Prince Andrew won't voluntarily cooperate in Epstein inquiry, prosecutor says

In November, Andrew said he was “willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations if required”.

Berman made a similar claim in January, which former sex crimes prosecutors told the Guardian was most likely a move designed to win political support for the investigation.

Buckingham Palace said then it would not comment and the matter was being dealt with by the prince’s legal team. Contacted on Monday, a Palace spokeswoman said: “The issue is being dealt with by the Duke of York’s legal team.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

That Prince Andrew has most probably retained this woman, with an absolutely colorful background, when it comes to clients, speaks volumes here.

Apparently, in 21st century Britain, being part of the royal family, means never having to say you're sorry, even if you may be just as guilty as sin for acts which you are now attempting to cover up the best you can; I do feel sorry for Queen Elizabeth; his ex-wife, and his kids, that he could do something like what he is accused of; but sympathy for Prince Andrew?!? Hell, no.

He appears to be purchasing the best defense team money can buy, as did OJ Simpson did with his "Dream Team", when he was accused of murdering his Ex, and her boyfriend; I fully expect the precise, same results here.

But the ultimate effects on the royal family, will wind up far worse than those of Mexhit, as the royal family will be dealing with the stigma of the accusation for a very, very long time.

Trump’s Engineered Crash: Massive Pump and Dump Over Deep State Bio-Engineered Pandemic Has Killed America

Trump didn't engineer this but he will take the blame,or so they hope. The Psyop continues according to plan.

The media, America and Europe, even Russia, has been in full censorship mode for weeks now. They, as with Trump and Gang, are shills for what we call the Kosher Nostra, a massive criminal conspiracy that has overwhelmed world governments through murder, blackmail and bribery.

They have been doing this since late antiquity, they have been caught many times, named and renamed, always in the shadows. From day one, we found them behind Donald Trump and those around him.

Keep It Simple and Question: Propaganda, Technology, and Coronavirus

Technology and technique, the technical way of thinking that undergirds it, are what we should fear most, not the will-o’-the-wisps marched out daily by the corporate mass media to create fear and panic. Those are ghost fears that should only frighten children.

But as I have written before, most Americans are children, living inside a doll’s house of illusions and delusions while government and intelligence forces and their mass media accomplices play with them through technological propaganda.

Italy quarantines 16 million people: “the effect proves the cause” Mar 8

Let’s go to NBC News for the word on what’s happening in Italy. March 8, 2020, “Coronavirus updates live: Million quarantined in Italy, as D.C. reports first case”. (see also this from Wall Street Journal)

This NBC piece, as so many others do, mixes and matches reports. Millions quarantined there, first case here. The tactic is meant to build up details of an overwhelming cascade of “proof”: the threat is real, the storm clouds have opened and the rain is falling.

Karl MARX’s Influence on Abraham LINCOLN

Friends,
These columns don’t often cite The Washington Post; however, last summer I ran across an article that I saved for future reference and use. And today I will reproduce it.
For the past century and more there has been lively discussion—and debate—over Abraham Lincoln, his life, his views, and the legacy of his presidency left to us. Writers as diverse as historian David Donald, black writer Lerone Bennett, and Professor Thomas di Lorenzo (in two significant books), have attempted to dissect Lincoln’s life and the revolutionary “new” America he gave birth to.

We Are Threatened By More Than Coronavirus: The Deadly Consequences of Wokeness and Identity Politics

The Consequences of Identity Politics

Cultural, social, and moral death inflicted by “wokeness”

Paul Craig Roberts

We face more dangers—perhaps greater ones—than the coronavirus. Both the US as a community of people and its economy are under dangerous assault by forces of our own making. This article focuses on the threat to community. A future article will address the threat to the economy.

Here are three examples of what has happened to the United States as a community of people:

The Futility of Russian Deals with Erdogan

I am hearing bits and pieces that Erdogan is transferring terrorists to Ukraine.

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org – Home – Stephen Lendman)

The US, Israeli, and Turkish regime under Erdogan can never be trusted.

Time and again they agree to one thing, then go another way — falsely blaming others for their bad faith.

Numerous times before in Astana and Sochi, Erdogan agreed to establish a demilitarized zone in Idlib province Syria, free from jihadists.

Russia fulfilled its obligations. So did Syria, not Turkey by continuing to arm and otherwise support al-Nusra and likeminded terrorists in the province, along with giving them safe haven in Turkish territory.

Donbass and Syria – A Perfect Storm Approaching?

Suppose you were planning to start, or at least risk, a full scale multi-front war between superpowers, and you wanted to prepare your domestic situation as much as possible beforehand, without exposing or admitting your plan ahead of time.

The Capitalist Class, the Ruling Class, the Parasite Class has just about sucked the Earth dry. Humanity, the environment, the social web of the human community, the world economy, evolution itself, all are on their last legs, disintegrating before our eyes. And this criminal class would like nothing more than to overturn the table, cry “Havoc”, and go into hiding in their billion dollar super bunkers for a few generations while the Earth depopulates, and regenerates if it can.

Natalie Maines has 'no regrets' on speaking out against the Iraq war in 2003 despite industry backlash... as Dixie Chicks celebrate upcoming release of their first album in 14 years

The Dixie Chicks paid a heavy price with an all-out industry backlash for comments made by lead singer Natalie Maines against President George W. Bush and the impending Iraq war in 2003.

And despite public protests against the band and being blacklisted from country music airwaves, Natalie Maines admitted in the April edition of Allure magazine that she has 'no regrets' about what she said during a concert in London 17 years ago.

The award-winning group (which also includes Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer) took a much needed break from the industry and is now returning to music in grand fashion with their first album in 14 years, Gaslighter.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even if you loathe country music, please buy this album for someone you know who loves this genre; these ladies, for having had the courage to speak out when it was "unfashionable" to do so regarding the Iraq war, (and in fact, wrecked their career for 14 years), deserve this album to go "double platinum", or whatever jargon passes for highest selling these days.

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman orders arrests of Saudi Arabia king's brother, an ex-crown prince and a cousin by masked black-clad guards for 'treason' as he consolidates his hold on power

Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Nayef arrested
Over plot to oust king and son, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, reports suggest
Mohammed bin Nayef had been crown prince before his title was taken away
King Salman put his son - Prince Mohammed bin Salman - first in line for throne.

The brother and nephew of Saudi Arabia's King Salman have been arrested over a plot to oust the king and his son, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The detentions cast aside the last vestiges of potential opposition to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and come as the kingdom limits access to Islam's holiest sites in a highly sensitive move to contain the fast-spreading coronavirus.

Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, a brother of King Salman, and the monarch's nephew Prince Mohammed bin Nayef were accused of treason.

They were taken from their homes early on Friday by black-clad royal guards, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unnamed sources.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder; how long before these men get assassinated, and their families are imprisoned for life?!?

And will someone please remind me, about all the LOGICAL REASONS why Bin Salman is one of two of Trump's "BFFS forever" in the Middle East, the other being Israel's Bibi Netanyahu?!?

I am REALLY having a hard time with this, thank you.

THROUGH APPS, NOT WARRANTS, ‘LOCATE X’ ALLOWS FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TO TRACK PHONES

U.S. law enforcement agencies signed millions of dollars worth of contracts with a Virginia company after it rolled out a powerful tool that uses data from popular mobile apps to track the movement of people's cell phones, according to federal contracting records and six people familiar with the software.

The product, called Locate X and sold by Babel Street, allows investigators to draw a digital fence around an address or area, pinpoint mobile devices that were within that area, and see where else those devices have traveled, going back months, the sources told Protocol.

They said the tool tracks the location of devices anonymously, using data that popular cell phone apps collect to enable features like mapping or targeted ads, or simply to sell it on to data brokers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is both a dangerous precedent, and yet another, painful example of the reality of how much we have morphed, as a society, from allegedly "Innocent until proven guilty" to a "Guilty until proven innocent, Code Napoleon Throwback law.

The Despicable USA – Theater of Dystopia. A Nation Run by Gangsters

These continuing egregious, lawless crimes around the globe result in the murder, maiming, and displacement of countless human beings in a number of countries. But these crimes are immune from impeachment because they enjoy overwhelming bi-partisan support. Additionally, the President has severely curtailed important life-preserving domestic programs and environmental protections designed to save the health and lives of US citizens, while the Congress yawns.

The obscene, insane annual $125 Trillion bi-partisan military intelligence budget, that includes 17 separate intelligence agencies, pre-empts development of any serious social and physical infrastructure.[3] And, such policy endangers everybody at home and abroad. Who really is the enemy of the US? What is clear is that the US is at war with the world.

Israeli Police Shoot Sponge-tipped Bullets at Two Palestinian Boys in East Jerusalem

In one of the incidents, a policeman is caught on tape inserting his weapon between the bars of a school gate and firing some five shots at children standing in the schoolyard.

Israeli Border Police officers fired sponge-tipped bullets at two Palestinian boys in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Isawiyah in two separate incident this week.

The shootings were allegedly carried out in violation of police regulations that prohibit firing at minors as well as at the upper body of individuals.

Sixteen-year-old Mohamed Atia was shot Monday while standing in his schoolyard and his arm was fractured.

Ten-year-old Fawzi Abid was shot Tuesday while standing on the balcony of his home when clashes erupted between youths in the neighborhood and the police, sustaining an injury to his hand that required medical attention.

The police said in response that youths have been hurling stones at police officer over the past few days, including from within the school grounds.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Collective punishment... is a war crime; collective punishment against innocent kids?!? SBP (standard, brutal procedures against Palestinian kids), courtesy of the Israeli Border Police.

and I would almost be willing to bet real money on this; these officers were not removed, pending any kind of disciplinary hearing, but congratulated by their COs because of the targets they picked, salted with a lot of frustration that they couldn't assassinate these kids on site, as well as all the other Palestinian kids attending this school.

NEWS/ASIA PACIFICFighting in Rakhine, Chin states rages as Myanmar limits internet

Yangon, Myanmar - Continued fighting between Myanmar's military and the Arakan Army armed group has left several people dead in recent days as the government continues a clampdown on the western region.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, Myanmar, and its military, has proven me wrong on this one.

Lawyers for survivors of 9/11 victims accuse Saudi authorities of targeting witnesses: Legal team also reveals that murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi was 'potential witness' in lawsuit

A legal team representing survivors and familes of victims of the 9/11 attacks has accused Saudi authorities of trying to silence several witnesses.

An almost two-decades-old lawsuit brought to court by thousands of victims and their families accuses Saudi officials of having ties to the 11 September 2001 attacks on New York and Washington. About 3,000 people were killed.

On Wednesday, lawyers representing the families said that four of their witnesses in the case had been threatened or intimidated by alleged Saudi agents.

On those grounds, the plaintiffs' legal team requested that the identities of the witnesses in the drawn-out legal battle be protected and kept secret.

Lawyers representing the Saudi government denied the allegations of witness tampering, saying the claims were "based on hearsay within hearsay".

Webmaster's Commentary:

Holy Crud!! IF, in fact, the connection to the Kashoggi assassination and his info is allowed to be presented, and proves credible in a court of law, this could change everything; everything, of course, except the mind of a President, heck-bent on further polishing the turd of his relationship with the Saudi Dictator, Prince Bin Salman, even further at an horrific cost to the Saudi people, and specifically, the people of Yemen, who are dying every day in airstrikes hitting infants; children; women; and the medically fragile elderly; the bombing of NGOs, like Medicins Sans Frontiers, who have been forced to leave Yemen; the poisoning (possibly with weaponized cholera) of Yemen's water system, making way for a plague of cholera; and starvation, because aid ships are not allowed to dock at Yemen's primary port.

Mr. President, a WORD, PLEASE: Do you realize the extent to which you have allowed this man to jeopardize the perception of this country in the Middle East and beyond, by slavishly following his dictates in Yemen?!?!

And that is not all, Mr. President; HATE COMES FROM THE TOP ON DOWN, if you are a Christian, or a Jew, in Saudi Arabia; from that last report commissioned by the former British foreign secretary, Jeremy Hunt, in which the following statement was made: "In Saudi Arabia, the report says, school textbooks “teach pupils religious hatred and intolerance towards non-Muslims, including Christians and Jews”.

MR. PRESIDENT, AND MR. SECRETARY OF STATE, PLEASE WAKE UP, AND SMELL THE ROTTING SMELL OF RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE HERE, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE!!

Remembering The Alamo

Also remember Goliad where 400 Texicans were massacred after surrendering by Santa Ana and the Mexican Army!

Tomorrow, March 6, marks the anniversary of the fall of the Alamo outside of San Antonio, Texas, back in 1836. This event is so significant in my mind that I always try to devote a column that honors the heroism of these men on or around the anniversary of the occasion.

For 13 days, 189 brave and determined patriots withstood Santa Anna’s seasoned army of over 4,000 troops. To a man, the defenders of that mission fort knew that they would never leave those ramparts alive. They had several opportunities to leave and live. Yet they chose to fight and die. How foolish they must look to this generation of spoiled Americans.

Coronavirus: Remember the “Fake” 2009 H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic: Manipulating the Data to Justify a Worldwide Public Health Emergency

Author’s Introduction

On January 30th 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) in relation to China’s novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) categorized as a viral pneumonia. The virus outbreak was centred in the city of Wuhan, a city in Eastern China with a population in excess of 11 million.

In the week prior to January 30th decision, the WHO Emergency Committee “expressed divergent views”. There were visible divisions within the Committee. On January 30th, a far-reaching decision was taken in an irresponsible fashion without the support of expert opinion at a time when the coronavirus outbreak was limited to Mainland China.

Turkey Is Forcibly Transporting Migrants to the Greek Border, Pushing Them Across

Editor’s note: Has graduated from simply luring the migrants to the Greek border, and helping them reach (and penetrate) it — to at least in some cases, forcibly transporting them there and pushing them across. Apparently the Turkish border police has in some cases fired tear gas at the migrants to pressure them to attempt to breach the Greek border.

Around 300 migrants from Ankara’s Akyurt Repatriation Center were transported to the border against their will on Feb. 29, said Sad?k Onur Gelbal, the chair of the Ankara Bar Association’s Migrant Rights Center on March 4.

A Terrifying Scenario: Coronavirus in ‘Quarantined’ Gaza

What if the Coronavirus reaches the besieged Gaza Strip?

While the question carries great urgency for all Palestinians living under Israel’s military occupation, the Gaza situation is particularly complex and extremely worrying.

Nearly 50 countries have already reported cases of COVID-19 disease, one of several epidemics that are caused by the Coronavirus. If developed countries, such as Italy and South Korea, are struggling to contain the deadly virus, one can only imagine what occupied Palestinians would have to face should the virus strike.

In fact, according to official Palestinian reports, the Coronavirus has already reached Palestine following a visit by a South Korean delegation in the period between February 8 and 15, which included a tour in the major Palestinian cities of Jerusalem, Nablus, Jericho, Hebron, and Bethlehem.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF this plague hits Gaza, you can bet real money that instead of doing something concrete, top help victims heal, and minimize rates of infection, Israeli officials will "seal off" infected areas, and allow this potentially bioengineered disease to "run its course"; Mengele would have been SO PROUD of this Israeli policy!!

And hey, 30 Palestinian kids who have had to have limbs amputated, because IDF sharpshooters know just how, and where, to aim, to cause these horrendous injuries?!?

"REALLY, NO BIG DEAL!!" - Official IDF souse.

Forced Islamisation at Swedish School as 9-Year-Olds Confess to Allah in Religious Studies – Reports

According to a disturbed parent, the teacher threatened her daughter with detention if she refused to participate in a lesson that included confessing to the Islamic faith in a letter and prayer.

Söderfors School in Tierp has come under fire for its unorthodox methods of teaching religious studies.

According to the news portal Katerina Magasin, third-graders were forced to confess to Islam and Allah in a letter during a lesson in religious studies. Among other things, the nine-year-olds had to write “I belong to Islam”.

Anamaria von Roteliuc, the mother of a nine-year-old girl, told the magazine the pupils also had to participate in a prayer, while a minaret call was played in the classroom. Furthermore, the children had to colour a mosque on a piece of paper.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I a parent of a kid at that school who had been forced to identify with a religion other than their own, I would pull that kid out of school so fast, as to make the administration's head spin.

I would then either "vote with my feet", and leave Sweden as a "religious refugee", or find a job in another country which does not enforce the teaching of one religion over another in this way.

SUPER TUESDAY PLAGUED BY LONG LINES, CLOSED POLLING STATIONS AND SYSTEMIC FAILURE

SOURCE: MINT PRESS
Chaos and gridlock again reigned across much of America as fourteen states chose their candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination yesterday on Super Tuesday. Many voters were forced to wait in line for up to six hours as understaffed and poorly equipped polling stations were inundated with voters, particularly in Texas and California, the two largest and most influential Super Tuesday states.

In California, electronic voting systems were unable to connect and experienced severe problems, something election integrity activists had warned was bound to happen. The law dictates that all those in line by closing time must be allowed to cast a ballot. But the technical difficulties meant that many stood in line through the evening for their right to choose. MOVE Texas, an activist focused on youth voter turnout organized lines at Texas State University in San Marcos, handed out pizza and bottles of water to those still waiting.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The "unbridled optimist" in me, desperately wants to believe that all of these problems were "completely accidental."

The "Going on 71 year old realist" in me, however, has lost any possible belief in "coincidence"; and that realist in me constantly asks the question; "Cui Bono" ?!? Who Benefits?!?

Because it sure as heck, was not Candidate Sanders!!

And if you have been living in a hermit's cage, or under the proverbial rock for the last 20 years, I would highly recommend the HBO documentary, "Hacking Democracy", from 2006, which was a cautionary tale of how electronic voting could be rigged way back then; can you imagine the "refinements" coders have been able to insert into these systems in the last 14 years, depending on their geopolitical proclivities, or those of the people who have hired them, to create our "new and improved" electronic voting systems?!?

CORONAVIRUS: FRENCH GOVERNMENT SEIZES ALL STOCKS OF FACE MASKS, THOUSANDS STOLEN FROM HOSPITALS

SOURCE: BREITBART
French President Emmanuel Macron ordered the seizure of all stocks and future production of medical face masks in the face of a growing threat from Coronavirus, and a spate of looting of masks from medical facilities.

The China-origin Coronavirus, which has already killed a known 3,190 people worldwide is becoming more established in Europe, with worst-impacted nation Italy’s death toll standing at 79. Neighbouring France has seen a comparatively modest four deaths, but the French government hasn’t baulked at launching a series of sweeping measures under the guise of public health.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One thing you cannot accuse France's President Macron of being, is "not Draconian enough!!"

So President Macron, a word, please; when you make the possession of something illegal, you immediately create an illegal marketplace for said item; your energy would, most probably, have been better spent, in authorizing the best French manufacturers of these items, to be making these items exclusively for the French government, and paying them intelligently to do so.

By this action, you are stoking fears, and not really doing anything to alleviate the problem; right now, you need the wise counsel of a seasoned Epidemiologist, who can guide your actions to prevent as many infections as possible in France.

And I seriously doubt that this "mask seizure" would have been one of their top recommendations.

DOD LINGUIST ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH ESPIONAGE FOR SHARING IDENTITIES OF US SPIES WITH HEZBOLLAH

SOURCE: ZERO HEDGE

A US department of defense employee has been arrested and charged with transmitting "highly sensitive classified" information to a foreign national with ties to the Lebanese Islamist militant group Hezbollah.

According to US federal prosecutors, 61-year-old Mariam Taha Thompson told a Lebanese man the names of foreign informants, as well as details of the information they provided to the United States - revealing some of the government’s most closely held secrets, according to the New York Times. Officials say Ms. Thompson endangered the lives of both sources and military personnel.

She was arrested at an overseas US base on February 27.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are a couple of questions which immediately spring to mind, following this arrest:

1. What in heaven's name possessed this woman to do such a thing?!?

2. Why was it that the DOD was only able to make this arrest well after "the horse was already out of the barn", as my late maternal grandmother was fond of saying?!? Why were the DOD's concerns not addressed until after the damage was already done?!?

3. And the dramatic "find" of a note under her mattress, when she had to understand that her personal effects would be the most immediately searched?!?

Forgive me, but something here does not pass the "smell test". I have to wonder if this woman is not being "flipped" by the DOD, in search of a far larger, more menacing threat to American security, OR, as is frequently the case with FBI stings, they have demonized her, and made her appear to be far more threatening than she ever was, to prove to a rather skeptical American public, that they are "doing something" to prevent terrorism from striking at the American heartland.

COCA-COLA ACCUSED OF FUNDING COLOMBIAN DEATH SQUAD

SOURCE: TELESUR ENGLISH
Coca-Cola was accused of hiring hitmen from a prominent paramilitary group between 1990 and 2002 to kill at least 10 trade union leaders.
U.S.-based Coca-Cola company along with more than 50 other companies were accused by Colombian courts of financing terrorism for their ties to the now-disbanded paramilitary organization, United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia, a fact trade union leaders have been denouncing for decades.

The cases against the companies will be heard in a transitional justice tribunal after the peace deal with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia and the government is signed.

Coca-Cola was accused of hiring hitmen from the AUC between 1990 and 2002 to kill at least 10 labor union leaders who were trying to organize Coca-Cola’s plants. U.K. oil company BP has also be taken to court for its funding of AUC, along with kidnapping and human rights abuses.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Every executive in these companies who "signed off" on these assassinations, should be publicly accused; tried and convicted of their crimes, if guilty; and do hard time in the worst facilities their countries have to offer.

In my world, particularly when working conditions are "crud", labor unions have a legitimate place and a purpose on this planet, and the leadership of these organisations should be dealt with through negotiations; not assassinations.

And NO ONE, no matter how far up the "corporate food chain" they may be, should be allowed to get away with murder, period, end of discussion.

Ending the Myth that Trump Is Ending the Wars: Trump has sent more new troops to the Middle East than he’s bringing home from Afghanistan.

There was this moment during the State of the Union Address that I can’t stop thinking about.

When President Trump spoke to army wife Amy Wiliams during his speech and told her he’d arranged her husband’s return home from Afghanistan as a “special surprise,” it was difficult to watch.

Sgt. Townsend Williams then descended the stairs to reunite with his family after seven months of deployment. Congress cheered. A military family’s reunion — with its complicated feelings that are typically handled in private or on a base — was used for an applause line.

That gimmick was the only glimpse many Americans will get of the human reality of our wars overseas. There is no such window into the lives or suffering of people in Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, or beyond.

That’s unacceptable. And so is the myth that Trump is actually ending the wars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Given that many of the Trump-Centric Evangelicals in this country are also "End of Time Believers", who believe that it will be only after a massive world war (which humankind MUST bring about) that Jesus' "Second Coming" will happen, coupled with the push by the military industrial complex for wars and more wars, I see both the chances for bringing about the end of existing wars, and not bringing about new ones, is statistically very slight for this administration.

And the hell of it it is, once the Dementocrats finally have nailed down their choices for President and Vice President, whoever they may be, we are still looking at a party which will never "cross the line" in terms of questioning if such a war is necessary, and if there might possibly be other alternatives which would see the US get what it wanted to get, geopolitically, without firing a shot.

So, as usual, at the end of the day, the American voter has utterly zero choice in finding a non-warmonger as their presidential or vice-presidential candidate, because no matter who they vote for, every vote in this Kabuki-like charade, is a vote for more war.; it pains me to say this, but if people are honestly, dispassionately looking at the American Presidential political process, this is the butt-ugly truth, no matter how you describe it.

Judge tosses Gabbard lawsuit against Google

A federal judge on Wednesday tossed Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard's lawsuit against Google, dismissing the Hawaii congresswoman's allegations that the tech giant censored her free speech rights by briefly suspending her presidential campaign ads.

Judge Stephen Wilson shot down Gabbard's key arguments, most prominently affirming that Google is not the government and therefore can't be held liable for violating her First Amendment rights.

The Gabbard campaign's "essential allegation is that Google violated [her campaign's] First Amendment rights by temporarily suspending its verified political advertising account for several hours shortly after a Democratic primary debate," Wilson wrote in a filing on Tuesday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but Judge Wilson's insistence that " Google is not the government" so strains credibility as to be laughable in the extreme; the only problem with these people, is stopping... laughing, when they say something as preposterously ludacris as is this statement.

Google and Facebook... have morphed into the surveillance/suppression arms of the US government; it is that simple, and just that immense.

Turkish Army Posts in Syria’s Idlib Merge With Rebel Positions: Russia says Turkey is violating past deals on Idlib

Turkish-backed Islamist rebels in Northern Syria’s Idlib Province have been getting more and more aid from Turkey to fight against the Syrian government. They are looking for direct Turkish backing by embedding closer and closer to Turkish Army posts. At this point, they’ve effectively merged.

This makes sense for the rebels to do, because having Syria attack al-Qaeda doesn’t look like a problem, but having Syria attack the Turkish military does. Making it less clear which is which ensures that every Syrian military operation is vilified.

Russian officials were critical of this tactic, saying Turkey was violating obligations they’d established in previous deals over Idlib, particularly deals when all those Turkish Army posts were established. This was done specifically so Turkey didn’t do exactly what they’re doing.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How ever this is happening, it does not auger well for peace; for the Syrian people, and for its government.

They Have the Watches, We Have the Time; US and Iran Hardliners Still Want War

For the US Empire, and those relishing the responsibility for its maintenance and expansion, to include much of corporate media, there can simply not be too much war.

There are hardliners in Iran who want confrontation and war with the US, just as for decades now we have had hardliners in the US start, prolong and sustain war after war, stretching from Western Africa to Pakistan. What we need to do, both Americans and Iranians, is to recognize the dangers within each of our own governments and not do anything to allow these hardliners to feed off each other, escalate crises and deliver the political space needed in both countries for war between the US and Iran to occur.

Back in January, well before the Democratic primary race had taken on its current composition, independent journalist Ruth Ann Oskolkoff reportedthat a source had heard from high-level Democratic Party insiders that they were planning to install Joe Biden as the party’s nominee, and to smear Bernie Sanders as a Russian asset.

“On January 20, 2020 at 8:20 p.m. PDT I received a communication from a reliable source,” Oskolkoff wrote. “This person had interactions earlier that evening with high level party members and associates of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) who said that they have now selected Biden as the Democratic Party nominee, with Warren as the VP. They also said the plan is to smear Bernie as a Russian asset.”

HomeWorld NewsWATCH: Fistfight breaks out in Turkish parliament after lawmaker lashes out at Erdogan over Idlib soldier deaths

Turkey’s parliament descended into a chaotic fistfight after an opposition lawmaker accused President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an of disrespecting Turkish soldiers killed recently in Idlib, Syria.

During a closed session about the country’s operations in Idlib, opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) member Engin Ozkoc said Erdogan disrespected the dead troops and had also acted irresponsibly by sending them into conflict without air cover.

The accusations quickly escalated into a huge brawl inside the chamber between government and opposition politicians, with punches thrown and lawmakers slapping and kicking each other.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I a Turkish Parliamentarian, what would have really "chapped my grits" here, would have been that this was ordered by Edrogan, with absolutely zero parliamentary input or review, as to whether this military intervention in Syria was necessary, or was Edrogan writing checks (again)for his military misadventures in Syria, which his military were unable to cash.

That would have angered me greatly.

I do not know if Turkey's Constitution allows for snap elections, but were I a Turkish Parliamentarian, upset at his current geopolitical proclivities, I would want to see this happen, and right now.

HomeWorld News‘You met Al-Qaeda’s medical staff’: US envoy to UN takes heat after proudly greeting notorious White Helmets

Colorful images of Ambassador Kelly Craft enthusiastically shaking hands with ‘White Helmets’ members made rounds online, with users reminding the diplomat of their connections to a jihadi group the US once fought against.
Craft, who serves as the US Ambassador to the United Nations, showed up at the Turkey-Syrian border, posing with members of the self-described “civil defense group.” She didn’t come empty-handed, though, promising a hefty $108-million “humanitarian support package” intended for the people of northern Syria.

“Grateful to shake the hands of the brave men and women of the #whitehelmets,” Kelly tweeted, hailing them as “ordinary people doing extraordinary things to save the lives of Syrian victims of Assad’s brutality.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think I'm about to get just a little ill over this; to truly not know what the facts are, is one thing.

But to know, absolutely ,what the facts are, and yet continue to lie to the American people and the world?!?

This is one of the highest, and most intense, forms of treason imaginable.

HomeWorld NewsHuman shield tactics again? ‘Israeli jets’ striking Syria force TWO civilian planes to change course

Two civilian airplanes bound for Qatar were reportedly used as cover by Israeli jets launching missiles from Lebanese airspace against targets near the Syrian cities of Homs and Quneitra.
READ MORE: Syrian air defenses engage ‘hostile targets’ over Homs & Quneitra

Syrian air defenses engaged incoming missiles shortly after midnight local time on Thursday, both near Homs in central Syria and Quneitra in the south, on the armistice line with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. Following the attack, reports appeared that at least two flights – one passenger, one cargo – had to change course to avoid getting struck by air defense missiles.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Putting civilian lives on the line has never been a moral, or ethical issue for either the IDF, or the Israeli government.

FEMA IS PREPARING FOR CORONAVIRUS “EMERGENCY DECLARATION”

SOURCE: MAC SLAVO
As Americans scramble to prepare themselves for the possibility that the coronavirus outbreak becomes a pandemic, FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) is also preparing. FEMA is “aware of the gravity of the situation” and ready to assist in a coronavirus response.

FEMA officials are preparing for an “infectious disease emergency declaration” by the president that would allow the agency to provide disaster relief funding to state and local governments, as well as federal assistance to support the coronavirus response, according to agency planning documents reviewed by NBC News.

VIDEO RELEASED SHOWING POLICE KILL 'ER' ACTRESS DURING WELFARE CHECK, AS SHE HAD A 'SEIZURE'

SOURCE: THE FREE THOUGHT PROJECT
(Support Free Thought) -

Los Angeles, CA — All too often in this country, police are called out to check on the health of an individual who may be physically or mentally troubled. And, all too often, instead of providing that person with help, police show up and hurt, arrest, or even kill them. This process is known as a welfare check and a former actress from the hit show “ER” became one of many victims to receive this ‘help’ in 2018. Video from the incident was held for nearly two years and was only released this week.

Vanessa Marquez, 49, hadn’t harmed anyone when police showed up at her South apartment on that foreboding day back in August 2018. The landlord had simply become concerned that she may have fallen ill and wasn’t taking care of herself, so he called police for help. Sadly, this help came in the form of government issued bullets.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am an extraordinarily lucky person; I have never, this lifetime, had a run-in with police that could have ever become dangerous. There were a couple of speeding tickets on Oahu, which I earned, and for which I did pay, but that was about it.

That being said, what about the ability to "talk someone down" before a police confrontation went south, and someone got horrifically hurt, or killed?!? How has that seemingly gotten lost in 21st century policing, because someone with this skill set, could most probably have prevented this "wellness check" from becoming lethal?

It sounds to me as though, in the 21st century, police in this country are in desperate need "psychological responders" to defuse situations before they result in someone's death; either that of an officer, or a person who may well not be of sound mind.

CORONAVIRUS VS. THE MASS SURVEILLANCE STATE: WHICH POSES THE GREATER THREAT?

SOURCE: JOHN W. WHITEHEAD
“If, as it seems, we are in the process of becoming a totalitarian society in which the state apparatus is all-powerful, the ethics most important for the survival of the true, free, human individual would be: cheat, lie, evade, fake it, be elsewhere, forge documents, build improved electronic gadgets in your garage that’ll outwit the gadgets used by the authorities.”—Philip K. Dick

Emboldened by the citizenry’s inattention and willingness to tolerate its abuses, the government has weaponized one national crisis after another in order to expands its powers.

The war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on illegal immigration, asset forfeiture schemes, road safety schemes, school safety schemes, eminent domain: all of these programs started out as legitimate responses to pressing concerns and have since become weapons of compliance and control in the police state’s hands.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Much of what happens in China's future, depends on its military; how loyal it will continue to be to a centralized government, which continues to abuse its people and act with an incredible degree of hubris, , or develop a new-found loyalty to the Chinese people themselves, suffering under the boot-heel of oppression.; and right now, that issue is up for grabs.

DID COVID-19 JUST POP ALL THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL BUBBLES?

SOURCE: CHARLES HUGH SMITH
Once confidence and certainty are lost, the willingness to expand debt and leverage collapses.

Even though the first-order effects of the Covid-19 pandemic are still impossible to predict, it’s already possible to ask: did the pandemic pop all the global financial bubbles? The reason we can ask this question is the entire bull mania of the 21st century has been based on a permanently high rate of expansion of leverage and debt.

The lesson of the 2008-09 Global Financial meltdown was clear: any decline in the rate of debt/leverage expansion is enough to threaten financial bubbles, and any absolute decline in debt and leverage will unleash a cascade that collapses all the speculative bubbles in stocks, real estate, collectibles, etc.

WHO Urges People To Go Cashless Because “Dirty Banknotes Can Spread The Virus”

Are you people starting to figure this out yet? Can you see where this is going?

By Tyler Durden

It looks like the Chinese started something…

Following reports that Beijing had “quarantined” dirty cash, the WHO warned on Monday that the virus could survive on banknotes, potentially spreading Covid-19 within communities, and across the world. To reduce the risk of being infected by money, the NGO advised citizens in countries struggling with outbreaks to favor digital payments when possible, the Daily Telegraph reported.

That the WHO is telling the public to avoid cash is hardly a surprise: research has found that coronaviruses have been found to live on surfaces for as long as 9 days.

Gene Genovese And Our Criminally Reckless Wars

Eugene Genovese (1930-2012) was an accomplished and influential historian of the United States whose professional and personal trajectory carried him from the radical Left to a distinctive form of conservatism. As a young man, he was a card-carrying communist. He ended up a devout Roman Catholic. His contributions to scholarship were legion and his impact on our understanding of slavery and on Southern slaveholders massive.

Genovese did not place a premium on getting along with others. Instinctively combative, he was a cantankerous colleague who never hesitated to say what he believed. Giving offense he considered a plus.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Genovese was right on both counts here; there is no "moral rightness" in the US invasion and occupation of Afghanistan; Iraq; any of the invasions of Africa; or Syria; this was all about money and resources; regime changing countries in order to expropriate natural resources to which the US had utterly no moral right; have them processed by multi-national centric companies not unfavorable to the US; and only sold in US dollars.

And please remember; the US is aiding and abetting Saudi war crimes in Yemen as I type this. And just in case you are dealing with a really bad case of SMD (selective memory disorder), let these images remind you of US complicity in Saudi war crimes (warning; these are graphic, to a "lose your lunch" point, but need to be posted, and seen.)

The Saudis are killing and maiming innocent children with their bombing runs.
The US military is providing "guidance" for these strikes.

Saudi coalition using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen
Deformities in Yemen suggests that the US military has supplied the Saudi military with depleted uranium weapons.

The result of this use of DU is causing massive rises in cancer rates; stillbirths, and horrific deformities of Yemeni children:

And yet, apparently, the Royal House of Saud; the Saudi government; and the US government, are perfectly comfortable with poisoning Yemeni children in the womb, and destroying not only their lives, but their families' lives as well. If there is a more cruel form of child abuse, I cannot imagine what that is.

And please DON'T start with me about "collateral damage"; in my world, there is none. Just non-combatants caught up at the wrong place, in the wrong time.

Pakistan court gives green light to women's march - with conditions

A Pakistani court on Tuesday gave the go-ahead to the country’s largest women’s rights event but told organisers to ensure participants adhere to “decency and moral values”.

The country-wide event, known as Aurat March, using the Urdu word for women, has been attended by tens of thousands over the last two years to mark International Women’s Day on March 8.

A court in Lahore was petitioned last month to place restrictions on the organisers and participants of the march, whom the complainant said had an agenda to “spread anarchy, vulgarity, blasphemy and hatred” against Islam.

The court told organisers to consult local officials to finalise arrangements for the event, which campaigns for reclaiming space for women as well as the LGBT community.

Global watchdogs have expressed concern in recent years over what they see as a growing clampdown on rights campaigns in Pakistan.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The organisers have to see these threats coming, and do their best to counter them, as peacefully and responsibly as is humanly possible. MARCHERS, PLEASE HAVE THE HORSE-SENSE TO PROTECT EACH OTHER HERE!!

As these documented stories go, the level of violence against Pakistani women, is horrific. From Wikipedia, we have the following statistics:

"According to a study carried out in 2009 by Human Rights Watch, it is estimated that between 20 and 30 percent of women in Pakistan have suffered some form of abuse. An estimated 5000 women are killed per year from domestic violence, with thousands of others maimed or disabled."

As you can see, from the postmark on the last article, this problem goes back a long way.

This is one of the many reasons you would NEVER find me in Islamabad; as an "uppity gal" who peacefully and logically speaks her mind, and as a Christian, I would probably get both assassinated and dismembered in this country, before I got home, most probably arriving back in pieces, as did Adnan Kashoggi.

Russia says Turkey trying to push 130,000 refugees from Syria into Greece - Interfax

Russia on Tuesday said that Turkey was trying to push 130,000 refugees from Syria into Greece, the Interfax news agency cited the Defence Ministry as saying.

The two thirds of these refugees - that Turkey is pushing from temporary camps in Syria - are Afghans, Iraqis and Africans, not Syrians, it added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What Turkey is attempting to do here, is "weaponize" refugees by having them pour into Europe, as "blackmail" for NATO not supporting Turkish military misadventures in Syria; and NATO wants no part of a fight against Russia for Syrian territory.

Where’s the outrage over Netanyahu trying to interfere in the US election?

For the last four years, there’s been a national debate regarding the scope of Russian interference in the 2016 election. The issue might end up dominating discourse in 2020 as well. Last month, intelligence officials warned House members that Russia is allegedly meddling in an effort to get Trump reelected.

Concerns about Putin’s impact on U.S. elections has generated countless articles and wall-to-wall cable news coverage. It also fueled an impeachment investigation. However, blatant election interference from other countries is certainly not treated in the same way.

This contradiction was on display over the weekend, when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed AIPAC’s annual policy conference via video feed. Netanyahu repeatedly referenced Democratic frontrunner Bernie Sanders, who skipped the conference and claimed that the lobbying group promotes bigotry. At the most recent Democratic debate, Sanders called Netanyahu a “reactionary racist.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Outrageous", MY ASTROLABE, Mr. Prime Minister!!

Bernie Sanders has no chance for the Dementocrat nomination, thanks greatly to the interference from AIPAC, which believes that a potentially dementia-stricken Joe Biden, whose campaign gaffes are so intense as to be absoflippinglutely unbelievable, is a far better candidate for President (for Israel), than is Sanders, with whom I am absolutely aligned in his call for a more "even handed" approach to the US's Middle East policy.

I would suggest that our Dementocrat brothers and Sisters are looking at a "brokered convention", into which Hillary Clinton, a two-time party "favorite/Failure" will try to re-insert herself as a Candidate.

IF, in fact, Clinton's candidacy is for the Vice-Presidency, whoever winds up at the top of the ticket, had better be wearing their Kevlar undies; hire a food-taster; and get the best private security people available in the world; because after the inauguration, should they clinch the win in November, they are going to need them.

Assad Joins Forces With Libya’s Hafter to Combat Turkey: East Libya govt will open embassy in Damascus

While recent generations have shown them reluctant to expand far beyond their borders, in the past few months Turkey has shown interest in overseas military engagements. Forces have been active in northern Syria with an eye toward regime change, and Turkey has also committed to military involvement in Libya.

That’s given Turkey two potential enemies to worry about, and given them each a potential new ally. The Syrian government and Libya’s self-proclaimed Libyan National Army (LNA) or Gen. Khalifa Haftar have agreed to cooperation, and a memorandum of understanding to confront Turkish aggression.

The LNA’s adjoining government, the eastern-based Tobruk Parliament, has confirmed it will be opening an embassy in Damascus. This will be the first Libyan embassy in Syria since the 2012 NATO-imposed regime change in Libya.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is one of the most significant developments regarding Libya, that you will almost never hear about, courtesy of the Corporate Presstitutes.

A very very curious, but astute, article appeared in mid-January of this year, from fp, and titled: Russia’s Role in the Libyan Civil War Gives It Leverage Over Europe

It then states that "recent joint Russian-Turkish summit in Moscow aimed at forging a cease-fire in Libya broke down after the Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar left without signing the proposed truce agreement. One of Haftar’s main backers is Russia, and his unwillingness to sign on to the deal raises important questions about not only the degree of influence Russia actually has in Libya, but also how serious it is about bringing an end to the conflict.

Russia first rose to prominence in Libya in September 2019 after it deployed mercenaries to the front lines of Tripoli to back Haftar, sparking concern in the United States and Europe that the Kremlin had finally thrown its hat into Libya’s civil war. Its presence in Libya was strikingly reminiscent of the decisive role it played in Syria, where it backed the regime of President Bashar al-Assad to brutal effect and essentially saved the regime from collapse."

but if Syria (and Russia) are bringing force to bear against the current UN/proxy military government in Tripoli, which Erdogan is claiming he is fighting to defend, we have a couple of potential outcomes, both lousy, for US involvement here.

The first is a triumphant Haftar, after taking Tripoli, and the rest of the country, calling for new elections, and throwing the delegitimized UN government out, and the question has to be asked; what is the US government actually willing to do to prevent this, in light of the fact that Russia is siding with Haftar?!?

The second is a prolonged US/NATO-led military against Haftar and the Russians, which could well turn Libya into another US Vietnam, with the same ultimate outcome as this war had.

And what concerns me, is that those in the Bowels of Power in this country appear to be sleepwalking into this trap, just as blissfully as did the US government in World War I.

One of the most brilliant films about war ever to have been made, is the 2nd Robert Downey Jr./Jude Law film about Sherlock Holmes; the title is "A Game of Shadows", and if you have not seen it, I urge you to do so, because it talks in very plain language, about just how regional wars like this get fanned, until they become world wars; this is the potential impact of Al Assad throwing his geopolitical fortunes with Russia, in supporting Haftar in Libya.

Erdogan’s Dance of Death With NATO

Although the evidence is murky, it appears that both Russian and Syrian jet fighters took part in the Feb. 27 attack on a Turkish mechanized infantry battalion consisting of roughly 400 soldiers. According to an account in Al-Monitor, two Syrian Sukhoi SU-22 pounded the convoy, forcing the troops to take cover. But then a pair of Russian Sukhoi SU-34s dropped advanced laser-guided bunker-buster bombs on two roadside buildings where Turkish forces had taken shelter, burying them in the rubble.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And the US government has responded accordingly, according to an article in msn.com, datelined today:U.S. promises Turkey ammunition for Syria's Idlib battle

The article goes on to state:

U.S. promises Turkey ammunition for Syria's Idlib battle

The United States is willing to give NATO ally Turkey ammunition alongside humanitarian assistance in northwestern Syria where Ankara is in a deepening standoff with Russia, the U.S. special representative for the region said on Tuesday. Lucy Fielder reports."

As I have mentioned on this site many times before, just because something is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing the US government can do, is no guarantee that it will not do it; I am very concerned that President Trump may well rue the day he and his Cabinet decided that this was the "right way" of handling Erdogan's "military misadventures" in Syria.

HAWAII LAWMAKERS PUSH SEVERE AMMO RESTRICTIONS

SOURCE: AMMO LAND
In the last year, gun owners across the U.S. have watched in horror as California has rolled out its byzantine and unworkable ammunition restrictions. Since July 1, 2019, gun owners in the Golden State have been required to undergo a background check each time they purchase ammunition. The program has been a disaster. In December, the Sacramento Bee reported that tens of thousands of law-abiding Californians have been improperly denied ammunition purchases under the program, while only 101 were prohibited persons who were rejected. According to the report, “[b]etween July 1 and November, nearly one in every five ammunition purchases was rejected by the California Department of Justice.”

Not to be outdone, California’s neighbor to the left is seeking to outdo the Golden State tyrants with an even more intrusive scheme to harass law-abiding gun owners and ammunition buyers.

In late January, Hawaii lawmakers introduced HB 2736.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF something can be mucked up for Hawaii's citizens in amazing and startling ways, count on the Hawaii Legislature to do just that.

And somewhere, in the richly populated tales of graft, corruption, and massive cost over-runs in the State, one only has to look at Hawaii's "Light Rail to No Where" to understand the degree to which Hawaii lawmakers, have collectively, lost their minds.

YOU'LL NEVER GUESS HOW BIG BANKS WANT THE FED TO HANDLE THE CORONAVIRUS: MORE WALL STREET DEREGULATION!! "SURELY, THE BIG BANKS AREN'T CRAVEN ENOUGH TO USE COVID-19 AS AN EXCUSE TO LOBBY FOR LONG-SOUGHT REGULATORY ROLLBACKS, RIGHT? WRONG!"

The Bank Policy Institute, a lobbying group for big banks, drew criticism for a policy memo suggesting financial deregulation as a response to the coronavirus outbreak. (Photo: Phillipp/Flickr/cc)

A lobbying group for big banks in the United States came under fire Tuesday from financial industry experts for pressuring federal officials to push through long-sought regulatory rollbacks in response to the worldwide economic concerns sparked by the global coronavirus outbreak.

On Sunday, Bank Policy Institute (BPI) chief executive Greg Baer, head of research Francisco Covas, and chief economist Bill Nelson published a post on the group's website entitled "Actions the Fed Could Take in Response to COVID-19." The BPI is a lobbying group whose members include Bank of America, Citigroup JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Those people, pushing for this, in terms of attempting to blame Covid-19 for the economic downturn, and want government regulators to "fix" it, by loosening restrictions on banking practices, are being disingenuous in the extreme.

And we have a companion piece, also from blacklistednews.com, with the following headline and commentary: FED: CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY RATE CUT, 50 BASIS POINTS

The article goes on to state: "The Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 50 basis points in an impromptu meeting on Tuesday as a response to the coronavirus.

The Fed said the “fundamentals of the U.S. economy remain strong” but that the coronavirus “poses evolving risks to economic activity.” The cut, which amounts to a half percentage point, lowered the current target range to between 1% and 1.25%."

Coronavirus Spending Bill Could Be Used to Cement Spying Powers, Surveillance Critics in Congress Warned

The congressional effort to rein in the government’s surveillance powers before a looming deadline on March 15 could run up against a new opponent: a new coronavirus.

House Democrats have been working on plans to further amend a provision of the Patriot Act, which as of 2015 provides a way for the government to get American citizens’ phone records from telecom companies. This and other key provisions of the Patriot Act must be reauthorized by March 15, or the surveillance authority lapses. The Democrats’ amended bill would pull the provision’s authorization while allowing and tweaking other other ways the government collects records.

But those negotiations have been thrown off track, with critics of the spying program alarmed by the possibility that congressional leaders may try to use the coronavirus outbreak — and the coinciding legislation to fund a response — as a vehicle to muscle through an unamended extension or reauthorization.

Lawmaker Condemns ‘Unacceptable’ CDC Decision to Stop Disclosing Number of Coronavirus Tests

A Democratic congressman has condemned the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for its “inexplicable” decision to stop publicly disclosing the number of Americans who have been tested for the novel coronavirus. Since the outbreak arrived in the U.S., the CDC has posted stats on its website which showed how many confirmed cases there were, the total number of U.S. deaths, and how many people had been tested for the disease.

But Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) noted Monday that the site no longer discloses the number of tests or the number of deaths. In an angry letter to CDC director Robert Redfield, Pocan wrote: “Americans are dying... We deserve to know how many people have been tested for, or who have died from, COVID-19.” Pocan added that “knowing that CDC testing is keeping pace with the likely number of cases is imperative to maintaining public trust.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Pocan is absolutely correct in his assessment here; what the CDC is doing, is not sitting well with most Americans, who want, desperately, to know that their chief national health entity is doing everything they can to both document the situation with existing cases, but is also helping to control this pandemic in the future, through extensive testing.

Dems Converge Around Dementia-Addled Warmonger Ahead Of Super Tuesday. The only problem? Biden’s brain is turning into sauerkraut....

Authored by Caitlin Johnstone via Medium.com,

Back in January, well before the Democratic primary race had taken on its current composition, independent journalist Ruth Ann Oskolkoff reported that a source had heard from high-level Democratic Party insiders that they were planning to install Joe Biden as the party’s nominee, and to smear Bernie Sanders as a Russian asset.

Webmaster's Commentary:

More geopolitical sound and fury, signifying... not one whole hell of a lot.

Biden is the Deep State/Warmonger's "wet dream" as a candidate, because even in the throes of his lack of mental acuity, as has been seen over and over in this gaffe-centric campaign, his "vision" is always comfortably aligned with that of his war-centric masters; more endless wars will be the order of the day, capped, ultimately, by a US return to the draft, when the "volunteer soldier concept"" cannot cut it anymore, between quality and quantity of those ultimately recruited for our military.

The Real Contagion is Fear

Why is the Illuminati media stoking fears of a global pandemic and financial meltdown? The purpose may be to reduce us to our most primitive survival instincts. From the threat of nuclear war in the 1960's to routine pandemic scares today, fear is a weapon of social & spiritual control.

The psychological equation is: if there is fear, then the virus must be dangerous. But this is actually like saying: if a man walking on a street at night believes a mugger is about to parachute out of the sky, the sky-mugger must be real.

Damn! Will the Zombie Virus Apocalypse never come? Mar 2

I write this piece for those who ordinarily have their heads on straight, when it comes to understanding the basics of HEALTH—but now, because of the “coronavirus epidemic,” are drifting back into the medical model: FIXATION ON GERMS.

A correct reading of suppressed medical history reveals that the hypothesis of “one disease, one germ” is a modern con, moving down a blind alley at midnight. And when you add “one vaccine” to the formula, you get an even greater degree of lunacy.

But you also get a trillion-dollar commercial success.

Erdogan Using Humans as ‘Weapon’ Against EU, Austria’s Kurz Says

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of using migrants who are amassed on the Greek border as a “weapon” against the European Union.

“This rush is not an accident, it’s organized,” Kurz told journalists in Vienna. “Those people are used by Erdogan as a playball, as a weapon, to apply pressure on the European Union.”

The European Union must stand united behind Greece, and protect the borders as well as provide humanitarian help, Kurz said.

MACAU GAMING REVENUE COLLAPSES 87.8% IN FEBRUARY

Analysts continue to see the near-term outlook as “murky”. JP Morgan estimates a 24% decrease in gross gaming revenue for the year, based on a 70% drop in March and a 35% decline in the second quarter.

The same analysts said in a March 1 note: “We do not think COVID-19 will curb gamblers’ enthusiasm in a sustainable way, so its impact on the industry’s sustainable earnings power should be limited.”

It continued: “Looking at the glass half-full, we feel it could have been worse given the extensive level of disruption suffered.”

Yeah, good thinking. After all, revenues could have been down 100%.

Erdogan warns Europe to expect ‘millions’ of migrants after Turkey opens borders

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned on Monday that "millions" of migrants would soon head for Europe, drawing accusations from EU leaders that he is trying to pressure them into backing his incursions into Syria.

Turkey gave the green light to refugees and migrants on Friday to leave for the European Union and thousands have since massed at the Greek border, triggering fears of an influx like that which poisoned European politics in 2015.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel described Turkey's move as "unacceptable" and EU migration commissioner Margaritis Schinas said nobody could "blackmail or intimidate the EU".

But Turkey, which hosts roughly four million refugees, is trying to hold off another mass influx from Syria – where government forces backed by Russian air power are advancing into the last rebel stronghold of Idlib.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Europe is singularly unprepared for this flood of immigrants, and has no cohesive way to stop them, save assassination at the borders, which is hardly likely.

But the real problem here, is the reality that Russia and Turkey are closer to war over Syria, than they have ever been before; ad US and European/NATO fire-power to the mix, and we have a recipe for disaster.

As NATO is a partner with Turkey, this makes the possibility of an intense US/NATO incursion into Syria, a lot more real than it has been before.
And we also have a companion piece, also from antiwar.com, with the following headline: Threat of a US and Russian Nuclear War Is Now at Its Greatest Since 1983
The article goes on to state: "When the Commander of NATO says he is a fan of flexible first strike at the same time that NATO is flexing its military muscle on Russia’s border, the risk of inadvertent nuclear war is real.

US Air Force Gen. Tod D. Wolters told the Senate this week he “is a fan of flexible first strike” regarding NATO’s nuclear weapons, thereby exposing the fatal fallacy of the alliance’s embrace of American nuclear deterrence policy.

It was one of the most remarkable yet underreported exchanges in recent Senate history. Earlier this week, during the testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee of General Tod Wolters, the commander of US European Command and, concurrently, as the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe (SACEUR) also the military head of all NATO armed forces, General Wolters engaged in a short yet informative exchange with Senator Deb Fischer, a Republican from the state of Nebraska.

Following some initial questions and answers focused on the alignment of NATO’s military strategy with the 2018 National Defense Strategy of the US, which codified what Wolters called “the malign influence on behalf of Russia” toward European security, Senator Fischer asked about the growing recognition on the part of NATO of the important role of US nuclear deterrence in keeping the peace. “We all understand that our deterrent, the TRIAD, is the bedrock of the security of this country,” Fischer noted. “Can you tell us about what you are hearing…from our NATO partners about this deterrent?”

Wolters responded by linking the deterrence provided to Europe by the US nuclear TRIAD with the peace enjoyed on the European continent over the past seven decades. Fischer asked if the US nuclear umbrella was “vital in the freedom of NATO members”; Wolters agreed. Remarkably, Wolters linked the role of nuclear deterrence with the NATO missions in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere outside the European continent. NATO’s mission, he said, was to “proliferate deterrence to the max extent practical to achieve greater peace.”

Then came the piece de resistance of the hearing. “What are your views, Sir,” Senator Fischer asked, “of adopting a so-called no-first-use policy. Do you believe that that would strengthen deterrence?”

General Wolters’ response was straight to the point. “Senator, I’m a fan of flexible first-use policy.”

I don't know if that statement scares any one of you as much as it does me, but right now, my hair is standing straight up in the back... and breakdancing,

Bloomberg tells AIPAC he'll 'never impose conditions' on military aid to Israel

Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg on Monday pledged to support Israel’s security and constrain Iran’s nuclear program at the annual pro-Israel AIPAC summit in Washington, while also criticizing Sen. Bernie Sanders for boycotting the annual event, which has been a lightning rod in the 2020 Democratic primary.

Bloomberg was the only 2020 Democratic presidential candidate to attend the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Conference in Washington, a move criticized by progressives and some Democrats not aligned with the group's views.

“I can’t tell you how glad I am to be at AIPAC,” he said. "Israel is small, we know, but resilient, and surrounded by adversaries. And if you caught the last couple of presidential debates you know that I can empathize."

MORE: Bloomberg criticizes Trump’s response to coronavirus as he launches campaign blitz ahead of Super Tuesday

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation from Bloombergese into English; "I will allow Israeli full, unfettered and free rein to "play picador" in the Middle East, until it gets into a fight it cannot win on its own, and then expend American troops to clean up after Israel, no matter the cost in blood and money!

And hey, invading Iran, even if Russia has pledged to support it in the case of a US invasion of it, Iran ‘Won’t Be Alone’ If the U.S. Attacks, Russian Official Saysis no big deal!!"

Mayor Bloomberg, a word, please; there are moments when US and Israeli objectives align in the Middle East, and times when they most assuredly do NOT align; this last, and thoroughly irresponsible statement, indicates to both American voters, and the rest of the world, that you are hard-pressed to understand the difference here, and are infinitely more inclined to support Israel, no matter if it is completely wrong in its premise to wage whatever wars they feel are critical, at any given point in time, than supporting an even-handed approach to the region's politics.

Greece has no right to stop accepting asylum requests – UN

The UN’s refugee agency said on Monday that Greece had no right to stop accepting asylum applications as Athens struggles with a sudden increase in arrivals of Middle East refugees and migrants from Turkey at its border.

Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Sunday his country would not be accepting any new asylum requests for a month after two days of clashes between border police and thousands of people seeking to enter the EU from Turkey, Reuters reported.

“It is important that the authorities refrain from any measures that might increase the suffering of vulnerable people,” the UNHCR said in a statement. “All states have a right to control their borders and manage irregular movements, but at the same time should refrain from the use of excessive or disproportionate force and maintain systems for handling asylum requests in an orderly manner.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would then politely suggest, that this UN Committee, and all of its members, insist that all immigrants straining Greece's immigration system, immediately (and gently) be air-dropped on the homes of all members of this Committee, and their Committee Head; happy "cultural enrichment", guys!!

FEDERAL JUDGE ORDERS HILLARY CLINTON DEPOSITION TO ADDRESS PRIVATE EMAILS: 'STILL MORE TO LEARN'

A federal judge Monday granted a request from conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch to have former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sit for a sworn deposition to answer questions about her use of a private email server to conduct government business.

Clinton has argued that she has already answered questions about this and should not have to do so again -- the matter did not result in any charges for the then-presidential candidate in 2016 after a high-profile investigation -- but D.C. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth said in his ruling that her past responses left much to be desired.

"As extensive as the existing record is, it does not sufficiently explain Secretary Clinton’s state of mind when she decided it would be an acceptable practice to set up and use a private server to conduct State Department business," Lamberth said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am not holding my breath, awaiting for Clinton to respond here, in any way, shape, or form.

NIKE CLOSES EUROPE HEADQUARTERS AFTER EMPLOYEE CONTRACTS CORONAVIRUS

SOURCE: DAN LYMAN
Nike has temporarily closed its European headquarters in the Netherlands due to an employee contracting coronavirus.

Approximately 2,000 employees from 80 different countries work at the massive facility in Hilversum, North Holland.

"We are aware of an employee coronavirus case," Nike told Reuters in a statement.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we are conducting a deep cleaning of the campus."

Nike also closed its worldwide headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, after the state's first presumed coronavirus case was discovered in nearby Lake Oswego.

"While we have no information indicating any exposure to Nike employees, out of an abundance of caution, we are conducting a deep cleaning of campus," a company spokesperson told local media.

"All WHQ buildings and facilities, including fitness centers, will be closed over the weekend."

There are 18 confirmed coronavirus cases in the Netherlands, at the time of this writing.

Exit polls: 59 seats to Netanyahu's right-wing bloc

Highest turnout in 21 years appears to have worked in Netanyahu's favor as he claims right to form government; all three exit polls predict Gantz's Blue & White losing significant ground to ruling Likud
Ynet|
Updated: 03.03.20 , 02:08

Voting in Israel's Election Day ended at 10pm Tuesday with the three main television exit polls predicting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party will likely claim significantly more seats than Benny Gantz's Blue & White party but with the right-wing bloc still two seats short of a parliamentary majority.

An initial prediction from the three channels of 60 seats to the right-wing bloc was amended by all 59 seats as the night went on.
According to the public broadcaster KAN, Likud has won 36 seats, while the Blue & White has won 33 seats. Channel 12 (Keshet) had Likud on 37 seats and Blue & White on 32. According to Channel 13, Likud will win 37 seats and Blue & White 34 seats.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The problems here are, that without some kind of coalition, and plurality with Gantz's"Blue & White Party", Netanyahu's win yesterday, makes Israel no more governable than before the election started, because the rivalry between Netanyahu's party, and Gantz's, never got resolved.

We will see if there is any resolution in the near future, but given both mens' penchants for hubris, you could see Israel at war with any of her regional neighbors in a heartbeat.

THE NOBILITY OF TULSI GABBARD

SOURCE: W.J.ASTORE VIA BRACINGVIEWS.COM
In the South Carolina primary won on Saturday by Joe Biden, Tulsi Gabbard earned only 1.3% of the vote. Her poor showing was due in part to her outcast status among the Democratic establishment joined by mainstream media outlets like MSNBC and CNN.

Speaking of CNN, I caught a few minutes of coverage over the weekend during which its commentators confessed they couldn’t understand why Tulsi was still running. One person (Anderson Cooper, the weasel) suggested she was angling for a job with Fox News.

Of course, Tulsi’s principled opposition to regime-change wars and other disastrous U.S. foreign policy decisions went unmentioned. When her name is mentioned by the corporate-owned media, it’s usually in the context of the candidate most likely to succeed – in Russia.

By running in the election, Tulsi Gabbard continues to make an invaluable contribution:

Webmaster's Commentary:

This woman may well go down in history, as one of the most principled candidates in the 2020 race; that is why she was knocked out of contention, because she is no warmonger, and doesn't believe that the Unhinged, Surveilled State of Amerika needs these endless wars to keep it alive and well.

SCHOOLS ARE SPYING ON STUDENTS — BUT STUDENTS CAN FIGHT BACK

San Francisco – Schools across the country are increasingly using technology to spy on students at home, at school, and on social media. Today, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) launched a new Surveillance Self-Defense guide for students and their parents, so they can learn more about how schools are watching them, and how they can fight back.

The surveillance technology currently in use includes software to scan students’ social media posts, cameras with facial recognition and other scanning capabilities, and microphones to “detect aggression.” Schools can even track you on devices that they don’t control: if you have to download a certain kind of security certificate to use the school Internet, they may be monitoring your browser history and messages you send.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I know that here in Indiana, parents are turning increasingly to home schooling, to avoid just such kinds of surveillance, and insure that the core values with which those kids are impressed, are their parents' core values.

Turkey in Syria: Down a Blind Alley in an Unwinnable War?

Turkish Forces Will Leave Syria – One Way or Another

Turkish troops will not be able to remain indefinitely in Syria. Their proxies will eventually be liquidated and the positions of Turkish forces surrounded by Syrian forces. In many areas of Idlib this is already the case. Additional Turkish troops and supplies fed into losing battles and what is ultimately a lost war will only delay the inevitable undoing of Turkish interests in Syria.

Ankara could – on the other hand – begin aligning its policies with the reality of what is happening in Idlib and expand its cooperation with Russia and Iran regarding the Syrian conflict – incrementally withdrawing support from militant groups, encouraging them to disarm and surrender, and gradually handing over Turkish positions within Syria to the actual military, government, and people of Syria.

IRAN REJECTS TRUMP OFFER OF HELP ON CORONAVIRUS AS AYATOLLAH AIDE DIES: 'WE DON'T NEED THEM'

An Iranian official has dismissed President Donald Trump's offer of help in fighting the coronavirus, which on Monday claimed the life of a senior aide to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Abbas Mousavi said Monday that the U.S. is seeking to use the virus outbreak as part of its propaganda campaign against Iran to undermine national unity.

"Since the outbreak of the virus in Iran, we have been observing the U.S.-led anti-Iranian propaganda campaign and know about the measures the Americans have taken to reduce Iranian nation's morale," Mousavi told reporters, according to the Mehr News Agency.

Mousavi added that Tehran is "doubtful" about the U.S. offer of help and accused Washington of hiding its political motives behind the proposed cooperation. "We do not need them," Mousavi said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is unfortunate, that the US government has, historically, and nearly pathologically, given the Iranian government so many reasons to mistrust anything the US might do, even if it is a gesture that at least, on the surface, looks humanitarian enough in its actual intent.

And to the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as an American who does care about her country very intensely, and wishes peaceful self-determination for all countries of the earth, I would say the following; sir, this is perhaps a time to put down past, and prevailing, upsets with the US (and I do understand that right now, they are MANY), and let us encourage all of our brothers and sisters in our scientific communities to work together, responsibly, to find answers as to why this pandemic spread out of control so so rapidly; what its true nature is; and how to effectively, and intelligently, find a safe vaccine which will immunize all of humankind from this plague.

You have no idea who I am, or that I even exist; but I do read, and post from, presstv.com frequently, and there is one thing I do know about the Iranian people; they care, very much, for their families, and want to keep them well and healthy.

I am respectfully requesting that you might want to rethink this decision; and to the US government, if there is a little bit of relenting here on the Iranian side, please honor and respect that.

The Limits of Force: A Bayonet in the Back Will Not Restore China’s Economy

Summary:
Force cannot restore legitimacy, trust or confidence, nor can it magically erase the consequences of a still-unfolding national trauma. The Chinese authorities threatening to punish workers who refuse to return to work are getting a lesson in the limits of force in an unprecedented national trauma: a bayonet in the back will not restore the legitimacy and confidence that have been lost. There are two enormous blind spots in conventional media coverage of the pandemic: 1. The limits of force in restoring China’s economy to pre-pandemic levels. 2. The longer term (i.e. second-order) consequences of the immense trauma experienced by the Chinese people. While the media focuses on questionable statistics and economic claims–factories are already back to 60% capacity, etc.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Smith is entirely correct in his assessment here.

If you are of a mind to do so, please pray for everyone dealing with this horrific pandemic; the victims; their families; their friends, and the heroically dedicated medical teams trying to save them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What we at WRH want to do, is spread awareness, and not panic.

That being said, you may want to consider some reasonable precautions, and do some prepping, if you have not already. Consider your local big-box store your "friend" right now, and think about doing some stocking up, just in case. It is always better to have, and not need, rather than the converse.

If you, those you care about, and/or your pets take any meds, you might want to talk to your doctor about having more than necessary in your medicine chest; make sure you have potable water, storable food; and ways to cook if something goes south with your utility system.

Again, all of the above is reasonable, non-panic-inducing ways to keep yourself (and those you care about) safe.

"There's No Pollution" - NASA Satellite Images Expose China's "Production Has Resumed" False Narrative

We first pointed out the reality of China's 'official' return to production as a false narrative two weeks ago.

The key takeaways were:

The start of the new year normally sees higher pollution across China due to higher coal/fuel consumption for heating and resumption of industrial production after Chinese New Year.

Guangzhou, Shanghai and Chengdu see a clear pattern – air pollution is only 20-50% of the historical average. This could imply that human activities such as traffic and industrial production within/close to those cities are running 50-80% below their potential capacity.

And now, thanks to satellite images published by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), we have further confirmation that nothing is back in China.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Chinese government has GOT to back away from its "magical thinking" here, and embrace reality, when global scientific measurements can so easily refute what it is saying about a "post-coronavirus reality" in terms of manufacturing and production.

Turkey Asks NATO to Join Its War Against Syria and Russia

Note: The events that led to this critical impasse were reported by me last night, and that report thus continues here, in order to provide context to these events.

The spokesperson for the Islamist party of Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan has called upon all of NATO to go to war against Syria for Syria’s having killed dozens of Turkey’s troops in order for Syria to defeat Turkey’s invasion and military occupation of Syria’s Idlib Province, which borders on Turkey. Going to war against Syria would mean going to war also against Russia, which is in Syria to protect Syria’s sovereignty over its own territory. If the United States accepts that Turkish proposal, then World War III will consequently result.

MAN PARALYZED BY COPS DURING ILLEGAL RAID OVER $100 WEED GETS $11M AS LYING COPS WALK

SOURCE: THE FREE THOUGHT PROJECT
Myrtle Beach, SC — The taxpayers of South Carolina were put on notice this week that they will be the ones footing the record $8.5 million bill for the cops who dumped dozens of rounds into a Myrtle Beach man over $100 worth of pot. The victim, Julian Betton was left paralyzed by Drug Enforcement Unit officers with Myrtle Beach police hell bent on eradicating a plant that is legal in some form in most of the country.

Burton Craige, an attorney with the Chapel Hill, N.C.-based Patterson Harkavy law firm, said Myrtle Beach officials agreed to an $8.5 million settlement, according to WMBF.

Betton sued the city and officer David Belue, alleging unlawful entry and the use of excessive force in the April 16, 2015 raid. The latest settlement comes after Betton already received $2.75 million from the Drug Enforcement Unit task force. The city of Myrtle Beach and Belue were the only remaining defendants, according to WMBF.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To all those thinking about hosting a company event in Myrtle Beach...DON'T, and please let the current Mayor of this city, Brenda Bethune, understand why.

If you happen to live in this city, move as immediately as possible out of it, again informing Mayor Bethune, as to why this has happened.

If you have a kid in the public school system, pull them out of there, and place them in a private school as quickly as possible, again informing Mayor Bethune, as to why this has happened.

And please clearly explain that the reason you are taking these actions, is because living, working, and just being, in Myrtle Beach, has become hazardous to the health of its citizens and visitors, as this incident has aptly demonstrated.

THIS ASSANGE “TRIAL” IS A SELF-CONTRADICTORY KAFKAESQUE NIGHTMARE

It’s common in British courtrooms to have something called a “dock”, a place where defendants sit separately from court proceedings. Not all UK courtrooms have docks, and not all docks are the “secure” glass cabinet type which Assange is kept in; they can also be open wooden enclosures. Because Assange is being kept without explanation in a maximum security prison normally reserved the most dangerous violent offenders and terrorism convicts, his trial is taking place in a cage that is very much the “secure” type (so much so that he’s been complaining that he can’t hear the proceedings in his own trial through the bulletproof glass), and there is an expectation that he remain there. The magistrate has ruled that this nonviolent offender shall be kept in his sound-resistant enclosure throughout the duration of his trial, bizarrely asserting that Assange poses a danger to the public.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please remember; nothing ever reported at Wikileaks, has ever been proven to be wrong.

What is happening to Assange is punishment for having told the truth, and "embarrassing" certain US public officials; nothing more and nothing less.

His extradition, and ultimate guilty verdict in an alleged US "Court of Law", means that no journalist will ever be safe in this country if they tell the truth, EVER AGAIN.

THE TRILATERAL COMMISSION: USING CRISIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO REFORM

SOURCE: STEVEN GUINNESS
A couple of years ago I posted an article that gave a brief overview of the Trilateral Commission, quoting directly from numerous former members of the institution and how their overarching goal was for the integration of nation states at the expense of self determination.

As noted in the brochure, one of the purposes of creating the Trilateral Commission back in 1973 was to ‘buttress a beleaguered trading order.’ When considering the rise in political protectionism, trade is at the forefront of the discussion. As well as the future trading relationship between the UK and the EU, and the ongoing trade conflict between the U.S. and China, there is now the added element of the Coronavirus which threatens to restrict global supply chains. Taken together, it is a melting pot of developing crises.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In our world, there is only one, count them, ONE set of "Contracts with America"; they are called the Constitution and Bill of Rights, period, end of discussion.

SYRIA - DEADLY BOMB STRIKE WARNS TURKEY TO END ITS ESCAPADES

SOURCE: MOON OF ALABAMA
The last three days of the Idleb campaign were quite eventful.

The Turkey supported Jihadis threw everything they had against Saraqib where the M4 and M5 highways join. This enabled the Syrian army to take some 40 towns and cities at the southern front. The whole Ghab plain is now in liberated and the frontline has been massively shortened.

Saraqib fell to the Jihadis but they paid a very bloody price for it as the Syrian and Russian air force continued to intensively bomb the approaches to the city. A new defensive line has now been established around Saraqib and the Syrian army is preparing to recover it.

To take the large area in the south in difficult terrain and against little resistance was more important than the temporary loss of Saraqib.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to hope and pray that someone besides Erdogan, in Ankara, is reading the tea leaves here, and understands - fully - what has to happen, which is a total and complete withdrawal of Turkish troops from Syria, and as immediately as humanly possible.

Angering Russia in this way was one of the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid things Erdogan could have done here, to the point where Moscow believed that the only remedy for Turkey's aggression, was a retaliation of this magnitude.

I would like to hope (and pray) that Edrogan is capable of learning from his mistakes, but am unsure how this will translate into Turkey's future policy on Syria and Russia.

The left’s insistence on pushing drag culture on children will only create resentment towards queers

Another day, and another piece of media is circulating the web that depicts a child in an uncomfortable situation. This time a drag queen dances suggestively for a small girl.

The video, uploaded on Tiktok, opens with a scantily clad male with his rear cheeks hanging out, crawling on hands and knees towards the child sitting in a chair. Taking on the air of a scene from a strip club, patrons of the restaurant clap and cheer. He then stands up with his short shorts, leaving little to the imagination, dances a bit, and then kneels next to the girl, as he says something to her while jiggling his booty.

Even NATO is unwilling to touch Turkey’s Idlib mess with a ten-foot pole

Scott Ritter
is a former US Marine Corps intelligence officer. He served in the Soviet Union as an inspector implementing the INF Treaty, in General Schwarzkopf’s staff during the Gulf War, and from 1991-1998 as a UN weapons inspector. Follow him on Twitter @RealScottRitter

Having been hit by the Syrian Air Force in Idlib, Turkey has called on NATO’s protection, but as much as the alliance would like a fight with Assad and his ally Russia, it’s refused to back Ankara’s questionable adventure.
Turkey engaged NATO in Article 4 consultations, seeking help regarding the crisis in Syria. The meeting produced a statement from NATO condemning the actions of Russia and Syria and advocating for humanitarian assistance, but denying Turkey the assistance it sought.

A failed gamble

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is painfully obvious, that Erdogan did not due his "due dilligence" with NATO, of which Turkey is a member, to sound out potential support for this military misadventure, which is on track to be one of the most miserable epic fails in Turkey's contemporary history, before he decided to send in troops.

The next Turkish Parliamentary elections are scheduled in about 3 years from now. Turkish General Elections Scheduled for 2023.

IF Edrogan keeps writing geopolitical checks his military is unable to cash, this pathologically "bad behaviour" on his part may well sour the Turkish electorate on him; cause the voting public to go back to a Parliamentary system of elections; and find someone else who will care enough about the Turkish people and its military to not put them in harm's way like this.

And now, we have a related story, from rt.com, with the following headline:
Turkey & Syria on brink of WAR in Idlib: How did it come to this?

I am hoping (and praying) that Russia's collective general level head will continue to prevail, but it all depends on how hard Erdogan, and his military, are willing to push back here.

Erdogan has been very much behaving like the human version of a loose cannon, ever since the 2016 attempted coup in Turkey; I am seriously hoping that there has got to be a point, where he has to realize what harm he is bringing to both his people, and his military; but in looking at his current behaviour, relative to Syria, I am not so certain that we are going to see a change in the behaviour which brought Turkey into Syria in the first place.

UK Should Be 'Scared to Death' of Assange Extradition Over Public Backlash - Politician

LONDON (Sputnik) - The UK government should be "scared to death" of a popular uproar over its treatment of the imprisoned founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, especially in the event of him being extradited to face espionage charges in the United States, Chris Marsden, the national secretary of the UK Socialist Equality Party, said.

The remarks come amid Assange's extradition hearing that started on Monday at Woolwich Crown Court in the UK capital of London. Earlier in the day, dozens of WikiLeaks supporters gathered outside the court, carrying banners with messages such as "Don’t Extradite Assange" and "The Truth Will Win."

According to Marsden, the accusations against Assange were effectively a "frame up" arguably motivated by Washington's desire to punish the whistleblower for his role in the publishing of materials implicating US forces in possible war crimes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please remember; none of the Wikileaks revelations have ever been proven wrong.

US Defences Are Incapable of Intercepting Russian, Chinese Missiles, Navy Admiral Admits

The statement was made during a hearing devoted to the US plans to modernise American weapons and to possible ways the US can respond to the new cutting-edge weapons Russia rolled out in last two years.

US Navy Admiral Charles Richard has admitted that existing American air defences were not designed to counter modern hypersonic glide weapons, like the one recently deployed by Russia, and currently developed by China, and hence these weapons "challenge" the US, during an open hearing at the US House Subcommittee on Strategic Forces. He added that the Pentagon even has trouble determining the capabilities of modern weapons, although it still can make a reliable guess on what threat these weapons pose.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So let me get my head wrapped around this; for all the money spent, the US military is still behind the proverbial 8-ball when it comes to weapons development which should be AT LEAST a step ahead of what Russia and China are producing right now?!?

For all the money US taxpayers have forked out to prevent this, it is still, apparently, happening; there should be a public hearing as to why this has happened, and the heads of those companies which have screwed US taxpayers out of the best weapons systems in the world (which we should, absolutely, have by now, with what has been spent on these systems) should be hard time in a non-club Fed prison for a form of treason against the people of the US, not to mention its military.

Draconian?!? Absolutely.

But it will possibly "cure the problem"?!?

I strongly believe that the short answer is, "HELL, yes!!"

Turkey-Russia Tensions Soar After Deadly Syria Strike

The leaders of Russia and Turkey held crisis talks Friday after 33 Turkish soldiers died in a regime air strike in Syria, prompting President Donald Trump to urge an end to the Moscow-backed Syrian offensive against rebel holdouts.

The attack by Syrian forces took place late Thursday in the northwestern province of Idlib, where President Bashar al-Assad is waging a fierce campaign to oust rebels from their last stronghold.

Trump "condemned" the attack on Turkey's troops and joined his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in calling jointly on Russia and Syria to "halt" the Idlib operation, the White House said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, a word please, just in case your "kitchen cabinet" failed to inform you; Idlib is sovereign Syrian territory, which the Syrian and Russian governments are working to take back from foreign -sponsored terrorists, like those Turkey has been supporting, training, funding, and arming.

The country absoflippinglutely in the wrong here, is Turkey,; not Syria, and not Russia; I do not know why you have a problem keeping this fact straight, but it appears that you very much do have a problem, keeping this fact straight.

Turkey needs to leave immediately, to ratchet down tensions here.

Leaked Internal Reports Show China's Main Priorities Are Controlling Public Opinion, Social Stability

Leaked Internal Reports Show China's Main Priorities Are Controlling Public Opinion, Social Stability
Authored by Nicole Hao via The Epoch Times,

Chinese officials in Wuhan and other cities within Hubei Province, where the novel coronavirus outbreak is most severe, reported to their higher-ups in the provincial government that people are not able to secure treatment, running out of supplies amid restrictive lockdown measures, and feeling fearful and anxious about the spreading disease.

espite such observations, authorities prioritized how to “control the society” and “manipulate public opinion” to view China’s efforts to contain the virus positively, according to internal government reports that The Epoch Times obtained.

Authorities in the city of Shiyan, for example, listed their working targets as:

“monitor closely petitioners and people whose benefits have been severely damaged”—in other words, people most likely to dissent against the authorities;

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder at what point the seething anger felt by a society which believes their government allowed this to happen; then made its citizens the "fall guys" for getting ill; then closed off their income; through travel restrictions, is going to wonder if in fact that government is worth the aggravation.

China may not be there yet; but a lot will depend on how loyal its military is, once infections and deaths start to decimate its ranks; but I can tell you, that I sure as hell wouldn't want to be in Chinese leadership right now, unless I had a "bullet-proof escape strategy".

And it is very definitely possible, that many of these people have just gotten comfortable with their own, very hubristic view that such a thing could NEVER happen in China.

I would like to very politely remind those people, that in 1979, the US was confident that the Shah of Iran could not be overthrown; or as thought the the Communists in Moscow that Ceaușescu would be overthrown in December of 1989.

Push groups of people to the very edge, and sometimes the world can very surprised as to the final outcome from those actions.

I would politely suggest to Chinese leadership, that they need real solutions to this pandemic, and need to reach out to the world scientific community before this virus gets completely reverse engineered, and is, very probably, shown to be not an accident, but a biological weapon.

Hyundai halts work at Korean plant after worker tests positive for coronavirus

SEOUL -- Hyundai Motor shut down a factory in South Korea on Friday after a worker tested positive for the new coronavirus.

The factory in Ulsan builds the Palisade, Tucson, Santa Fe and Genesis GV80 crossovers.

The closing dealt a fresh setback to Hyundai, which has gradually resumed production at local plants hit by a Chinese parts shortage in the wake of the virus outbreak.

South Korea has the most infected people outside China, affecting companies like Samsung and Hyundai. South Korea on Friday reported 256 new cases, bringing the total number of infected to 2,022, as the world prepared for a global recession.

"The company has also placed colleagues who came in close contact with the infected employee in self-quarantine and taken steps to have them tested for possible infection," Hyundai Motor said in a news release.

The automaker said it was disinfecting the factory. It did not say when production would resume.

Webmaster's Commentary:

To those brother and sister Americans who have not yet figured that this is going to be a world-altering event, please think again.

IF you have not prepped yet, now might not be a bad time to go to your local big box store, and stock up on essentials; potable water; water filters; medications; storable food; ways to cook if the grid goes down; disinfectant; and soaps.

No one wants to think about a pandemic of this magnitude causing world commerce to come to an horrific crawl, but crawl it will, if borders become shut, and goods stop getting shipped; and yes, now is the time to think about this, before what you want or need to buy to protect yourself and/or your family, is no longer available.

4 Reasons Why Socialism Fails

he new “democratic socialists” want to make their followers believe that one could redistribute wealth and income and socialize a large part of the economy without harming production and productivity. They claim that a comprehensive control of the economy by the government would bring more justice and more prosperity. The democratic socialists want more planning and less market. Yet this postulate ignores that socialism does not fail by accident or circumstance. Socialism fails because it suffers from four fundamental design defects.

First, socialism eradicates private property and markets and thus eliminates rational calculation.
Second, socialism allows soft budgets, so there is no mechanism in place to discard inefficient production methods.
Third, abolishing private property and replacing it by the state distorts the incentives.

The American Hybrid War on China

China is already the key hub of the global economy and the leading trade partner of nearly 130 nations.

While the U.S. economy is hollowed out, and the casino financing of the U.S. government – repo markets and all – reads as a dystopian nightmare, the civilization-state steps ahead in myriad areas of technological research, not least because of Made in China 2025.

Stock market live updates: Dow drops 1190 points amid coronavirus fears, S&P 500 sees fastest correction in history

Global financial markets plunged for the sixth consecutive day on Thursday, with coronavirus fears shaving over 1,100 points off the Dow (^DJI) — its biggest in history — and sending the S&P 500 (^GSPC) swooning to its fastest-ever correction.

“Global markets were down $1.83 trillion today, with the U.S. down $1.33 trillion,“ S&P Dow Jones’ Howard Silverblatt said in an email. He added that over the past six days, global markets erased $6 trillion in wealth with U.S. markets losing $4 trillion.

Investors took fright amid the first coronavirus case in the U.S. involving a person who didn’t travel to an infected country and didn’t knowingly interact with someone who did. Meanwhile, California’s governor said the state is monitoring more than 8,400 people who could possibly have the virus.

The Fix Is In: Overseeing the Payouts to Boeing Crash Victims’ Families: The Appointment of Kenneth Feinberg

Feinberg played a similar role when he was selected in July 2019 to head the $50 million Boeing Financial Assistance Fund. In that role, he oversaw payments of a mere $144,500 to each family that lost a loved one on either the crash of Lion Air Flight 610 in October 2018 outside of Jakarta, Indonesia or Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 in March 2019 near Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

In total, Boeing has pledged only $100 million to compensate the crash victims’ families and neighborhoods for putting their friends and relatives on the deadly Max 8 jets. For comparison, the company reported revenues of $76.6 billion in 2019 and has pledged to pay airlines at least $5 billion for their lost profits resulting from the two crashes. To date, no executives at the company or regulators at the Federal Aviation Administration, which were all aware of the deadly flaws in the Max 8, have been prosecuted or even charged for the murder of the 346 men, women and children who were killed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sounds as though Boeing execs knew precisely what they were doing here; the guy is a corporate "fixer", par excellence.

The man's mantra is "Screw the victims; protect the corporations which hire me.", which is a very attractive, comforting credo to all those who have hired, and will hire, this guy, or people like him, in the future.

He is one of many in the "dark underbelly" of American corporate power, and most assuredly has has his conscience surgically removed, before he began his quest for personal profits at the expense of people who have been, and will continue, to be marginalized by major corporations which have failed both their stock-holders, by pushing inferior, death-inducing products, as well as the American people, who trusted these corporations with their lives, and the lives of their families.

India’s Waging a State-on-Citizen Hybrid War to Build Modi’s Hindu Rashtra

The Modi Mob Might Be Planning A Massive Anti-Muslim Massacre

Webmaster's Commentary:

That vague, but persistently awful, and chronic, sound you are hearing, is that of Mahatma Gandhi, not thumping from the grave, as he was cremated after his assassination, but thumping from heaven itself, and screaming to the Indian government, "What the hell do you think you are doing to my India, which should have been a place where people of all faiths should be able to live together, peacefully and responsibly"?!?!?
