The Fundi-Gumbi's and the Hoodoo Cowboys.

Slow it goes in the cutting edge West. Delay follows delay and they are attended by difficulties that spring up out of virtual ground like some invasive species, although, we well know, they are most certainly generic to these locales. More on all that later. Let us now turn our gaze to the doings of the day; brought to you and carefully orchestrated by the same people who have been the Hoodoo Cowboys for a good long spell.

I’m not Charlie . . . I’m Maurice Sinet, fired by Charlie for anti-semitism

80-year-old Maurice Sinet, political cartoonist with Charlie Hebdo for 20 years, was fired in 2009 for his anti-Semitic cartoons mocking the relationship of former French President Sarkozy’s son with a wealthy Jewish woman.

Maurice Sinet, known to the world as Siné, faced charges of “inciting racial hatred” for a column he wrote in July 2009. “L’affaire Sine,” followed the engagement of Jean Sarkozy to Jessica Sebaoun-Darty, the Jewish heiress of a major consumer electronics company, the Darty Group. Commenting on rumours that Jean intended to convert from Catholicism to Judaism (Jessica’s religion) for social success, Siné quipped, “He’ll go a long way in life, that little lad.”

Lawsuit says Caltech Provost andothers ignored Israeli spying and thenretaliated against whistleblower

Following is a deeply disturbing excerpt from a civil lawsuit filed by a Caltech professor against Caltech, often named the world’s top research university. Caltech’s official name is the California Institute of Technology.

According to the lawsuit, a small coterie of Caltech professors and administrators ignored Israeli spying and theft of taxpayer-funded U.S. technology and then retaliated against the professor for reporting it.

Caltech Provost Edward Stolper, who has ties to Israel and received an honorary degree from one of its universities, seems to have been one of those leading the charge.

FLASHBACK - 'Underwear bomber' was working for the CIA

A would-be "underwear bomber" involved in a plot to attack a US-based jet was in fact working as an undercover informer with Saudi intelligence and the CIA, it has emerged.

New info confirms CIA was behind Paris attack

“We have been told by the mainstream media, the Western media, that a Yemeni reporter has claimed that he had interviewed Kouachi who was responsible for the Paris attack, or one of those who were responsible,” she said.

“And he had ties with ‘the underwear bomber’, ‘the underwear bomber’ who was held responsible for wanting to blow up an airliner at Christmas in 2009,” Ulrich added.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was convicted of attempting to detonate plastic explosives hidden in his underwear while on board Northwest Airlines Flight 253, en route from Amsterdam to Detroit, Michigan.

“Well, it so happens that the mainstream media here is so busy turning up this information that they turned to forget the very information they gave us in the first place. For example, in 2012, we were told that ‘the underwear bomber’ was in fact working with the CIA intelligence and with the Saudis,” she pointed out.

Russia President Not Welcome at Auschwitz Liberation Anniversary

The standard practice for an event such as this would be for the host country to send out formal invitations.

However, specifically to avoid having to send a formal invitation to Russia president Poland did not send out invitations to anyone.

Instead she sent out mere notifications that event is going to take place.

After asking for a clarification whether it is invited or not Russia correctly concluded it is not welcome by the host country.

CIA on Trial in Virginia for Planting Nuke Evidence in Iran

The story is this. The CIA drew up plans for a key part of a nuclear bomb (what a CIA officer on Wednesday described in his testimony as "the crown jewels" of a nuclear weapons program), inserted flaws in the plans, and then had a Russian give those flawed plans to Iran.

During the trial on Wednesday morning, the prosecution's witnesses made clear both that aiding Iran in developing a part of a bomb would be illegal under U.S. export control laws, and that they were aware at the time that there was the possibility of what they were doing constituting just such aid.

So, why do it?

Watch your language! (even when speaking the undeniable truth)

BBC Watch is linked to CiF Watch, which is “dedicated to monitoring antisemitism and combating the assault on Israel’s legitimacy”. And to CAMERA. All three have the same two editors.

Hadar Sela is Managing Editor. She “has lived in Israel for over three decades… and has written pre-emptive reports on several anti-Israel campaigns, including the flotillas and the Global March to Jerusalem in March 2012”.

Funny, I thought the flotillas were bringing humanitarian aid to the desperate civilians cruelly imprisoned, blockaded and bombarded in the tiny enclave of Gaza. How is that deemed to be anti-Israel unless you’re a paranoid Zionist or one of the mindless criminal thugs imposing the blockade?

The other is Adam Levick, also Managing Editor of CiF Watch. He “made aliyah” in 2009. Aliya is moving your home to Israel. Since when did we or our national broadcaster take orders from a couple of Israelis?

Why America Keeps Losing Its Wars

In the aftermath of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the president asked Congress for a Declaration of War, got it, and began to steel the nation for the sacrifices necessary for victory. In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, the president cowed Congress into ceding its war-making powers (in the form of an authorization for the use of military force), sent the military into indecisive action in Afghanistan, declared war on a country uninvolved in the 9/11 attacks (Iraq), and sent the American people to shop.

Well into its second decade, the undeclared and undefined “Global War on Terror” has yet to gain any measure of security for America’s profligate expenditure of lives and treasure.

The framers of the U.S. Constitution, establishing our country as a republic, wanted no part of a system that codified the executive as the decider of war and peace.

FROM THOSE WONDERFUL FOLKS WHO BROUGHT YOU THE INQUISITION!

Christopher Columbus

Columbus, having quit the profession of slave trading to become an explorer, sailed for the new world in 1492. Within hours of landing, Columbus had kidnapped 6 natives in order to "christianize" them and make them his servants. Columbus incorrectly reported that the inhabitants of the New World had no religion. After planting a cross, Columbus would say the "Requerimiento", a prayer that officially made the newly found lands Catholic. Since nobody present objected (the natives did not speak latin), the new world became officially the domain of the Catholic church.

Marching Towards Disaster: What’s Really Behind The U.S. Push In The Asia-Pacific?

On the sidelines of the Group of Twenty (G20) Summit in Brisbane, US President Barack H. Obama delivered a keynote speech to diplomats, policymakers, faculty members, and students at the University of Queensland on the United States of America’s foreign policy and Obama’s so-called “Asian pivot” or “pivot to Asia.”

In 2013, a report by Brian Andrews and Kurt Campbell for the British think-tank Chatham House described Washington’s redeployment efforts in the Asia-Pacific region like this: “The United States government is in the early stages of a substantial national project: reorienting significant elements of its foreign policy towards the Asia-Pacific region and encouraging many of its partners outside the region to do the same.”

Rising anti-Semitism? One in eight Brits think Jews use Holocaust to get sympathy

Nearly half of Britons hold anti-Semitic views, a survey has revealed. It also found that one in eight Brits surveyed (13 percent) thought Jews used talking about the Holocaust to get sympathy.

A YouGov poll asked 3,411 UK adults about their attitudes toward UK Jewish citizens. It found that 45 percent polled believed at least one anti-Semitic view presented to them was “definitely or probably true.”

Many found clichés and stereotypes about Jews to be true. One in four believed Jewish people “chase money more than others,” while one in six people felt Jews thought they were better than other people and had too much power in the media.

The Campaign Against Anti-Semitism (CAA), which commissioned the study, said Britain was at a “tipping point” in its Annual Anti-Semitism Barometer report.

The Spectacular Media Failure on Charlie Hebdo

A core tenet of journalism is answering the question “why.” It’s the media’s duty to explain “why” an event happened so that readers will actually understand what they’re reading. Leave out the “why” and then assumptions and stereotypes fill in the blank, always readily supplied by politicians whose ridiculous answers are left unquestioned by the corporate media.

Because the real “why” was unexplained in the Charlie Hebdo massacre, an obviously false culprit was created, leading to a moronic national discussion in the U.S. media about whether Islam was “inherently” violent.

For the media to even pose this question either betrays a blinding ignorance about the Middle East and Islam, or a conscious willingness to manipulate public sentiment by only interviewing so-called experts who believe such nonsense.

“Boots On The Ground”? Obama To Seek Authorization For Military Force Against ISIS

Having unveiled his non-boots-on-the-ground strategy in September, President Obama’s “promise” was quickly proved fragile when General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, indicated to the House of Representatives armed services committee that the strength of ISIS relative to the Iraqi army may be such that he would recommend abandoning Obama’s oft-repeated pledge against returning US ground troops to combat in Iraq. It seems another promise is about to be broken as Bloomberg reports Senator John Cornyn said President Obama told congressional leaders during meeting today at White House he would seek authorization for military force on Islamic State. First 'Charlie Hebdo' issue since attack sells out

The first edition of Charlie Hebdo since terror attacks in Paris last week left 17 people dead sold out at newsstands across France shortly after going on sale Wednesday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wow! That is really impressive when you think about it. One week ago, Charlie Hebdo was broke, asking for donations, and struggling to publish less than 50,000 copies of their magazine. Then their offices were attacked, their staff severely reduced, the survivors traumatized, and here we are just one week later with 3 million printed magazines in 16 languages all delivered to the newstands around the world?

Anyone who has ever worked in publishing knows this is an impossible feat. The lead time for content creation, translation into 16 languages, layout for those 16 versions, adding of additional printing resources, and supply chain time, all suggest this new issue had to be in production before last week's attack!

Play Israeli Youths’ Hilarious New “Push the Bibi” Video Game!

In the age of the political gaffe, how could Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu’s now-notorious push to the front of the memorial march in Paris last week not turn heads? The Perfect Storm for Wall Street Banks

JPMorgan Chase reported 2014 fourth quarter earnings this morning, missing analyst estimates. Analysts had expected $1.31 per share while the actual number came in at $1.19. Listening to the conference call this morning, there was the impression that the $1.19 would have been worse had the bank not released loan loss reserves in a number of business areas.

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, was back to characterizing the bank’s P&L as the “fortress balance sheet.” The London Whale credit derivatives traders almost blew up the fortress in 2012 and the markets are becoming skeptical as to just how much visibility there is on energy and emerging market loans souring on the books of the mega Wall Street banks.

The Importance of Being Angry

Anger is a vitally important evolutionary gift and without it we are perpetual victims. Anger has two primary evolutionary functions: to let us know when we are being threatened or attacked (whether by a more 'subtle' abuse or in an explicitly violent manner) while also giving us the power to respond effectively to this threat/attack.

The individual who is not afraid to be angry, will respond immediately, powerfully and, in virtually all cases, nonviolently to any threat or attack, warding off the attacking individual, for example, simply by clearly showing their anger (which is, of course, a clear defence in itself, and watching a snarling dog or wolf will readily convince you of the effectiveness of this form of defence).

For Sale To The Highest Bidder – How Middle Eastern Governments Are Buying Off The US Political Process

The quaint notion that the U.S. political system remotely resembles either a Republic or a Democracy should have been abandoned long ago. Any lingering illusions were surely extinguished last year, when an academic study empirically proved that the USA is nothing more than a corrupt oligarchy.

While having super rich and powerful American oligarchs running the show is one thing, the reality of the situation is actually far worse. Thanks to a recent article in Vice, we now know that foreign governments are aggressively employing their extraordinary wealth to advance their interests here on American soil. In many cases, these are autocratic regimes, which not only do not care about the best interests of the nation, they are often caught actively funding ISIS and even perpetuating 9/11 itself. Here are some excerpts from the piece:

Police Commissioner Involved in Charlie Hebdo Investigation “Commits Suicide”. Total News Blackout

Commissioner Helric Fredou was part of the police investigation into the Charlie Hebdo terror attack.

On Wednesday, as part of the Charlie Hebdo investigation, he dispatched a team of police officials under his jurisdiction. He is reported to have waited for the return of his team for a debriefing. Immediately following the police debriefing, he was involved in preparing his police report.

According to media reports, he committed suicide at around 1am on Thursday, within hours of the police debriefing. He used his own police weapon, a SIG-Sauer to “shoot himself in the head”.

At the time of his death, police claim to have not known the reason for his alleged suicide. This was reflected in their official statements to the media: “It is unknown at this time the reasons for his actions”.

However, a backstory appears to have been inserted simultaneously,

A Fort Hood statement says two tests on the 24-year-old soldier Tuesday showed no signs of Ebola, and that there is "no evidence of a public health threat."

Civil Forfeiture Seminar Gurus Teach Cops to Dream Big

Released footage of a New Mexico attorney at a "Vehicle Forfeiture Conference" - yes, that was the actual seminar title - is quickly gaining ire. In it, the Las Cruces city attorney, Harry S. Connelly Jr., encourages the police practice of seizure like he's a multi-level marketing guru motivating his underlings to look at everyone as a potential dollar sign. Really, the analogy fits - a report from the Institute of Justice documents that prosecutors (and the State) get a part of the cut.

Obama targets oil and gas industry, demands massive reduction in methane emissions

Taking direct aim at the oil-and-gas industry, President Obama on Wednesday put forth long-awaited regulations on methane emissions, setting an ambitious goal of reducing those emissions by 45 percent over the next decade.

The move comes just days before the State of the Union address and underscores that, in the final two years of presidency, Mr. Obama is looking to cement his legacy on climate-change and environmental issues.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It's a laudable goal but Obama's timing sucks. Right now the entire oil industry is being hammered by this ill-conceived oil price war against Russia. The very last thing they need is a whole new raft of "Obamaoil" regulations that will escalate costs, all in the name of controlling climate change, which changes no matter what we humans do. Methane in the atmosphere does not persist. In the presence of oxygen it decomposes to water and carbon dioxide, the first being what we need to live and the latter being what plants need to live. This underscores an observation I have been making all along; that the quality of thinking in this administration is rather poor. Policy decisions are being made for political (and in this case historical) reasons but are not thought all the way through to find potential negative consequences!

Michael Bay to direct drama about killing of US ambassador in Benghazi

Transformers director to take on adaptation of Thirteen Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi, which tells of the killing of four men on 11 September 2012

Webmaster's Commentary:

Actually, given Bey's close association with the government (he once narrated a puff-piece documentary about the CIA) and his glorification of war in "Pearl Harbor", I expect his film about Benghazi will be less about happened and more about what the government wants you to think happened.

I won't be seeing this one.

Rudy Giuliani Uses Charlie Hebdo Tragedy To Demand America Become A Police State

During an appearance on Fox & Friends Thursday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani used the terrorist attack on a French newspaper to insist that the United States needs to have a police presence inside all Muslim places of worship. Giuliani and the hosts also used the segment to criticize both President Obama and current NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio for their apparent unwillingness to condemn the religion of Islam for the attacks and fully embrace Islamophobia. Specifically, the former Republican Presidential candidate said de Blasio made an “irrational” act by pulling police out of Muslim mosques in New York.

A gauge of U.S. consumer spending unexpectedly fell in December as demand fell almost across the board, but that is probably not the start of a weak trend given lower gasoline prices and a firming labor market.

Emergency evacuation on the International Space Station: Nasa believe toxic leak of ammonia or faulty sensor may be responsible for alert

Roscosmos said an 'escape of hazardous substances from an air conditioning unit' was discharged into the station's atmosphere at around 8.45am GMT (3:45am EST) today - but Nasa are not convinced and say it may simply be a faulty sensor.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The problem with NASA's guess is that there were two separate instrument readings which prompted the alert. According to Roscosmos, first they noted an increase in the cooling system water loop pressure, followed by an increase in cabin pressure. That doesn't sound like instrumentation to me. I would chastise NASA for allowing wishful thinking to override the hard data, but they've been doing that since Challenger and Viking!

Why Is the Real American Sniper -- a Hate-Filled Killer -- Being Treated as a Hero?

I have to confess: I was suckered by the trailer for American Sniper. It’s a masterpiece of short-form tension – a confluence of sound and image so viscerally evocative it feels almost domineering. You cannot resist. You will be stressed out. You will feel. Or, as I believe I put it in a blog about the trailer, “Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper trailer will ruin your pants.”

But however effective it is as a piece of cinema, even a cursory look into the film’s backstory – and particularly the public reaction to its release – raises disturbing questions about which stories we choose to codify into truth, and whose, and why, and the messy social costs of transmogrifying real life into entertainment.

NATO plans to increase military exercises in Baltic region

The top military commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) says the military alliance is planning to increase its military exercises in the Baltic Sea region.

On Tuesday, General Philip Breedlove made the announcement during a visit in northwestern Poland.

He added that the decision was made in response to a rise in Russian military maneuvers in the region late last year.

"There will be several adaptations of our exercise program. The first series of changes will not be an increase in number but they will be to group them together ... to better prepare our forces and to allow nations to work together as a NATO force, but we are looking at increasing some exercises."

The NATO commander further accused Moscow of hurting prospects of talks with Kiev, saying it was continuing to support pro-Russia forces in eastern Ukraine.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to General Breedlove, who appears to be suffering from SMD (Selective Memory Disorder). And sir, I am very sorry to have ti say this, but your narrative regarding Ukraine is just, pain, flat, inconsistent with the facts on the ground.

Fact: The previous President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, was unceremoniously thrown under a bus, and made to leave the country, courtesy of a US/EU/ECB sponsored. putsch. Yes, the guy was so crooked that he had to screw on his socks; but he was the duly elected president of the country.

He was then replaced by Pietro Poroshenko who was allowed to take over as President in an election that definitely did NOT have the patina of having been placed in office through a free and fair election.

Fact: People in Eastern Ukraine, realizing that the Poroschenko regime was completely illegitimate, began to get upset about dealing with another tin-pot dictator, and decided that they needed to withdraw from Ukraine.

So now, we have a situation where Donetsk and its rebels are getting shelled, with impunity, as you well know.

So General; how long will the US allow this to continue, when men, innocent women and children are getting killed and wounded with impunity?!? I know in "milispeak" (military jargon) that for you and your colleagues, this is just "collateral damage". But to friends and families of these people, (particularly children) the targeting of these people is a war crime.

Oh, and yes: what about Ukraine's use of poison gas last summer against the rebels?!?!?

It appears that there has been a philosophy on Poroshenko's part to leave no person attacked alive. Even the kids.

General, as a Christian Pacifist, who could never advocate violence, I am very concerned about where the US support for the current Ukrainian government will lead.

But at the end of the day, sir, I, and many other thinking people, see Ukraine as a prelude for war against Russia.

And sir, you, of all people, have to understand; at present, the US military does not have the troop strength; the manufacturing, or the money to insure a positive outcome to such a war; and that is what makes the potential military scenario so scarily dangerous.

Top Researcher Finds Medical Studies to be Largely Wrong or Fraudulent

Considering his background, Dr. John Ioannidis had good reason to expect that he might become a noted and respected researcher when he first entered the field of medical research. What he did not expect was that he would become known for challenging and exposing the bad science of his peers and finding that up to 80 percent of medical studies results are either wrong or fraudulent.

Ioannidis was unusually well prepared to enter medical research: he had been a math prodigy of near-celebrity status in high school and both of his parents were physician-researchers. He believed he would be able to follow his parents footsteps and use math to better support findings in a surprisingly sloppy field. "I assumed that everything we physicians did was basically right, but now I was going to help verify it," he said. "All we'd have to do was systematically review the evidence, trust what it told us, and then everything would be perfect."

Video: Dzhokhar Tamerlan Innocent

Webmaster's Commentary:

We have all seen the photos and videos that prove the backpack that carried the Boston Bomb does not match those backpacks the Tsarnaev brothers were wearing at the scene just moments before the explosion, but apparently Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's court-appointed defense team is refusing to address this evidence in favor of rushing forward with a plea-deal that will support the official story.

Jan 13 16:06

Will Justice Be Trashed In Boston? It’s a Marathon When Searching For Truth.

In several photographs a man in a special outfit is photographed with a black backpack (and a white square logo). This is ‘the’, or similar, backpack that the FBI claims to have carried the bomb. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, though, was clearly photographed carrying a small grey-white pack. He is also photographed leaving the area, and as some commentators claim, still carrying his backpack (a detailed report here from informationclearinghouse). It appears also that his defense lawyer is not interested in sourcing this evidence for his defense.

Jan 13 16:06

The Tsarnaev Trial And The Possibility Of A Plea Deal

When Judy Clarke joined the defense team for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, it seemed a plea deal could happen in the case. After all, the well-known defense attorney has helped other high-profile clients — such as the Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, Atlanta Olympics bomber Eric Rudolph and Tucson gunman Jared Loughner — avoid the death penalty and get life sentences instead.

But with jury selection now underway in the Boston Marathon bombing trial, there has been no plea deal.

“This case in particular is appropriate for resolution by a plea,” said Northampton defense attorney David Hoose. “Where there are so many victims involved and so many people whose lives would be disrupted and old memories brought to the fore again, there is more reason than in any case for there to be a plea [deal].”

Webmaster's Commentary:

It sounds like this Judy Clarke is the government's "fixer" to get patsies to plead guilty. Were she really working for Tsarnaev, she could win the case simply by showing the jury the remains of the bomb and backpack, and the photos of both Tsarnaev brothers taken at the scene before the blast, which clearly show the brothers were not the source of the backpack with the bomb!

When Martin Luther King was assassinated, Patsy James Earl Ray was told by his government-appointed attorney that if he did not challenge the official story and pled guilty, Ray would get a short prison sentence. Of course, the judge sentenced James Earl Ray to life without parole then refused to allow Ray to change his plea!

Russian Media, Turkish Politicians Suggest U.S., Israeli Involvement in Paris Attacks

Conspiracy theories are swirling around last week’s terror attacks in Paris, and beyond the customary fringe websites, they are being aired by Turkish politicians and mainstream Russian and Iranian media outlets.

Those making – or hinting at – the claims would have the world believe that U.S. or Israeli intelligence services were behind the attacks on the offices of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper and a kosher supermarket, which together with a street shooting left 17 victims and three terrorists dead over three days.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-California, on Monday fired-off another round of shots against the Republican majority in the House of Representatives this time accusing them of blocking the funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) when the terrorist threat level is the highest it has been in years. Rep. Pelosi claimed that the Obama administration and Democrats in Congress want to protect Americans, while the Republicans claim that Obama and the Democrats have one goal: Increasing the number of Democrat voters. Yet critics of Obama and his backers in both houses of the U.S. Congress say that Pelosi's comments have long ago reached the level of absurdity.

Fort Hood Soldier Monitoring for Ebola Symptoms Found Dead Outside Residence

A Fort Hood soldier recently ordered to self-monitor for exposure to the Ebola virus was found dead outside his off-post residence Tuesday morning.

According to Fort Hood, the soldier had recently returned to Texas on emergency leave and was ordered to self-monitor himself twice per day and report the status to medical officials. That directive is standard protocol for soldiers returning from service in West Africa.

Officials said that there is no indication the man had contracted Ebola, but medical tests were being performed to ensure there was no threat to the community.

Results of a medical exam that are expected to shed light into the man's cause of death are expected Tuesday afternoon.

JE NE SUIS PAS CHARLIE

We hear much about bloody events in Paris being an attack upon western traditions and freedom of the press, and I am sorry but such claims are close to laughable, even though there is nothing remotely funny about mass murder. It certainly is not part of the best western tradition to insult the revered figures of major religions. You are, of course, technically free to do so in many western countries – always remembering that in many of them, a wrong target for your satire will get you a prison term for “hate crimes” – but it does represent little more than poor judgement and extremely bad taste to exercise that particular freedom. What Charlie Hebdo does is not journalism, it is sophomoric jokes and thinly disguised propaganda. Hebdo’s general tone and themes place it completely outside the mythic tableau of heroic defender of free speech or daring journalism, it being very much a vehicle for the interests of American imperialism through NATO.

IRS keeps Albuquerque Tea Party in limbo 5 years after tax-exempt status application

Before there were the lost Lerner emails, the congressional hearings and the retaliatory budget cuts, there was the Albuquerque Tea Party, a group of politically minded folks in New Mexico who wanted to get together and share ideas for taking back their country. The IRS had other ideas about them.

Five years after the Albuquerque Tea Party applied for tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(4) of the tax code, they remain in limbo — their application apparently no closer to being approved or denied than it was the day they mailed it to the IRS on Dec. 29, 2009.

Charlie Hebdo Reinvigorates Itself With “A Bang”

Call me cynical, conspiratorial, or whatever. The writing is all over the wall on this one. Clear and convincing video evidence that the killers missed the officer’s head on the sidewalk (yet worldwide media outlets continue to air a doctored version of it), a conspicuous yet little publicized suicide of the police commissar heading the investigation of the attacks just days later, and the photo op (and security nightmare) of the century, of dozens of heads of state, choreographed for the occasion less than a week later. It all wreaks of major global psy-ops.

There is something very wrong with anyone who can’t see that there is something terribly wrong with this picture.

Turkish President's Stunning Outburst: The French Are Behind The Charlie Hebdo Massacre; Mossad Blamed

It was less than 48 hours ago when Turkey’s prime minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, joined millions marching in Paris to pay tribute to the 17 people killed by ISIS-supporting extremists. Then, almost the moment he got back, things changed, and as the FT politely paraphrases what transpired, the "country’s president struck a much more confrontational tone." That's one way of putting it. Another is that the former PM and current president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, of NATO-member Turkey did the unthinkable: accused the west, and French citizens in particular, of staging the Charlie Hebdo murder in order to blame Muslims, even as the mayor of Ankara said "Mossad is definitely behind such incidents?.?.?.?it is boosting enmity towards Islam."

UVA reinstates fraternity after police can't find evidence of Rolling Stone rape claims

Months after a troublesome Rolling Stone article detailed rape claims on campus, the University of Virginia has reinstated its chapter of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

The decision came after Charlottesville police told UVA "that their investigation has not revealed any substantive basis to confirm that the allegations raised in the Rolling Stone article occurred at Phi Kappa Psi," the university said in a statement.

"We welcome Phi Kappa Psi, and we look forward to working with all fraternities and sororities in enhancing and promoting a safe environment for all," UVA President Teresa A. Sullivan said.

IS THERE A LESSON TO BE LEARNT FROM CHARLIE?

why is it permissible for a devout Jew to enter, or even pray in a mosque but not a church?

Islam, like it’s brother religion Judaism, forbids images for the simple reason that the Prophet Mohammed Himself was aware that if people saw his face portrayed by people, they would soon start worshiping Him. He spoke against such images, saying “I’m just a man.”

Therefore, there are no images or statues of the Prophet in mosques, unlike many churches which prominently display images of their various Saints or of Jesus Himself.
