Facebook apologizes for locking a ‘small portion’ of users out of their accounts

On Monday afternoon, some Facebook users reported on Twitter and Hacker News that, for some unknown reason, they were locked out of their accounts. In the error message displayed, users were prompted to upload a photo ID in order to verify that they are the account holder. The company has issued a statement on the matter, saying:

Earlier this evening, we showed an account verification message to a very small portion of our users unnecessarily. We promptly removed the messages when we discovered the error. We’re sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused.

The issue has since been resolved.

Webmaster's Commentary:

No it hasn't because this is exactly what I am seeing on my Facebook account! And I am still waiting to hear back from Facebook about why my account (which I don't even use that much) was locked.

3 On Your Side: Facebook Lock-out Issue

Recently, Karina says Facebook locked her out of her account without any explanation. The page was still up, but she could not log in.

“It asked me to submit a government-issued photo ID, so I automatically assumed it was a scam,” explains Moreno.

When she contacted Facebook, she was told it was not a scam — Facebook really needed a copy of her identification.

“Why should I have to submit it to a free social networking site?” she says she asked. “It’s absolutely ridiculous.”

We found a number of people complaining online about the same issue with Facebook.

Facebook has apologised to its transgender and drag queen users, after suspending a number of their accounts under a policy that required people to use their “real” names.

The social network provoked an outcry from members of the LGBT community in recent weeks after it locked out users for operating pages under their stage names, such as Sister Roma and Lil Miss Hot Mess.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I don't think that is why Facebook just locked my account. :)

US Military Marches East to Consolidate Front Against Russia

US military is expanding its training exercises and coordinating the activities of its allies pitting Europe against Russia, Daniel Zubov from Rossiya Segodnya’s Center for International Journalism and Research said Thursday.

“While continuing to denounce alleged Russian military involvement in Ukraine, the American military marched east this September, participating in training, drills, and exercises spanning from Latvia to Turkey. It coordinated with its military allies in between – including in Ukraine – consolidating a front which extends 2,600 kilometers,” Zubov stated.

FBI Director Warns of ‘Khorasan’ Threat

In comments on today’s “60 Minutes” program, FBI Director James Comey warned that the Khorasan group is “serious people, bent of destruction” who plan to attack the US “very, very soon.”

Comey insisted the US had to act as if the Khorasan strike was “coming tomorrow,” but conceded that they don’t know whether they plan to attack “tomorrow or three weeks or three months from now.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to FBI Director Comey: if there is a "big bang" in this country, it will mean that neither you, the NSA, the CIA, or the FBI, or military intelligence has been able to protect us, and should be collectively SACKED instantly after such an event occurs.

And the US government has another serious problem: few Americans believe ANYTHING this government says anymore, because it has completely paralyzed and crippled its own credibility.

Should there be a crisis inside this country (like a real, exponential outbreak of ebola here), even if the information the government was disseminating was accurate, it would not be believed.

Pinkeye Was Only Symptom in Child Killed by Enterovirus

A New Jersey preschooler killed last month by a respiratory virus that is spreading across the U.S. showed symptoms only of pinkeye before he died in his sleep, health officials said.

Four-year-old Eli Waller, of Hamilton Township, was kept home from school by his mother on Wednesday, Sept. 23, because he was developing a little bit of pinkeye, said Jeff Plunkett, the health officer for the township. He was otherwise fine and had been in school on Sept. 21 and 22.

Even if we defeat the Islamic State, we’ll still lose the bigger war

As America’s efforts to “degrade and ultimately destroy” Islamic State militants extend into Syria, Iraq War III has seamlessly morphed into Greater Middle East Battlefield XIV. That is, Syria has become at least the 14th country in the Islamic world that U.S. forces have invaded or occupied or bombed, and in which American soldiers have killed or been killed. And that’s just since 1980.

Illegal immigrant students bring ’21 Spanish dialects’ that teachers don’t understand

Fifty-four Central American refugee students, some of whom cannot read or write, have been moved from their schools into a separate program at a Hall County public school, Lanier Charter Career Academy.

The students, who crossed the border in precarious conditions to escape violence in their home countries, do not speak English. Their Spanish dialects are unfamiliar to the district’s Spanish teachers, and some have had little schooling.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The "immigration reformers" pushing for amnesty for illegals are basically saying that everyone should leave the front door to their house open so that anyone who comes along may come in and take what they want. That is, of course, nonsense. Your house has a door so that you can choose who comes in. Nations have borders so that they can choose who comes in.

There are many illnesses now reported to be carried by the illegals pouring across the border. US Border Patrol agents are being infected with scabies. Two schools in California where illegals have been sent are now showing clusters of tuberculosis. Swine flu and AIDS have also been found in the immigrants. Worse, as of today, Bolivia, source for many of the illegals now entering the US, is reporting an outbreak of Bubonic Plague along the border with Peru (also a source for many illegals entering the US).

Those who seek to erase the immigration laws of the United States run the risk of turning the entire country into a Jim Jones style suicide cult!

We keep hearing that the illegals are fleeing oppressive government in their own lands. Why they would think life will be any better here is a mystery as the US now ranks 36th on the global freedom scale, pretty much at the bottom of all industrialized nations.

But let us look at history for how to deal with a repressive regime.

When the British discovered that King Charles 1 had hired Scottish troops to oppress the British people, the British didn't swim across the English Channel to France and say "Let us in! Let us in!" They arrested the King and cut off his head! Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

When the French living under King Louise XVI realized their were being systematically looted by the French monarchy, they didn't swim across the English Channel to Britain and say "Let us in! Let us in!" They arrested the King and sent him and his money-junky friends to the guillotine! Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

When the Italian people realized that Benito Mussolini had gotten them into a war on the side that was going to lose, the Italians didn't flock to the border of Austria and say "Let us in! Let us in!" They arrested Mussolini and shot him! Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

When the Romanians lived under a repressive regime, they didn't flock to the border with Serbia and scream "Let us in! Let us in!" They took responsibility for the future of their nation, and machine-gunned Ceausescu live on Romanian National TV. Things got a lot better in their own nation after that!

We the people of the United States are not responsible to make the lives of Bolivians, Nicaraguans, Peruvians, Brazilians, etc. better. We have plenty of our own problems. Our current government doesn't even want to take care of America's homeless and hungry who are LEGAL citizens!

So, instead of flocking to our borders and screaming "Let us in! Let us in", maybe you need to man-up, show some courage, and fix your own problems.

Teenager with 'Ebola-like' symptoms quarantined in Miami after falling sick while on holiday from West Africa

A teenager from West Africa who became sick while visiting Florida on holiday caused Jackson Memorial Hospital to go on high alert on Sunday amid fears that he may have the deadly Ebola virus.

Officials said the patient took a taxi to Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach after he became sick with flu-like symptoms. Miami Beach Fire Rescue then transferred him to Jackson for further tests.

A test performed by the Department of Health came back negative on Monday morning, but Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine said the results were being sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for a final test.

No campaign to face probe over Scotland's independence referendum

Anti-Scottish independence campaigners will face a formal investigation over allegations that they breached electoral law in last month’s referendum, the Crown Office has said.

“We can confirm that Crown counsel has instructed Police Scotland to commence an investigation into alleged breaches of Schedule 7, Paragraph 7, of the Scottish Independence Referendum Act 2013,” the Scottish prosecution service said in a statement on Saturday.

US preparing for imminent terrorist attack by Khorasan Group: FBI head

The head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says the United States is preparing for an imminent terrorist attack by Al-Qaeda’s alleged affiliate in Syria, the Khorasan Group.

James Comey made the remarks in an interview broadcast on Sunday night, following reports which said that US airstrikes targeting the Khorasan Group in Syria were unsuccessful, according to American officials familiar with the operation.

Many of the suspected leaders and members of the group managed to escape the September 22 air raids, said three US officials.

The FBI director said the group was working on a plan to carry out terrorist attacks against the United States.

FLASHBACK 2000 - NY TIMES - Some May Carry Ebola Virus Without Having the Symptoms

The Ebola virus, which has caused deaths from high fever and bleeding in African outbreaks, can also infect without producing illness, according to a new finding by African and European scientists.

The possibility of asymptomatic infection was only suggested in earlier studies, they said in last week's issue of The Lancet, a medical journal published in London. Now they said they had documented such infections for the first time. They found that the Ebola virus could persist in the blood of asymptomatic infected individuals for two weeks after they were first exposed to an infected individual. How much longer the virus can persist is unknown.

All outbreaks of Ebola have been controlled by standard infection control measures such as effective body disposal, destroying or sterilizing contaminated equipment and appropriate use of gloves. But if people can be carriers without showing symptoms, it means control might be more difficult.

Young and not buying into the American dream: Homeownership among young households is simply not picking up and shifting demographic trends.

If the American dream means owning a home, many younger Americans are opting out of that dream. Part of the reason may be a generational shift in having smaller families and a growing number of dual income no kid (DINK) households. That is part of it but a bigger reason is many younger Americans are financially in poor shape and unable to buy. Many are now part of a growing renter class. The recent Census data shows no reversal in this trend. Why would it? Many young Americans are also carrying high levels of student debt and in high cost areas like California, 2.3 million young adults are living at home with their parents because of financial challenges. This change has also impacted home builders since there is less of a need for large new homes when the demand is more for affordable rentals. Builders are keen to see this and that is why multi-family building permits are way up. What impact will this trend have on the housing landscape of America?

Biden's Speech Might Backfire on Washington: Former Assistant Secretary of Treasury

Speech of the US Vice President Joe Biden can backfire on Washington, as it embarrasses the European Union members and demonstrates the US has intimidated them, Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, believes.

"One of the possible consequences is that his speech embarrasses European governments by showing that Europe is Washington's vassal," Roberts told RIA Novosti on Friday. "The other is that by pressing Europeans to act against their own interests, Washington might have been too much of a bully and hurt its future influence in Europe."

US Vice President said Thursday that the United States and US President Barack Obama, in particular, had forced the European Union members to "take economic hits to impose cost" on Russia.

Farmers fear fracking could spell financial ruin

Farmers fear they could face financial ruin from government plans to allow fracking beneath their land without compensation, the National Farmers' Union has warned.

Ministers pushing for shale gas exploration cannot take the support of rural communities for granted and are turning farmers against the process by appearing to brush side their concerns, it warned.

The Government is pressing ahead with new laws that would strip people of power to block fracking beneath their property or land. It has insisted no compensation will be paid to individual home and landowners, because they should not be affected by the gas or oil extraction deep beneath them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As reported at nyagainstfracking.org:

As the State rapidly approaches the deadline to decide whether to allow fracking to go forward in New York, residents from across Pennsylvania came forward to tell legislators their stories. New Yorkers Against Fracking also released an ad, which will initially run in the Albany and New York City markets highlighting stories of dead cows and poisoned water. Since fracking began in states outside of New York, there have been numerous reports of water contamination. Studies link fracking-related activities to contaminated groundwater; air pollution; illness, death, and reproductive problems in cows, horses and wildlife; and human health problems. “These stories from Pennsylvania are very alarming,” said Dr. Sheila Bushkin, MD, MPH of the Institute for Health and the Environment at University at Albany. “The perspective of the gas industry fails to show adequate concern for the long-term health and quality of life of people. When you listen to the personal experiences of actual residents of Pennsylvania and other states where fracking has gone forward, you will hear stories of dead cows, pets, sick children, poisoned water and other serious health and environmental problems. These stories confirm our need for much greater research and evidence-based scientific facts.” “My story is not unusual,” said Terry Greenwood, a farmer from Southwestern Pennsylvania. “After my cows drank from a pond that was contaminated by frackwater, 10 of the 19 calves were born stillborn.” “The industry says there are no problems,” said Matt Manning. “Well when the industry came to Northeastern PA, our water turned black and started bubbling. Our kids would cough and choke in the shower. It got so bad that the state required the companies to provide us with deliveries of clean water. But that’s not a long-term solution.”

Actually, in the UK, all fracking should be mandated beneath the homes of all members of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

It would be very instructive to see how well THEY like it, and what their health costs would be

The suddenly unstoppable U.S. dollar is posing a triple threat to American companies' profits: driving up the costs of doing business overseas, suppressing the value of non-U.S. sales and, perhaps most worryingly, signaling weak international demand.

Shore town settles 3 excessive force lawsuits

The borough of Seaside Heights has settled three excessive force lawsuits against its police department since July.

As previously reported, the borough paid out $500,000 to a Toms River man who alleged police used pepper spray on him and threw him to the boardwalk. It also settled two other suits alleging excessive force for a total of $45,000.

The resolutions to the lawsuits were first reported by NJ Civil Settlements, which details settlements paid by New Jersey government agencies and their insurers to those who have sued them.

In one suit, Nicole A. Lamb of Voorhees received $25,000 after complaining she was assaulted by police following her arrest on Aug. 5, 2012.

HP said its shareholders would own a stake in both businesses through a tax-free transaction next year, the details of which still needed to be worked out.

Transmission of infectious diseases during commercialair travel - Lancet

The transmission of
Mycobacterium
tuberculosis
is the most studied model of the spread of
airborne pathogens aboard aircraft. Several studies
about in-flight transmission of tuberculosis have been
reported, with most being done in the mid-1990s.
4,29,30,39–41
Two of the seven investigations revealed a probable link
of onboard transmission. In the first occurrence, a flight
attendant was the index case, and two documented
tuberculin skin test conversions occurred during
5 months in 1992 in 212 fellow crew members and
59 frequent flyer passengers.
39
The second, and largest,
incident was of a passenger with pulmonary
tuberculosis travelling from Baltimore to Chicago and
then on to Honolulu.
29
Four of 15 fellow passengers
seated within two rows of the index passenger had
positive tuberculin skin test conversion. Although there
is a risk of tuberculosis within the aircraft cabin, no
cases of active disease have been reported as a result of

Infection Transmission During Air Travel

It is clear that due to lower air exchange rates and decreased sunlight, enclosed spaces such as buildings and transport vehicles are more susceptible to the transmission of infectious particles than are the outdoors.[1] Aircraft cabins are particularly worrisome due to high occupant densities and long exposure times. Well-documented outbreaks of tuberculosis, influenza, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), and norovirus are alleged to have occurred during air travel.[2][3][4][5] All of these diseases are transmitted via either large droplets or aerosolization.[6]

Natural Gas is No Solution for Reducing CO2

President Obama's energy plan to reduce carbon emissions positions natural gas as the great bridge fuel, as its carbon emissions are half that of coal. Other coal still accounts for 39 percent of U.S. electricity generation. Natural gas extraction through fracking is booming, so much so that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission this week approved the highly contested $3.8 billion Cove Point natural gas processing and export facility, located in the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland. This is the third such natural gas facility that the U.S. Department of Energy has approved this month.

Panetta: '30-year war' and a leadership test for Obama

Americans should be braced for a long battle against the brutal terrorist group Islamic State that will test U.S. resolve — and the leadership of the commander in chief, says Leon Panetta, who headed the CIA and then the Pentagon as Al Qaeda was weakened and Osama bin Laden killed.

"I think we're looking at kind of a 30-year war," he says, one that will have to extend beyond Islamic State to include emerging threats in Nigeria, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and elsewhere.

Experts starting to admit it may take vaccine to stop Ebola in West Africa

As West Africa's Ebola outbreak continues to rage, some experts are coming to the conclusion that it may take large amounts of vaccines and maybe even drugs — all still experimental and in short supply — to bring the outbreak under control.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here comes the cash-grab by Big Pharma! Apparently when the WHO said experimental and unproven therapies were allowable during this crisis, what they meant was that experimental and unproven therapies by big corporations are allowable during this crisis, as they are still blocking efforts to test and use alternative (non patentable) therapies such as colloidal silver. The history of vaccines is not reassuring, given how many vaccines have actually caused more harm than good, such as India's polio vaccine in 2011, or the 1976 Swine Flu vaccines here in the US. Indeed there are reports that the current Ebola outbreak is connected with an experimental vaccine trial at the research lab at Kenema.

Supreme Court denies gay marriage appeals

The Supreme Court has turned away appeals from five states seeking to prohibit same-sex marriages, paving the way for an immediate expansion of gay and lesbian unions.

The justices on Monday did not comment in rejecting appeals from Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I find it hard to believe that so many people scream about the need for population control and yet fail to realize humans have a natural built-in population control mechanism in homosexuality. Careful study of history clearly shows that as social stress increases, the per-capita incidence of homosexuality increases. Maybe instead of "tolerating" the gays we should realize that they are indispensable to the long term survival of the human race!

From Ukraine to Syria: UN’s Selective Defense of Human Rights

For the past several years, the United Nations has served as a platform for Syria’s enemies to air allegations of human rights abuses and even attempts to use such allegations to justify military aggression against Syria itself. Tales of “barrel bombs” being used against civilians, the bombardment of enemy positions at the cost of civilian lives and the destruction of vital infrastructure have all been constructs in the West’s narrative against the Syrian government.

Now that the US is itself bombing Syria, killing Syrians including innocent men, women and children, as well as vital infrastructure local populations depend on for their survival, the UN has grown suddenly quiet.

HOLIDAYS IN ISRAEL ~~ A TIME TO LOVE OR TO HATE

Preparations are underway to usher in a week long holiday in Israel. It is called Succot, or The Feast of the Tabernacles. We eat all of our meals in little booths and the ceilings are usually made of tree branches, allowing the sky to be visible. It is a reminder of the 40 years we roamed in the desert and dwelled in such structures. It is actually quite a fun holiday and a very community oriented one, it is one of my favourites.

A non Jewish visitor to Jerusalem this week might get the impression that the entire city stands in solidarity with the homeless Palestinians illegally evicted from their homes by settlers. Nothing could be further from the truth.

A RABBINICAL LAMENTATION OF THE SEASON FOR THE PEOPLE OF GAZA

The following was written days before the Jewish fast of Tisha B’Av: a day of mourning for the calamities that have befallen the Jewish people over the centuries. Among other things, the traditional Tisha B’Av liturgy includes the chanting Biblical book of Lamentations.

Given the profoundly tragic events currently unfolding in Gaza, I offer this reworking of the first chapter of Lamentations. I share it with the hope that on this day of mourning we might also mourn the mounting dead in Gaza along with what Israel has become.

Snow arrives early in Northwoods

Parts of Wisconsin saw their first flakes of snow for the season Saturday morning as temperatures dipped below freezing.

The accumulating snow was basically confined to the Northwoods where as much as eight-tenths of an inch was detected in Arbor Vitae in Vilas County. Antigo in Langlade County recorded one-tenth of an inch.

Pictures were submitted to FOX 11 by viewers and posted on Facebook.

The first snowfall arrived nearly a month ahead of when residents usually experience any accumulation.

Is vitamin C helpful against Ebola?

Understandably, there are no trials yet testing vitamin C against the Ebola virus, either in the test-tube or real life. However, there are many good reasons to consider that it would be very helpful in the right doses. Currently, the medical/pharmaceutical thrust is towards creating a vaccine or a drug treatment, most likely involving the injection of large amounts of anti-Ebola antibodies. The few labs that do have access to testing Ebola are unlikely to be testing the effects of vitamin C on Ebola any time soon.

However, two top medical vitamin C experts believe that it could help. As extraordinary as this might sound there is NO VIRUS yet investigated that a sustained high dose of vitamin C, given intravenously, or in high and continuous oral doses, hasn't killed off or substantially suppressed.

Sacra will remain in isolation until doctors have confirmation from tests by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that he is not infected with the virus, the hospital said. Doctors expect to know with certainty by late Monday.

THE CDC & THE UN ARE FORCED TO ADMIT THAT EBOLA IS AIRBORNE

This Was Then

The Original CDC Position on How is Ebola Spread

The following was on the CDC website in early September and this is the mantra that the mainstream media is parroting as the “official and irrefutable doctrine of science”.

“The virus is spread through direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with blood and body fluids (urine, feces, saliva, vomit, and semen) of a person who is sick with Ebola, or with objects (like needles) that have been contaminated with the virus. Ebola is not spread through the air or by water or, in general, by food; however, in Africa, Ebola may be spread as a result of handling bushmeat (wild animals hunted for food) and contact with infected bats.”
This Is Now

The Present CDC Position on How Ebola Is Spread

The following represents the present position on how Ebola is spread by the CDC.

Those not in the labor force but looking for a job now rose last month: The funny numbers behind the unemployment rate.

Those “not in the labor force” Americans continues to expand while the headline unemployment rate continues to decline. Some pundits will try to argue that this number does not accurately portray those looking for work. Well how about a category called “not in the labor force, want a job now” for categorizing those looking for work? We actually have a category that specifically looks at those not in the labor force but wanting a job today. And that number went up by 90,000 last month while the unemployment rate fell. Depending on how you define a healthy economy, you can find data that largely supports the broad case that most Americans are falling behind while a smaller portion is doing exceptionally well. Some of this is part of the new economic framework of a system largely dependent on financialization. It is odd to see those looking for work rise while the unemployment rate drops.

High Court judge calls for U.S. to pardon Pollard

Supreme Court Justice Elyakim Rubinstein has called for the U.S. authorities to pardon Jonathan Pollard, the American who famously pleaded guilty to spying for Israel in 1987.

The call marked a rare public intervention by an Israeli judge into the American legal system. Rubinstein was speaking at a lecture Monday at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

At the end of his talk, Rubinstein brought up Pollard, who has served 29 years of a life sentence. Mistakes were made, mainly by the Israelis, but by the Americans as well, and 29 years was enough, he said.

Watch Slavoj Zigzag Zizek –

Supposedly the most advanced contemporary philosopher; a genuine essentialist thinker who managed to fool the Jew-prog universe (The Guardian Of Zion, Verso-Books, etc.) for years into believing that he was ‘one of clan,’ meanders until he eventually admits that it is Right Wing politics that appeals to Working Class people.

Zizek is telling the truth, but he manoeuvres clumsily. Zigzag shamelessly wraps his obvious observation with too many apologetics. Very disappointing indeed.

Zigzag Zizek was at the core of my intellectual inspiration two decades ago. But like many others, he decided long ago that it was The Guardian Of Zion that would pay the bills. And indeed, moral and intellectual duplicity has guaranteed him a frequent slot with Amy Goodman and Democracy Later. After all, lying for the cause is a kosher procedure.

Read the genocidal sermon a notable Atlanta rabbi gave this Rosh Hashanah

Last Thursday Rabbi Shalom Lewis of Congregation Etz Chaim in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta, Georgia gave what can only be understood as a call to genocide in his Rosh Hashanah sermon to welcome in the Jewish new year. USDA continues secret process of appointing corporate factory farm executives to Organic Standards Board

The NOSB is supposed to be comprised of individuals representing farmers, environmentalists, public interest advocates, handlers, retailers, scientists and a USDA certifying agent, as reported by Natural News. However, one of the nation's leading organic industry watchdog groups has persistently criticized the selection of four NOSB board appointees and the secrecy surrounding their nominations.

"The selection process was conducted in secrecy despite requests to cast sunlight on the decision making and solicit input from a very engaged community of organic farmers, businesses, and consumers," said Will Fantle, the co-director for The Cornucopia Institute.

"We think a more transparent process would ensure the selection of the best and brightest for the various vacancies on the board -- instead of, once again, appeasing the organic corporate lobby."

Russians behind JPMorgan cyberattack: ‘It scared the pants off many people’

The July cyberattack on JPMorgan Chase & Co. that compromised the names, addresses, phone numbers and contact information of over 83 million people are believed to have originated in Russia with at least some level of state approval.

“It could be in retaliation for the sanctions” placed on Russia, one senior official briefed on the intelligence told The New York Times on Saturday. “But it could be mixed motives — to steal if they can, or to sell whatever information they could glean.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Nonsense. In years of cyber attacks on major retailers and banks the NSA has not actually tracked down a single cyber-criminal, and now this senior official "knows" not only that Russia did the J.P. Morgan break-in but that the Russian government approved it? Even if the IP for the attack traces back to Russia, that means nothing. Anyone who has studied the way cyber-criminals operate know they rely on cut-out machines, compromised computers in foreign countries, to mask their true origins. This is just more BS Russia bashing trying to ramp up the wars.

WHY HAVEN'T LAWMAKERS BEEN INDICTED AND CHARGED FOR THIS?

"The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is encouraging banks to sign up illegal aliens in the banking system, calling the growth of the market "a compelling incentive for U.S. banks to enter this largely untapped market." And the FDIC program demonstrates that unbanked Latin American immigrants can be brought into the financial mainstream.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Setting aside the illegality of this,. what is going on is that the bankers are trying to build a new bottom layer for their financial pyramid by offering loans to illegals, from which they can create new money out of thin air to keep the pyramid going. But that only works if there are new jobs for these new borrowers, which there are not. There are already 90 million legal Americans unable to find work. Every illegal that takes a job takes it away from a legal American. That legal American, in turn, is no longer able to pay back their loans to the banks. So the system will collapse anyway. This is the sort of mess one sees the nation get into when the government starts to believe its own propaganda, such as the claim that unemployment is below 6%!

The U.S. Dares to Criticize Israel

It seems that, perhaps, Israel’s latest slaughter of defenseless Palestinians may have been a bit too much even for the United States to condone. In what may be the U.S.’s harshest, although still quite mild, criticism of its puppet master, President Barack Obama said that the plan to increase illegal settlement building could alienate Israel from ‘even its closest allies’.

There is, of course, no closer ally of Israel than the United States. Israel is able to disdain international law, violate the most basic human rights of Palestinians, slaughter men, women and children, bomb United Nations refugee centers, kill journalists and commit genocide only because of U.S. funding and use of its veto power in the U.N.

But the U.S., this time, went even further in its criticism. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that the newly-approved construction would cause the global community to ‘question Israel’s ultimate commitment to a peaceful negotiated settlement’ with Palestinians.

Report: ISIS plots to seize Iran’s nuclear secrets

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militant group is planning on seizing Tehran’s nuclear secrets and urging its fighters to plan for war with Iran, UK weekly newspaper The Sunday Times informed, Al Arabiya News reported.

He has sued Hugo Chavez on behalf of torture victims.

United Airlines trying to contact passengers from Ebola victim’s flights

After United Continental Holdings Inc. said it learned that a Liberian national now hospitalized with Ebola in Dallas traveled on two United flights on Sept. 20, the airline said it immediately began trying to contact the “several hundred” other passengers on the two flights.

United UAL, +4.66% said it is providing those customers with contact information for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, should they have questions or concerns, while also telling them the CDC has said there is “zero risk of transmission” of the often deadly virus on the flights.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This even after the CDC has admitted that contagion is possible from touching a surface that the infected person touched, and that aerosolized Ebola can survive on surfaces (such as airline counters, ATM machines, voting machines, aircraft and airport bathroom fixtures) for days!
