home. The woman was later released.

Joachim Brudzi?ski, Poland’s interior minister, said on Twitter Monday that a person had been arrested for “carrying out a profanation of the Virgin Mary of Cz?stochowa.”

“Telling stories about freedom and ‘tolerance’ doesn’t give anyone the right to offend the feelings of believers,” said Brudzi?ski, who has described the posters as “cultural barbarism.”

What if Government Suddenly Disappeared?

By Peter C. Earle

If the strange and little-known case of the condominium of Moresnet — a wedge of disputed territory in Northwestern Europe, and arguably Europe’s counterpart to America’s so-called Wild West — acts as our guide, we must conclude that there is an inverse relationship between the size and scope of government and the potential for both peace and prosperity.

The remarkable experiment that was Moresnet was an indirect consequence of the Napoleonic Wars (1803–15), which, like all wars, empowered the governments of participating states at the expense of their populations: nationalism grew more fervent, many nations suspended specie payments indefinitely, and a new crop of destitute amputees appeared in streets all across Europe...

'Bunker Buster' Rocket Launchers Used In Army War Drill In Poland

The 358th Public Affairs Detachment said in a news release that soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, 66th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, conducted a field training exercise with anti-tank weapons amid deteriorating Russia–US relations.

On May 2, American forces gathered at the Johana Range, Poland, to fire the M136 AT4 Light Anti-Armor Weapon, an 84-mm unguided, portable, single-shot recoilless rocket launcher, which is one of the most common light anti-tank weapons in the world.

"Today's training gives the Soldier a familiarization with the weapon system," said US Army Staff Sgt. Larry W. Kirby, a squad leader assigned to Charlie Company, 3rd BN, 66th AR, 1ABCT, 1ID.

Europe Vows To Continue Buying Iranian Oil As US Revokes Export Waivers

As if to mark one year since President Trump formally withdrew from the JCPOA - better known as the "Iran Deal" - last May, the foreign ministers of the UK, France and Germany, as well as EU foreign policy head Federica Mogherini, on Saturday issued a statement condemning the White House's decision, and vowing once again to abide by the terms of the deal.

The statement is the latest sign that Trump's decision to reimpose sanctions on Iranian oil exports could set up the US for a showdown with its allies in Europe that could accelerate the de-dollarization of the global financial system, as Europe continues to work on an alternative payments system to the Treasury-dominated SWIFT network.

Austrians Describe ‘Feeling Like Foreigners’ in Their Own Country

Hundreds of regular Austrian citizens expressed to a national newspaper their views on migration, with some saying they felt like foreigners in their own country.

The comments flooded in, partly in reaction to populist Vice Chancellor Heinz-Christian Strache commenting on the concept of “population replacement” and in response to an opinion article in Austria’s largest newspaper Kronen Zeitung that agreed that demographic changes are a reality but which criticised Strache’s term for being a “conspiracy.”

Kronen Zeitung republished some of the “hundreds” of responses they received to the column with many readers saying they felt that mass migration had changed Austria to the point where some felt highly alienated.

“The mood in our condominium has deteriorated so much that we (65 and 68) are ready to move away to finally be able to live in peace again,” one comment read, while another lamented the trend of foreigners not learning the German language.

The Brussels conference set out to whitewash Israel’s policies

The European Union and donor countries held a conference yesterday to discuss a new financial proposal to solve the crisis of Israel deducting or “stealing” about $139 million of the tax revenues collected by the occupation state on the Palestinian Authority’s behalf. This is the amount that the PA pays as stipends to the families of prisoners and martyrs, and Israel’s reluctance to pay the cash puts the PA at risk of financial collapse.

The new proposal actually involves accepting Israel’s policy and convincing PA President Mahmoud Abbas to back down from his nationalist, principled position of refusing to accept the entire amount as long as Israel continues to use Palestinians’ money as a means to punish them and put pressure on the authority. What is this new mechanism? How does it serve Israel?

Mr Katainen was marking 15 years since Poland joined the EU, along with nine other countries, in 2004. Since that time Poland has received more than €100 billion for various projects, making it the single biggest recipient of EU funding in the bloc.

Italy And Hungary Forge Alliance To Defend Europe's Borders From Migrant Invasion

Authored by Jennie Taer via SaraCarter.com,

At their talks in Budapest on Thursday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini agreed on the importance of strong nation states, on the need to give priority in Europe to European culture based on Christian values, and on border defence.

At a joint press conference held with Mr. Salvini – who is also head of the Italian government party Lega – Mr. Orbán said they both believe the following:

that there will be no strong Europe without strong and successful nation states;

that on the continent priority must be given to European culture based on Christian values;

and that “Europe’s borders must be defended against the migrant invasion”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Soros is going to scream, that his "borderless Europe" is in shambles, but hey, Georgie, take a look around you.

How many infected, illiterate, innumerate illegal aliens, with incendiary tempers, and from societies where rape has been "normalized" for centuries, do you have living on properties you own?!?

I would almost be willing to bet, sir, that the number we are looking at, is one big, fat, hairy zero.

Too bad that you, of all people, do not want to be "culturally enriched" by that experience, as have people in the countries whose borders have been erased.

What defines the EU’s relations with Israel and the Palestinians?

As the Palestinian Authority’s financial deficit continues to get worse, the European Union has announced that it will be assisting humanitarian endeavours for Palestinians with an additional $24.7 million of aid. Federica Mogherini, the EU’s foreign policy chief, declared that the EU will retain its role as “the most reliable donor to the Palestinians.”

A reliable donor, however, does not compensate for the absence of a political partner which takes Palestinian demands seriously. The EU continues to distinguish between humanitarian aid for Palestinians and economic relations with Israel, putting the latter at a very distinct advantage.

Change of tack? EU quieter on latest failed Venezuela coup attempt as Guaido’s influence wanes

When the US announced support for Venezuela’s self-declared ‘interim president’ Juan Guaido in January, European leaders heartily backed the move — but three months later, after a second failed coup attempt, they are suddenly shy.

With US backing, Guaido attempted to launch a second uprising on Tuesday, urging his supporters to take to the streets and calling on the military to seize power from President Nicolas Maduro. While both pro and anti-government demonstrators held rallies in Caracas, the military did not defect in great numbers and the coup attempt fizzled out.

Italy Is Latest Country Seeking To Bring Their People’s Gold Home

European Central Bank’s President Mario Draghi recently announced that the ECB would be required to approve any management of gold reserves within the euro zone countries.

The statement was specifically directed at two Italian members. Why was Italy singled out?

According to the Wall Street Journal, Italian citizens are preparing to take control of Italy’s gold reserves. During the past few years, a multitude of small investors lost billions of dollars due to the failure of several Italian banks. The Bank of Italy is seen as an elitist, inefficient entity indifferent to the needs of ordinary people. Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio is leading the attack against Italy’s central bank, along with the “5 Star Movement” and the nationalist “League,” all of whom blame the countries financial woes on the incompetence of the central bank.

While Somalis are by far and wide the largest recipients of welfare, several other nationalities also have rates of over 50 per cent, such as Eritreans at 54.7 per cent and Angolans at 54 per cent.

Swedish Anti-Extremism Tsar Allows Returning ISIS Fighters Re-Entry As "Caring Citizens"

Authored by Jon Hall via FMShooter.com

According to officials in Stockholm, Swedish residents have nothing to fear from Islamic State fighters returning from the Middle East to live peaceful, crime-free lives in Sweden.

Christina Kiernan, Stockholm’s anti-violent extremism coordinator, claimed that jihadists who returned from Syria and Iraq were living “orderly lives” following public outcry regarding the government’s decision not to strip people who fought in radical Islamic terror organizations of their Swedish passports.

Kiernan said on a television interview this week:

The IS returnees we have talked to so far have no known current crime, they have a job and an orderly life to the extent that we do not have knowledge of activities that can in any way scare anyone…

The television interviewer fired back:

So they are returning from this type of business and becoming caring, well-behaved citizens?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Kiernan has just become a major accessory to the coming cultural suicide in Sweden, as we have seen in so so many other countries, where Sharia law rapidly, and rabidly, replaces the existing Laws of the Land.

Myths About Britain's 'Finest Hour'

There's a myth now about the British hanging together in those dark days [of 1939-1941]. "London can take it," Ed Murrow told America in his CBS broadcasts. Actually, morale was appalling. Most people correctly had little confidence in the competence of their government and thought Germany was going to win. In the Channel Islands, which the Nazis did take over, the people greeted them hospitably and turned in Jews with zest. The British Ministry of Information employed 10,000 people to read people's mail surreptitiously, intercepting about 200,000 letters a week, and discovered that people were deeply pessimistic, and thought Churchill was "played out."

These claims were rejected by Sweden's immigration office but the couple appealed the decision.

France and the EU, Recognising Yet Supporting Apartheid Reality in Palestine

A recent statement made by the outgoing French Ambassador to the US regarding the nature of Israeli apartheid accentuates a larger ailment that has afflicted the European Union foreign policy.

The EU is simply gutless when it comes to confronting Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine.

Ambassador Gerard Araud was, of course, right when he told the US magazine, the ‘Atlantic’, that Israel is already an apartheid state.

Noting the “disproportion of power” between Israel and the Palestinians, Araud said, “The strongest (meaning Israel) may conclude that they have no interest to make concessions.”

And since Israel “won’t make (Palestinians) citizens of Israel … they will have to make it official, which we know the situation, which is apartheid.” Araud added, “There will be officially an apartheid state. They are in fact already.”

America’s Way of War: Killing Civilians

From Afghanistan to Iraq, Syria and Yemen, the United States and its allies have been really good at one thing only: Killing civilians in wars without end.

This has been going on since 2001, starting from Afghanistan, stretching to Yemen and then all the way back to Afghanistan, where the United Nations has once again warned that the United States and its allied forces are killing more Afghan civilians than the Taliban and other armed groups do.

This has been largely the case in the first three months of this year. A new quarterly report from the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan shows that from January to the end of March.

It’s interesting to note that in response to the report, US forces spokesman in Afghanistan Colonel Dave Butler has said: "We reserve the right of self-defense of our forces. The best way to end the suffering of non-combatants is to end the fighting through an agreed-upon reduction in violence on all sides."

The thing is, the ongoing violence could be reduced to a great extent if all US and NATO forces actually leave the war-torn country.>>>

An Israeli newspaper close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday accused Switzerland of spending $2 million on legal activities which it says harm Israel.

Israel Hayom claimed that the Swiss foreign ministry sent an estimated $2 million to Israeli and Palestinian NGOs through its diplomatic mission in Ramallah to pay for legal activities which harm Israel.

The Burning Of Notre Dame And The Destruction Of Christian Europe

Barely an hour after the flames began to rise above Notre Dame -- at a time when no explanation could be provided by anyone -- the French authorities rushed to say that the fire was an "accident" and that "arson has been ruled out." The remarks sounded like all the official statements made by the French government after attacks in France during the last decade.

The Notre Dame fire also occurred at a time when attacks against churches in France and Europe have been multiplying. More than 800 churches were attacked in France during the year 2018 alone.

Churches in France are empty. The number of priests is decreasing and the priests that are active in France are either very old or come from Africa or Latin America. The dominant religion in France is now Islam. Every year, churches are demolished to make way for parking lots or shopping centers. Mosques are being built all over, and they are full.

US Decision on Iran's Oil Exports May Destroy Nuclear Deal

The European Union regrets the United States' decision to halt waivers on sanctions against importers of Iranian oil, which may undermine the success of the nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Spokesperson for EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Maja Kocijancic said on Tuesday.

"We regret yesterday's announcement by the US not to renew all waivers. This further risks undermining the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action… . We, as the European Union, will continue to abide by the JCPOA as long as Iran continues the full and effective implementation of its nuclear-related commitments," Kocijancic told reporters.

Iran has warned Europeans, as the main beneficiaries of the agreement with the Islamic republic, that the nuclear deal between Tehran and the world powers will be in danger if European countries fail to fulfill their pledge to ease the US pressures and allow the Islamic Republic to reap the economic benefits of the deal.

Spain: Election Authority Bans Anti-Mass Migration Populists from TV Debates

The populist leader vowing to “make Spain great again” has been axed from the only televised debate confirmed ahead of the election later this month.
The Atresmedia network was ordered to drop Vox leader Santiago Abascal from its debate after Spain’s Central Election Board ruled his appearance would not be “proportional” to votes cast for the party at elections in 2015, when the then only recently formed party failed to win representation in the national parliament.

Since then however, Vox has enjoyed a huge political breakthrough, becoming the third largest party at elections in Andalucia in December when it gained 11 per cent of the vote and 12 seats — far outperforming predictions it would win just five seats.

Now the party faces being excluded from an election debate for a vote where some polls predict they could finish in third place nationally, potentially becoming an important faction in the Spanish parliament and even a player in a future coalition government.

‘No Chance Whatsoever’: Democrat Speaker Pelosi Contradicts Trump, Slams UK-U.S. Brexit Trade Deal

Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said there will be “no chance whatsoever” of a UK-U.S. trade deal after Brexit if Britain leaving the European Union impacts the British-Irish border.

Speaking ahead of a trip to Ireland and the United Kingdom, NancyPelosi said: “first of all it is very hard to pass a trade bill in the Congress of the United States, so [it isn’t a] given any way,” she claimed.

“[B]ut if there were any weakening of the Good Friday accords, there would be no chance whatsoever, a non-starter for a U.S.-UK trade agreement.”
