12 Signs that food shortages are already here

America’s supply chains are already extremely fragile. Port congestions, labor shortages, rampant inflation and pandemic-related economic restrictions are all significantly increasing the likelihood of rampant food shortages in the near future. Here are the 12 signs that food shortages are already here.

When The Trucks Stop, It’s Over

I guarantee that most ordinary folks have no idea… When the truck’s stop rolling, it’s over. If trucks stopped moving all across our land, within a short period of time nearly all Americans would be in a life-threatening situation from major delivery shortages. -- 70% of all freight that is moved in the U.S. is done by truck. You (we) depend on that ‘stuff’ for our survival. -- A major disruption in truck travel would immediately impact seven major industries. It would bring America to its knees within days due in part to “Just-In-Time” manufacturing, zero-inventory, and the fact that our modern way of life is entirely dependent upon unimpeded distribution chains.

Here it comes: Food prices set to skyrocket throughout 2022 as rising costs hit small-to-medium-sized farms

Joe Biden is quickly becoming known as ‘The Inflation President’ as prices rise on just about everything that Americans need to survive, including food. -- And what’s more, prices are not expected to drop anytime soon because this administration is simply not competent. -- The Epoch Times reports that due to ever-rising costs on small to mid-sized farms, food prices are set to skyrocket at least through 2022 and likely beyond, meaning wage gains that Americans experienced throughout the Trump administration are quickly dissipating as they pay more at the grocery store, the gas pump and in monthly energy and clothing expenses.

American forces smuggle stolen Syrian oil to their bases in Iraq

The US military has brought a convoy of vehicles loaded with military equipment and tanker trucks carrying stolen oil from Syria to its bases in northern Iraq.

Syria’s official news agency SANA reported on Monday that the convoy was made up of 111 vehicles, adding that it crossed into Iraq via al-Waleed, an illegal border crossing in the countryside of Syria’s northeastern province of Hasakah.

Local sources said the convoy was escorted by six armored vehicles, SANA reported.

According to the report, the oil was smuggled out of the area of al-Jazeera in northeastern Syria.

Earlier this month, a US convoy of 128 vehicles transferred military equipment and Syrian oil into northern Iraq.

Beware Biden’s Desperate Anti-Gun Pivot, When All Else Fails Confiscate Guns!

To be clear, such a move would be clearly unconstitutional, and the ATF certainly lacks the authority to impose such a rule. However, that hasn’t stopped this crowd before. Biden or whoever else is really calling the shots has shown they don’t care about the constitution or the rule of law. If they did, the Supremes wouldn’t have pulled down their drawers and given them a public spanking for trying to reinvent OSHA’s authority with their vaccine mandate, which Biden’s own chief of staff Ron Klain admitted was a “workaround” of the United States Constitution. -- The timing of such an anti-gun workaround couldn’t be better for Joe. Within the past few weeks, Biden has lost the support of the mainstream media – the very folks who got him elected.

Navy Sends A Message By Publicizing Guided Missile Submarine's Mediterranean Presence

The U.S. Navy’s Sixth Fleet has offered an unusual public disclosure of the location of USS Georgia (SSGN 729), one of four of the service’s converted Ohio class nuclear-powered guided-missile submarines, or SSGNs, as it conducted a brief stop near the island of Cyprus. These rare disclosures tend to occur at times of heightened international tensions. With the situation in Ukraine quickly approaching an outright crisis, it’s likely that the Navy intended for this glimpse at Georgia to serve as a signal to both allies and Russia that the United States has a highly capable presence in the region that can reach out and strike over long distances with little risk to itself.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is probably in response to the Russian Borey class submarine that tooled along the US coast for a week.

FLASHBACK - MAJESTIC MEMORIES

The government may declare victory in wars started in foreign lands, but for the people who live in small towns in this land the results are barely distinguishable from defeat. Lives are lost, families destroyed, futures shattered, hopes ruined; all this is the price paid by the people for the "foreign entanglements" we were long ago warned to avoid. The real price of war is paid not just by those who died in it, but by those who are left behind who bury their dead and pay the bills.

Donbass militia head claims Ukraine planning 'false flag' operation

In an interview with RT on Thursday, Eduard Basurin, a spokesperson for the forces of the unrecognised Donetsk People's Republic outlined details of an alleged plot to conduct a false flag operation in Ukraine's two breakaway eastern regions. Without providing evidence to back up the assertion, he claimed that commandos under the control of Kiev are planning to wear the uniforms of the Russian special forces as well as those of local fighters.

The official previously claimed, again without providing proof, that Ukraine was preparing six British-trained units with the task of infiltrating the rebel-held areas of the territory he represents, as well as that of the adjacent so-called ‘Lugansk People's Republic’. From there, the commandos, he said, would conduct diversions and terrorist attacks on power stations, gas and water supplies, and chemical plants.

Congress's 1/6 Committee Claims Absolute Power as it Investigates Citizens With No Judicial Limits

In its ongoing attempt to investigate and gather information about private U.S. citizens, the Congressional 1/6 Committee is claiming virtually absolute powers that not even the FBI or other law enforcement agencies enjoy. Indeed, lawyers for the committee have been explicitly arguing that nothing proscribes or limits their authority to obtain data regarding whichever citizens they target and, even more radically, that the checks imposed on the FBI (such as the requirement to obtain judicial authorization for secret subpoenas) do not apply to the committee.

NATURALLY: CDC Admits Natural Immunity Outperformed Vaccine-Only Protection Against Delta Variant

The CDC is finally ready to talk about natural immunity.

According to a report from the Daily Caller, a new CDC study found natural immunity outperformed vaccinations – granting stronger protection than vaccination alone – against the delta variant strain of COVID-19.

“The study examined four categories of people — unvaccinated and vaccinated who survived a previous COVID-19 infection, and unvaccinated and vaccinated who had never been infected — in California and New York between May and November 2021,” the Daily Caller reports. “The highest case rates were among those who had neither been vaccinated or previously infected. The most protection against infection and hospitalization was in those who had both been vaccinated and survived an earlier bout with the virus.”

“The agency cautioned that the data in question only measured results against the Delta variant and that Omicron may present new challenges that alter the calculus of natural immunity versus vaccination.”

The Shameful Decline Of Scientific American

Scientific American just did a hit job on one of America’s leading biologists and conservationists. All that, right after his passing. This marks a shameful low point in a steep decline of the magazine in recent years.

Scientific American is the oldest magazine in the US dealing with science. Continuously in print since 1845, it is known for being full of articles by world-class scientists on different topics. According to its About page, over 200 Nobel Prize winners have contributed to it.

One guy who wrote articles for them was Edward O. Wilson, an American biologist often touted as Darwin’s natural heir. Unfortunately, this great mind passed away on the 26th of December, 2021. His ideas have greatly influenced my thinking on the world. Learning of his death, I decided to Google around the internet a bit, trying to find some summaries of his life’s work.

The Wolves Will Become Sheep

When some people acquire power, they act like wolves. They take whatever savage actions are needed to win and dominate. They turn their opponents and critics into sheep, who learn to be quiet or face vicious attacks and destruction.

Think of Joseph Stalin killing his rivals. Think of the Castro brothers torturing, imprisoning and exiling political opponents. Consider the decay of Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe, as political opponents were imprisoned, killed and exiled. Recall the ruthlessness of Hugo Chavez in taking over Venezuela. He destroyed or exiled middle-class opponents. Meanwhile, the militia was cheerful about using force to destroy the middle class, which had created a successful, wealthy Venezuela.

Top Florida health official on leave over support for vaccination

The Florida Department of Health has placed a top official on administrative leave after he criticised staff over their vaccination rate.

In an email on 4 January, Dr Raul Pino called unvaccinated staff members "irresponsible" and wrote "we are not even at 50% - pathetic".

Legislation passed in Florida late last year prohibits employers, public and private, from mandating jabs.

DOH confirmed on Wednesday the doctor's actions were being investigated.

"As the decision to get vaccinated is a personal medical choice that should be made free from coercion and mandates from employers, the employee in question has been placed on administrative leave, and the Florida Department of Health is conducting an inquiry to determine if any laws were broken in this case," a spokesperson said in a statement to the BBC.

Diplomat blasts West’s ‘Russian invasion of Ukraine’ rumors as cover-up for its own gambit

The West’s claims of Russia’s alleged preparations for an invasion of Ukraine serve as an information cover-up in order to plot its own provocations, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.

"Western and Ukrainian media outlets and officials have been increasingly engaged in rumors of Russia’s pending invasion of Ukraine. This is how they formulate it. We are certain that this crusade is aimed at creating an information cover-up for preparing their own large-scale provocations, including those of a military nature, that may have the most tragic consequences for regional and global security," the spokeswoman explained.

Moscow’s fears are confirmed by the West’s genuine inflammatory acts, the diplomat stressed.

Jan. 6 Committee Asks Ivanka Trump to Cooperate in Inquiry

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol sent a letter on Thursday to Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former President Donald J. Trump, seeking her cooperation with its inquiry.

The letter to Ms. Trump, who served as one of the president’s senior advisers, comes after Representative Liz Cheney, Republican of Wyoming and the vice chairwoman of the Jan. 6 select committee, said the panel had gathered evidence that Ms. Trump had implored her father to call off the violence as a mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol.

“We know his daughter — we have firsthand testimony — that his daughter Ivanka went in at least twice to ask him to please stop this violence,” Ms. Cheney said in an interview on ABC News this month.

Destroying the Supply Chain One Mandate at a Time

Only 55% of US truck drivers are currently vaccinated; 9% plan to take the vaccine, but 36% refuse. The Supreme Court’s ruling to end Biden’s vaccine mandate for private corporations did not expand to border laws. The US Department of Homeland Security is already warning travelers to expect border crossing delays once this mandate goes into effect. This will have a negative chain reaction — driver shortages will lead to supply shortages, which will lead to higher prices for both businesses and consumers. If these mandates continue, expect the supply chain crisis to continue as well.

Biden must give Putin ‘bloody nose’ if Russia invades Ukraine – US senators

Republican lawmakers turned up their anti-Russia rhetoric on Wednesday after a meeting with President Joe Biden. The elected represtatives told reporters that the American leader needs to give Russian President Vladimir Putin a “bloody nose,” should Moscow invade Ukraine. Maxwell Defense Files Motion for New Trial Over Sex Trafficking Charges

Ghislaine Maxwell’s defense team filed a motion in federal court on Dec. 19 requesting a new trial for the British socialite.

On Dec. 29 Maxwell was found guilty of five out of six sex-trafficking charges on behalf of the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Accompanying exhibits for the new trial request are under seal.

At the center of the motion is Juror No. 50, who had recently stated publicly he was a victim of childhood sexual abuse and made this known to his fellow jurors during deliberations.

The prosecution had previously requested there be an inquiry into the juror and the defense had previously requested a new trial.

On Jan. 5, Judge Alison Nathan set a briefing schedule with Jan. 19 as the date the defense could officially file a motion for a new trial. The prosecution could respond on Feb. 2 and the defense could reply to that on Feb. 9.

Arguably, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, and certainly the one country which led the charge on vaccines has proven that using your citizenry as guinea pigs has its pitfalls.
